Jim n Nicks has a decent menu and I believe they stay within their wheelhouse of what they can do well. The salads are fresh prepared and the various smoked meats are always good. I’ve heard the wings are good but have never had them.

The bartender Jason was super friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and organized.

We had the ribs and loaded baked potato both were plentiful and service was super fast. Isabelle kept our glasses full and did a great job on keeping us happy.

Update July 2022 - We sat at the bar and had a good lunch. Pig in the garden is always good. Service and food was good. Staff very friendly as usual.

Update Oct 2023 - We visit at lease once a month and sit at the bar where Jason the best bartender takes care of us. I finally tried the wings and while they tasted good (honey habanero)
they didn't have the heat a chili head like myself likes On the negative side a couple of them were a touch undercooked. Def do not want to see pink inside a chicken wing. Ordered as crispy I assume they just missed that.

I’ll definitely be going back.

I hardly ever leave reviews but this time I just HAVE to. It was my first time trying Jim n Nicks and it was absolutely incredible. The pulled pork was so tender and savory. The Mac and cheese was top tier and the cheese biscuits were amazing! I’m so glad I ordered a side order of biscuits to take home!

I’ve dined in a few times. I order through the drive through regularly because the little piggies meals are SO good and priced unbelievably low. You get a regular sized side item (Mac n chz, greens, baked beans, more) and a regular sized drink with the little piggies meal and it’s like $4, it’s more than a bang for your Buck! They have grilled cheese, pork sliders and more options in that menu) if I’m correct this is only offered at this price for drive thru or takeout, dine in usually doesn’t offer little piggies at this price- unless they’ve changed the policy. If that I’m. It completely sure. It’s worth a trip around the drive thru to pick up a few of these if you’re looking for a great meal on a budget. Recently we ordered a family pack online and picked it up. You must pull into a spot and check in, you don’t go through the drive through to pick up with the online ordering option. Our food was great and everyone was pleased. We ordered the brisket cut in slices not chopped. The slices hold the flavor in my opinion. You can choose less or more marbling. I chose the more lean option and it was tasty. We of course ordered the Mac n cheese for a side. No one and I mean no one will beat the Mac n chz at Jim n Nicks. I don’t even eat it unless it’s mine usually, but theirs is SO good! Check out my YouTube video for a full review of just the Mac N Chz compared to another national brand. Shenanigans with Shannon is my channel. We also got baked beans and those amazing little cheese biscuits which we can never get enough of. The white sauce is really good here as well! The sweet tea is good and they have root beer. Always a pleasure to have this for a meal.

This was an initial visit to this Jim 'N Nick's. I have eaten at a number of their other locations so I do have a basis for comparison.

The food and service at this location was excellent.

Our server, Melanie, greeted us with a big smile. That is a small thing but it does make a difference. We were tired from walking, it was hot outside, and a friendly greeting from a pleasant person shortly after we walked in was a pleasant occurrence.

And, as it turns out, the service throughout the meal was outstanding. She ensured our glasses of water or iced tea were refilled consistently, inquired if our order arrived as it should, if we needed anything else and even volunteered to provide iced tea to go. No doubt, a server with this enthusiasm and a friendly nature is a big asset to any business that serves the public.

The food was excellent.

The cheese biscuits were our initial introduction to the restaurant. They were cooked to perfect. The biscuits in this chain are often overdone and dry as a result. These were not overdone. We ate all six of the biscuits as they were so tasty.

I ordered BBQ pork with a potato. I have had this dish on numerous occasions. The potato in this case was the biggest potato I have ever seen. It was filled with the BBQ pork I had ordered and the meat was cooked perfectly. It was moist and had plenty of flavor. I could not eat the entire potato at one seating. The salad ordered by another person in our party was fresh, made up exactly as ordered, and also a very large portion. The lettuce and vegetables were fresh and crunchy as they should be.

