They have a great variety. Pretty amazing how small the store is BUT how many items are inside.

We love to learn new cuisine cooking . Finding all these different ingredients can be a challenge. Then things changed. We found "International Grocery" in Carbondale Illinois. There is a vast selection of everything needed to help make your next asian meal a success. Spices, fish, rice, noodles, pita, the list truly goes on and on. The staff are very helpful and keep everything neat and clean. I have been shopping here for many years. Come see for yourself.
You just may leave with a full cart and a big smile.

Great variety. Friendly. Always helpful workers. I purchase rice flour here I cant find anywhere else and coffee crisp chocolates I can only find in St. Louis or Canada. Highly recommend.

If you want to travel without leaving Carbondale, I suggest visiting the International Grocery in the Murdale shopping center. They have food and drinks from all over the world. From aisles of spices and sauces, to shelves of different types of noodles, to frozen seafood, and of course snacks and treats from around the world, you can get everything here. Every time we stop in I try a new drink or snack that they have available. It is a must for any food lover and home cook!

My favorite grocer in Carbondale ! Every special ingredient was found there. My favorite foods to make are Asian, Indian and Mexican. Being European, it was quite a challenge but a great journey thanks to the great couple and their help ! I will certainly miss their smiles 💕

I absolutely love this store! It is a bit tight in there. I always find new goodies to try and the staff are always friendly and helpful! Definitely a hidden jem. I wish they were in Marion but they are worth the drive.

To the daughter of the store owners, thank you and your family for helping provide these goods over the years. we travel for over an hour monthly to make a trip just to your store. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and again thanks for everything your family have provided to our communities.

Great place. The aisles are very narrow and they don't take EBT but otherwise you can find almost anything. Best prices for spices anywhere.

This market is in Murdale Plaza. The cashier is friendly and the staff is knowledgeable. The aisles are narrow and the shelves are well stocked. The inventory isn't always the same every time I've visited but I never leave empty-handed.

You can get so many things here from other places for such a great price!! I went there today and got Chocolate from serbia, lays chips from India, lays chips from Thailand, candy from Japan, noodles from Indonesia, noodles from Thailand, drinks from China, noodles from the Philippines, tofu, and icy pops from china all for 13$ it's amazing what'd you find there. All the workers are really helpful if you need anything and this is probably the best place in town to buy spices and such as well - check it out sometime !!

I love that they have so many unique items that I can't get anywhere else. They would really be doing themselves a favor if they accepted SNAP benefits. I saw a couple customers leave because that's how they pay for groceries. Kinda sad actually. But it was good for me. I love their Turkish coffee and Thai teas and drinks.

Used to work in Carbondale for a year the Asian especially Malaysian and Indonesian community as well as the muslim community are blessed with the only grocery store that provides our needs in the old little town Carbondale. Just heard about the news that the husband and wife owner passed away due to car accident my deepest condolences to the family. Hopefully, the family will be able to resume the legacy of Gemma and Li Habibullah. Rest in peace Pak Cik and wife how I call him in Malay whenever I shop there.

If you are looking for authentic ingredients for Vietnamese, Thai and other dishes, this is the place you want to stop. We were able to find everything all the fresh and dry ingredients needed to make authentic Beef Pho and Chicken Fa. The staff here are very friendly and willing to help you find what you are looking for. On our first visit, they were out of fresh cilantro, but that is to be expected. The only complaints I have is the store is extremely small and crowded. Also, be prepared to carry a basket or two baskets. They do not have shopping carts in this market. The aisles are not wide enough for carts. The aisles are barely wide enough for two people to walk past each other. Even with those complaints, I still recommend this place highly, because they fit everything you could ever need into that little market.

I LOVE THIS STORE! I have to travel about an hour just to get there but it is so worth it. There is such a variety of foods and spices from all over the world. The staff are friendly and remember you if you come in regularly. It's an awesome place!

The owner is super friendly! Great selection of groceries that are all reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

I absolutely love this place. Such amazing selection. I always go in there to try something new & always find something. The staff are so sweet & friendly. I could shop for hours there. Prices are also super affordable. Cute little place!

This is the place to go for a Southern Illinois Redneck who would like to expand his or her culinary experience. Yes, there are things in the store that look like something super crazy to eat but with a little help from the internet you can follow a recipe to make a delicious dish if you are not a complete idiot.

My only complaint is that they try to stuff an entire supermarket's worth of products into such a tiny little space. The aisles aren't wide enough to fit more than 1 person, so I always feel like I'm getting in everyone's way when I stop to look for something.

We love this place so much. It's great for getting unusual ingredients that are otherwise hard to find. As its name implies, they have stuff from all over the world. It's also a great place to just explore. Wander the aisles and discover new things. You're guaranteed to find something you want to try! I get unique snacks there all the time. They also have a great selection of chocolates, and the spice selection is wonderful! They're also really nice and helpful and inexpensive.
