Dwight D. Eisenhower Visitors' Center

Have been going there since I was a small child. Remember being able to get a better closer look before 9/11 then they caged off alot of it. Still enjoy it every time. A ship passing through the Locks on a nice summer day is fun to hangout and watch.

I totally enjoyed watching the huge freightliners and Carrier ships passing through the lock. The employees were very knowledgeable about where they were coming from and going to. An all around Good Day!!

I'm biased, my Grandfather and my uncle worked on the Seaway, but watching the process of the locks operating to let a ship in is amazing to view. The gift shop is very nice and all the staff were very courteous. If you're in the area it's worth a stop.

So cool to see. And we were lucky to be there as a big ship came thru to use the lock. It's an amazing process..

We went there 35 years ago with our kids and now we took two of our granddaughters, even though we got wet from the rain still enjoyed it.

Great if you love those massive ships that cross the Great Lakes.

Great to learn how our locke system works. There will be a new visitor center in 2023 which will greatly improve the experience. If you wish to get to the campground on the other side of the lock just be aware the tunnel is 13‘6“ high. Worth the stop.

Fascinating to watch huge tankers squeeze through locks.

Interesting place to watch ships pass through the locks on the Saint Lawrence River. I wish they had slightly larger gaps in the fence of the viewing deck so my camera lens could fit through.
