We have 2 children at Tiger Rock, and they love it! Mr. Blackburn is a wonderful instructor! Mr. Blackburn is great with the kids, and he is helping to teach my daughters discipline, respect, agility, and of course martial arts. I have 2 children enrolled in the youth classes at Tiger Rock. I have been so excited and proud to watch them grow in their skills and confidences. Luke Blackburn is a great instructor who gives his all with the kids to help them achieve their goals and grow as the level up. I have been very pleased with our experiences with Tiger Rock South and Luke Blackburn. I look forward to seeing my kids growing and maturing in their skills and all they will accomplish in the future! Proud Tiger Rock Mom!

I have two boys, age 9 and 11 attending Blackburn’s Tiger-rock since September 2018.
Mr. Blackburn’s is a very skilled, energetic and passionate instructor.
He not only teaches martial art skills but also includes variety of activities and exercise in his class to build kids’ agility and flexibility skills.
I am very happy to see how my boys are improving in their physical skills and also mental growth.

My daughter has been a student at Luke Blackburn’s Tiger Rock school for a year and it has been THE most amazing experience that goes far beyond just the martial art! Luke is such a caring teacher and understands and can communicate such intricate detail about form but is also such an inspiring role model to the kids. I love how he involves older kids into the Leadership program to help train and reinforce on other levels which builds such an amazing community. Class is never stagnant and tournaments are a blast! This has given my daughter purpose and such a sense of accomplishment. We’d love to welcome your kids into the Tiger Rock family!

Our son has attended Mr. Blackburn’s school for 2.5 years now. It is the one activity that he has stuck with and really enjoys working at. Luke Blackburn has had such a positive influence on our 6th grader by promoting focus, hard work and accountability which has resulted in a much higher level of self confidence. I would highly recommend Blackburn’s Tiger Rock to anyone with children looking for a year-round indoor activity that has a lot of schedule flexibility.

My son has ASD1 and this place has changed our lives. I have always worried and stressed on putting him in an extracurricular activity because not everyone understands. They worked with me to get him comfortable and then he just fit perfectly. The employees and Mr. Blackburn are absolutely wonderful. I’m so glad we went with them instead of Alexander Martial Arts. This is the place for you if your looking to learn taekwondo, adult or child. Also, the prices are reasonable! That is a huge plus! Lol.

We have been going to Luke Blackburn’s Tiger Rock in South Huntsville for over a year and love it. Luke is an exceptional instructor and mentor teaching the students so much more than awesome martial arts. He has an upstanding moral ethic and that flows into the classes very well. We would recommend his academy to anyone looking to learn not only martial arts but integrity, discipline, commitment and an overall sense of fun.

Luke Blackburn is a very passionate and talented teacher. I am a TR parent and in just one year I have watched my kids learn self discipline and mature as leaders. It's an investment in their future which will last a lifetime. I would absolutely recommend this school for any parent who wants their child to excel in martial arts .

This is a great martial arts studio. My son started a year ago as a cub and is now in the junior class. All the classes are great and amazing to watch. The students truly love and respect Mr. Blackburn. Once class begins, every student is focused and ready to learn. Each class has a good balance of learning and fun activities to keep the students engaged from beginning to end. I never had to drag my son to attend class. He's always excited to go.

My son has been going to Luke Blackburn's Tiger Rock for about 2 years now and we love it. We actually checked out a couple of other martial arts places but came to Tiger Rock because of Luke. He loves what he does and it shows. Luke is great with the kids and he is helping to teach my son discipline, respect, agility, balance, and of course martial arts.

Awesome place! My 5 year old daughter began a little over a year ago and has learned so much! Mr. Blackburn is great with the kids! No matter what the ages! I also have recently joined along with my daughter. Great fitness and an excellent instructor to lead me on my journey to black belt!

I was transferred here after I got black belt in another state. I was already hooked on karate so I kept doing it. Very straight forward fighting. The teachers are very talented and friendly. The schedule is flexible and you can go to as many or few classes you want each week.

An awesome instructor that provides a great environment for kids. I have kids in three different age groups and all of them are engaged and love the classes! I highly recommend this school for kids that are interested in learning martial arts.