My other dining companion ordered a BBQ pork sandwich with onion rings. As with the potato, the meat was perfect. Moreover, the onion rings were served with a light brown breading, a large onion inside, and apparently had a great taste.

So, a first visit to this Jim 'N Nicks was outstanding. Our thanks to the entire staff here, and especially to the person we interacted with the most during the meal, Melanie, for contributing to making this visit so pleasant.

Jason our waiter was great. Created us with a smile. Very helpful. That BBQ ranch dressing for my fries was great. This was my first time at this location. I will be back.

Stopped in at the recommendation of family. Did not disappoint! Jason did a great job taking caring of us. Pulled pork is delicious! Must get bacon on anything you order!😋🤤

First, Janey, the server, was fantastic. Very attentive, made good recommendations, and has a sense of humor.

Words to describe the food: rich, moist, and flavorful. I ordered the quarter chicken plate with baked beans and potato salad. The chicken was moist and flavorful and I enjoyed the spice and depth of flavor of the red mop sauce. It is not a thick sauce but rather a thin flavorful sauce fully flavored and mildly spicy. Just like my grandfather used to make. The beans were rich and thick with a hearty smoky flavor. The potato salad was chunky and perfectly seasoned. Overall, an outstanding lunch and I will stop again on my next trip through.

Stopped by this BBQ spot while passing through town and man, it was a good call! The food was amazing—so flavorful and the folks working there couldn’t have been nicer. Yeah, the place looks a bit old and could use a little sprucing up, but who cares when the food is this good? Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town and craving some top-notch BBQ.

Amazing food, you can get anything and it will be good. What's even more amazing is the customer service. They are always so attentive. Lara and her team are the best!

We love their smoked chicken salad with their homemade ranch and of course those yummy biscuits. Our server, Jason took excellent care of us and made our lunch experience wonderful.

I love the chedder biscuits they serve before the meal. Their tea is great and their barbecue is delicious!

If I'm craving a burger, Jim'n Nick's is the first place I go to. I got the southern burger without the BBQ sauce and it was cooked perfectly. I ordered the mac'n cheese for my side. I've ordered the same thing at the Huntsville store and was not satisfied with the taste of my food, but the Cullman store always delivers. It did not take long to get my good and the lady who helped me in the drive-thru was very kind. I see myself going back soon in the nearby future.

We always have family get togethers, parties, etc. at Cullman JNN. The service and food are ALWAYS phenomenal. The new dining room manager, Lara, always goes above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. We always request Jason as our server if he's there! The staff are always laughing and smiling, always seem like they are having a fun time and are happy to be there. JNN Cullman is our go-to place for a hot, delicious meal in a fun, family friendly environment!

Jason the bartender served me, and it was an extremely pleasant experience. Recommend the turkey sandwich which was awesome and talked to me like we've been friends for years. Would definitely recommend this place and will be stopping by again if I pass through town.

Wait staff here is top notch! The food is delicious too but having a great server really helps seal the deal. The food also comes out quickly and is hot and fresh and you can't forget the cheese biscuits. Go ahead and ask for a second basket, you take one bight of then and next thing you know you've eaten 4 of them 😆 I will say if your a brisket fan you might not order it from here, the last plate I had was a little lean and dry but I normally get the pulled pork plate anyways. Price is also really good for the quality of food. Our family of 3 can get in and out with a tip for under $40 they also have a survey on the receipt that saves you a couple bucks as well.

Ordered through DoorDash. Hadn’t had Jim & Nick’s since moving back to Alabama. It’s as good as I remember. Ate on the ribs for two days & can’t get enough of the sweet muffins. Our order was correct and food was warm.

Jason is the best server. I've had him the last two times we have come in and he is always cheerful and wonderful.

Excellent dining experience with fantastic staff who are friendly and cheerful. The food is of high quality and reasonably priced.

The service was awesome!! Food was hot and came quickly. It was so yummy!!! Love their banana pudding!!!
