I would like to start with the fact that I don't do a lot of reviews unless I truly believe in the company, because I factor the experience that others have had with a company in my decision making process.

I found Green Mountain Painting and Contracting here on Google. I read the reviews and called them along with three other companies. Ian showed up the next day at the appointed time and walked around the house with me addressing my concerns and he took his time to give me a comprehensive bid to repair and paint our home. I got three other bids but felt confident that Green Mountain would provide us with the best service and materials.

Ian and his crew did an amazing job on our house! It was in pretty rough shape, there was a lot of peeling paint, the window sills were in poor condition and there was significant siding damage on my chimney. Ian
assured me that though he may not be the cheapest painting company that their attention to detail and use of quality materials would be worth it.

They fixed everything they said they would and more and did it for the agreed upon bid. They caulked the entire house not just the windows They scraped and painted the siding, and the window sills were cracked and peeling. Then they put two coats of high quality Sherwin Williams Paint on the house.

After they finished Ian personally came back, touched up a few spots he noticed and completed the job. (I didn't call him, he just wanted to make sure it was right) It looks like a new house!

I highly recommend Ian Green and Green Mountain Painting. We liked them so much that we recommended them to a friend who is having their house painted later this month.

Chose this contractor for exterior paint to our house due to positive experience of a neighbor and because he had the lowest bid out of three estimates. There was a delay in receiving the bid, but once accepted the job started right away. Owner Ian Green provided family teams of 2-3 and completed the job quickly. Ian is detail oriented and brought back the team for touch up in subtle areas before an invoice was submitted. Another benefit was access to a color consultant which was inclusive in the bid and we utilized that with good result. All steps for the process, spec sheets for the paint, and expectations were all printed out. Owner Ian Green seems to be "old school trained" to take time and pay attention to detail with painting as well as paying attention to the "science" of painting with attention type of product used and how it is applied. Therefore, I do recommend Green Mountain Painting.

We chose Green Mountain Painting & Contracting for a challenging re-staining of our 15-year-old wood gazebo. We chose them based on previous reviews for excellent work on outdoor wood fences and decks. Ian and team did an excellent job power washing, sanding, repairing shingles and rough boards, protecting nearby landscaping. Will return to Green Mountain for future painting needs.

Ian and the crew did a beautiful job on our 100 year old house. They painted the entire exterior. It was a handful with all of the trim and molding. Not to mention its 3 stories so there was lots of ladder work. They used the best quality paint and the job was done for significantly less than the competition bids. Nice work Ian! Ill certainly have you back when the other buildings need paint!

We had a wonderful experience with Green Mountain Painting. They repaired the trims on our windows and doors and carefully painted the exterior of our house beautifully. Ian and Nikki were communicative despite the weather not being on our side and they honored the off-season price that we contracted for even though they were not able to complete our project until "on-season." Christian was the lead on our project and he was also incredibly professional, kind, and hard-working. We will definitely recommend Green Mountain to anyone looking to spruce up their home!

Green Mountain Painting did a fantastic job at painting our ceiling! We needed the job done quickly due to moving. First, Ian was able to come to the house for a free quote days before any other paint company I contacted. Then, the Green Mountain crew even came at off hours in order to get our job completed just a few days after the initial quote. Other companies in town had told us they couldn't start painting for several weeks, so we were so pleased with the speed (and quality!) of Green Mountain. Additionally, our ridiculously weird ceiling needed several coats of paint, and the crew kept painting until the ceiling looked as good as possible. Ian personally came out to make sure the ceiling looked suitable and he and his crew worked on the ceiling on a weekend. Additionally, Nikki was easy to communicate with, and the entire process of obtaining the quote and scheduling the job was simple. We wouldn't hesitate to use this company again or recommend it to others!

My experience with Green Mountain Painting & Contracting has been wonderful! The exterior of my home needed repainting and a lot of TLC to bring it back to life and the work that Green Mountain performed was beyond my expectations! They were careful in their work and paid close attention to details. Extra time and effort was taken to make sure that the finished outcome was perfect! I am extremely pleased with the quality and color of the paint, the company's diligence to complete the work, and the excellent customer service I was given. Ian responded to my service request right away and was there the next day to do a walk through of the entire exterior. He listened to my needs, but also made recommendations based on the age and wear of our home.

Green Mountain Painting's business manager, Nikki, was efficient at providing details, scheduling, and getting back right away with answers to my questions, and also provided us with a thorough service agreement, complete with insurance paperwork for the company.

Once the custom paint was matched, Ian made it a priority to start and complete our job in a timely manner, while also paying attention to the details. The exterior paint looks great, has freshened up our home, and we anticipate it lasting for many years to come. We'll be using Green Mountain Painting for our future painting project needs!

Ian and his crew were hands down the best painting company we have ever work with--they're up there with the best contractors we've worked with! I used Green Mountain on an extensive interior remodel. They were professional, prompt in providing and explaining in detail the scope of the project and the time frame for completing the project. They were great at communication and completed the project in a timely manner. The cost for the scope of work that was done very reasonable. Ian and Nikki were a pleasure to work with. Green Mountain did a great job! I purchased a home last year with multi-color interior paints in very vivid and dark colors. I prefer neutral walls. Green Mountain Painting did an amazing job repainting my Massage Therapy Office. The wall repair and custom design completely transformed the space! Ian was so helpful throughout the whole process, he gave me a free color consultation and even stopped by the office to follow up after the work was completed. Green Mountain did a good job on exterior painting of our house. The color consultation was really my wife and I looking at colors on the Sherwin-Williams website and picking out three that we thought we would like to go with. Green Mountain offered some color suggestions but we went a different route. Had we not got the colors right from the three we choose it would have been $8 per each new color sample. Fortunately Sherwin’s website is really good and we got it right the first time. Green Mountain did a good job with prep work and painting, I did have to point out a couple of things that were missed or needed to be touched up on the final inspection. They did a really nice job at an affordable price. They needed a couple of extra days to get it done but it was over a pretty hot week in June and we are not in a hurry which we told them upfront so it was not an issue for us at all.
