Seriously, this place has THE best brunch around! It's always busy, and there is a reason for that. We met our college-aged daughter for her birthday and were not disappointed! The chicken and waffles are perfection (pictured below), along with the Billion Dollar Bacon and Cinnamon Monkey Bread for table starters. The entire menu looks great! We will be back to try some more.

Solid 4.5 stars out of 5 stars (rounded up to 5 stars).

Nice location, nice ambience. Service was good.
Food was good and tasty, more on the healthier side. I did not know, but they have a lot of vegan options.

I have the western omelette put the sausage gravy on top it was quite good. I also really like the gourmet hot chocolate and I asked them to put a little bit of sugar sprinkle on top of the whip cream.

Wait time today was about an hour for a party of five people and they do not take reservations. Didn’t love the weight but can’t be helped for such a good restaurant when so many people are waiting. I will need to check in advance next time prior to arriving.

Restaurant was clean and well maintained.

We definitely recommend, and will be back.

Alex my server was simply amazing, quick service and told us about the resident ducks that require feeding for breakfast and lunch :)
The food is always good here, I love all of their options of food. Gluten free to plant based. Omelet was awesome and alot of good food.

Their decorations are great as well I love the retro look and feel to the whole place.

My go to destination for brunch on any lazy sunday. From its warm and inviting ambience to its mouthwatering menu offerings this place has my heart! My personal favorite is Cappuccino with a dash of hazelnut and eggs benedict. My husband loves their range of omelettes and my kid absolutely relishes their french toasts and pancakes

Such a cute place with delicious food! 😍 Ordered an iced twilight latte and the pecan and banana french toast. I was speechless! Sooo yummy. Loved the many dietary options and substitutions. Very vegan, gluten sensitive, and lactose intolerant friendly. Cute restaurant with a 60's mid century modern vibe. Definitely worth a visit

We loved the environment of Anna’s House. It takes you back to grandma’s where we usually have our best memories. The food was great and the place was packed. Service was also pretty good but it took a little bit long, sometimes. Overall, It is an awesome place to have a breakfast or even brunch. Not expensive for what it provides.

Fun place. Great food. Service was close, but not perfect, a little show when things like syrup were requested.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Anne's House in Ann Arbor, and it was truly a delightful experience. This cozy little spot managed to capture the essence of cherished memories while offering a menu that catered perfectly to my family's preferences.

The confetti pancakes were an instant hit with the kids! The vibrant colors and playful sprinkles brought smiles to their faces, and the fluffy texture made each bite a joy. It was a wonderful way to start the day, reminiscent of the cheerful breakfasts we used to have at Denny's in Ann Arbor.

My personal favorite was the eggs Benedict. The perfectly poached eggs were nestled atop a savory English muffin, adorned with a velvety hollandaise sauce that was rich and flavorful. The combination of the runny yolk and the crispy bacon created a symphony of taste that I couldn't get enough of.

To complement our meal, we indulged in their fresh squeezed juices. The variety of choices allowed each member of our family to find something they loved. The refreshing burst of citrus flavors invigorated our taste buds and added a healthy touch to the meal.

One thing that truly stood out during our visit was the nostalgic ambiance created by the pressed leaves tea sit at the counter. It instantly transported me back to the days spent at Denny's Ann Arbor with my dad, fostering warm memories that I hold dear. It was a heartwarming touch that made the experience even more special.

The service was friendly and attentive, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making us feel right at home.

Overall, Anne's House in Ann Arbor is a gem that captures the essence of nostalgic breakfast memories while offering delicious food and a warm ambiance. Whether you're craving confetti pancakes that light up your kids' faces, a classic eggs Benedict, fresh squeezed juices, or simply a touch of sentimental nostalgia, this place is a must-visit. I highly recommend Anne's House for a delightful breakfast experience that will leave you with cherished memories.

Note: While Anne's House offers a reminiscent atmosphere, please be aware that it is not affiliated with Denny's.

I love Anna's house! I've had three of the gluten-free options on the menu. The baked oatmeal, the California dreamin avocado toast, and the cinnamon roll. They were all delicious.
At my last visit, I realized after leaving with carryout to take home that I had locked my keys in my car. The general manager replaced my food so that it would be hot when I took it home. It was very kind and generous of her to do that.
I love the decor at Anna's house. It is very warm, welcoming and cheery. I enjoy looking around at all of the vintage kitchen treasures.
I appreciate restaurants that accommodate the population that cannot eat gluten.

First time dining at Anna’s for brunch! I cannot wait to return! Our party of two was greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. I ordered the corned beef Benny and cinnamon roll. Everything was out of this world!! Already planning what I’m ordering on my next visit!

