Vango's Pizza & Cocktail Lounge

We got a Greek pizza and added sausage and it was phenomenal!!! We also had their waffle fries with their homemade ranch and it was cooked with a perfect golden crisp and the ranch was definitely 1 of my favorite I've ever tried!! We also tried the baklava and again, amazing!!! Came all the way from Metro Detroit for our honeymoon to Marquette and very happy we came here!!

Everything was delicious. We had bread sticks and Greek Pizza. Great flavor and warm atmosphere. Friendly staff. We look forward to coming back and trying more amazing food.

To my surprise this restaurant does offer veggie pizza and other veggie options as well. My friends and I were looking for a good option for both non vegetarian and vegetarian food restaurant and we found out this on google maps. We really like the ambience and food options this restaurant serves. Restaurant employees are very friendly and welcoming. The service is fast and up to the mark. We would definitely recommend waffle fries they offer. They nice crispy and tasty. Breadsticks and pizza are flavorsome. Breadsticks are stuffed with mozzarella cheese. Along with Pizza they also offer gyros, burgers, soup and salad. I would surely recommend this restaurant whoever visit Upper Peninsula.

First time, recommended by a local. Had the gyro and waffle fries. The gyro was seasoned well and the the waffle fries were delicious with creamy ranch. I liked how the root beer came in a bottle nice touch.

We saw this restaurant featured on TV 6 so we decided to try it. I had a classic gyro, he had a chicken gyro. Very good. We will definitely be back when we are in the Marquette area.

Ordered out for pickup. Parked in back at their designated takeout spot. Employee delivered to my vehicle within 5 minutes. Had 5 separate orders. Everything was there, hot and delicious. Great place to dine in with family too.

We had a larger group come in towards the end of the evening and they got us seated quickly. Mostly we got a variety of pizzas and they went quickly. Loved the Greek pizza and am trying to figure out how to order it at some local places as a build your own. The taco pizza was a good choice as well. Will definitely be back.

I am a korean boy 12year old and visited marquette in 2015, 2017,2019, and 2023. I was 4 when I first tried vango's food. I went to vangos all the time when I came here, and it was very good all the time! I think the chef is better than gordon ramsey! The waffle fries are so crunchy, and the pizzas are so good! 👍 😋Food that you should try at least once in your life!

Vango's is one of my all time favorite Marquette, MI eateries and has been since the mid 90s during my undergrad days. The cudighi sandwiches, pizza, and other dishes are so good. Try some of the gyros or other Greek offerings. But if you only get one thing, but sure to try the waffles fries with their creamy ranch dressing. It's not just any old ranch dressing; it's pure deliciousness. Whenever I visit Marquette, this is one of my go-to stops.

Pizza was great! Staff was amazing and all had constant smiles on their faces. It was rather refreshing!

Alhamdulillah, had the mozarella sticks and the gourmet pizza, and both were bangers.

For any Muslims around just ask what ingredients don't have beer or fried separately from the meat, but other than that it's really good.

We were looking for food around 9pm and pretty much everything was closed. But, then we found this place that was open until 10. Our server was very friendly. The food was very good. I especially enjoyed the cheeseburger. Also, their menu has great variety! I highly recommend this place.

Picked up corn beef meal for my mom on St Patrick's day. She loved it, service was great.

Delicious food and received fast. Service was great. Wide variety on the menu. Though the be says Pizza & Cocktails their menu is much deeper. When we were there I actually did see any pizzas, people were ordering other things. Will definitely like to revisit to try other things next time I am in town.

Been going here since I was like 6. Cudaghi is awesome. My kids loved the pizza. So cheesy. Friendly staff. Food comes quick. Also really like the nachos. Come here every time I visit the UP.

Girl’s Day Out Dinner was fantastic! The personal pizza was the perfect size for 1/2 at dinner and 1/2 later as a snack. The crust was crunchy and soft. The perfect amount of topping to make every bite flavorful.

The vibe was similar to the Tower Inn in Ypsilanti, Michigan in the mid 80’s. Greek, family, and friendly.

The only “tip” would be if you are planning on outdoor dining ask which one—one faves the parking lot and one is tucked into the side with lots of plants and privacy.