The service is actually amazing. When the place is packed it is still efficient and the food is served warm and as you wish. If something is wrong they correct the order in no time.

So what is this place? I would resume by simply saying it is an upscaled - hypster - dîner. And this should already be enough to convince you.

The atmosphere is fun and simple, the place is super clean, the tables are spaces to give you enough privacy. Everything is comfortable.

As for the food, you have the staples and many have a personal and unique twist (hint to M&Ms pancake!).
Probably, since Nick's stopped, the best place for waffle and pancake in a 30 miles radius.
Everything is tasty and made with enough quality to be good as expected - and in many case beyond. Making definitely an upgrade to the classic diner!

Is it expensive? For an upscaled hypster in Ann Arbor brunch place? It is actually not that far from a low key diner - so it is very fair. Especially considering that the serving are copious.

5* no question.

Always enjoy my experience at Anna’s. They have regular and creative selections, and the food has always been of good quality, and service excellent and environment pleasant and bathrooms clean.

I was pleased to see they had a high rating in the “Seed Oil Scout” app, see attached. Wonder if they could consider coconut oil as an option, too.

I was looking for feta cheese, turkey sausage and spinach….I know they for sure they didn’t have feta, which I found surprising.
I think they didn’t have another one of these foods but don’t remember which. Given their overall wonderful selection, was wondering why they didn’t have a few (what I consider) key portions available. Another suggestion.

I’d they never get them, it won’t stop me from going there. Just a few thoughts for their management.

Bottom line is that I highly recommend Anna’s.

Visiting from Atlanta and was absolutely delighted with my visit. My waiter was JACOB aka my new bestie!!! Talk about AMAZING, OUTSTANDING customer service, anticipating needs and SUPER FREAKIN FAST SERVICE!!! He had EXTENSIVE MENU KNOWLEDGE and was able to suggest items and substitutions. We had a GLUTEN ALLERGY IN our party and she was SOOOOO EXCITED TO HAVE FRENCH TOAST and the option of pancakes and more. Once again, service, AMAZING. Food, DELICIOUS (salsa, FRESH AND MADE IN HOUSE)!!! Atmosphere and ambiance, bright yet cozy and comforting.

Hubby and I came here for an early morning breakfast the day after JJ's debut game at Michigan Stadium! After a long night, we needed to refuel and Anna's House was just the refreshment we needed! When we arrived we were warmly greeted and immediately seated (2 indications that it was going to be a great experience) ;-)

We started off with their Hand-crafted Caramel Vanilla Latte, which was sooooo yummy! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive to what we needed. What I loved most about Anna's House is that almost everything on their menu is locally grown and locally made so I knew we could trust the quality of freshness and deliciousness and boy did they deliver!!!

We had the Western Omelette with a side of Cinnamon Rolls! Do NOT skip the Cinnamon Rolls, it will probably be one of the BEST you've ever tasted! We also had the Anna's Skillet and Twilight French Toast, which were all fabulous and tasty! The portions here are big so make sure you come hungry or you'll likely be taking some home!

Overall, Anna's House was such a great Farm to Table food experience, that every time we're in Ann Arbor, we will surely be visiting every morning for Breakfast!

Great selection of food, very unique and tasty. Service was great, food delivered promptly even though it was busy. Wish you would get some better to go boxes, but that is not a reflection of your food or service :) everything else was fantastic.

My fiancé and I took a weekend getaway to Ann Arbor and stayed close to Anna’s house. Our hotel didn’t offer breakfast for free so we chose this place and IM GLAD WE DID !! Omg you walk in and it’s like walking in to a magazine or a cool diner but upscale but not upscale price!! It makes you feel like someone that used to be a hippie or a cool somebody owns it that kind of feel. Lots to look at . I got the hippie hash (100 out of 100) my fiancé got the omlette and biscuits and gravy 100 out of 100 we started with there cinnamon roll omg the BEST IVE EVER HAD please ship me some to ohio lol! If you are in Ann Arbor come here no matter what and our server was amazing! I can’t remember his name but he was a younger man very cool and was super nice !!

The ambience is fantastic, there are little places to sit if you want some privacy and larger areas to congregate. However, if you're looking quiet, this is not the restaurant to travel to as it seems like it's perpetually busy. Being that the food aesthetic was spectacular and the ingredients' quality top-notch, it's no wonder many people frequent this local gem. That said, the balsamic scrambled egg dish I chose would have been the best ever had it not included balsamic - the flavors just didn't complement one another in a way that was palette-friendly. Guess I'll have to go back to try something else on the menu!

Loaded tater tot bites are perfect. The dipping sauce, a warm poblano hollandaise makes them out of this world. The only problem is I always have to ask for more sauce.
