Easy to find the things you want at affordable prices and it's pretty much a smaller version of wal mart where you can find almost whatever it is you need

This is one of the cleanest, most well-maintained stores I've ever been in, everything was meticulously stocked, and placed with near surgical precision. The staff conducted themselves as though part of an orchestrated symphony. This is undoubtedly the best managed Dollar General in the state of Alabama. This is the Pinnacle of convenience store etiquette, and the absolute bar of which all stores should hope to achieve. A sheer testament to leadership, and teamwork.

I stopped in to shop for a few things for one of my doordash orders, unfortunately they were out of one item I needed but were more than happy to go check their stock and see if they had any that hadn't been put out yet.

It's very convenient I think it's taken over the convenience store cuz they got everything you need and it's a great place to shop very friendly people very clean bathrooms always clean

Very friendly people who actually talk with you as they ring you up. People on the floor do not mind helping you to find something. They walk you to it!!
Their Clover Valley Brand is good which surprised me. I am not huge on off brand/store brand items. The store is clean and organized. It does have a few minor issues but not any big problems. I love that they gave an ashtray at the door so that people don't throw cigarettes down all over the grown and then walk them in.
One complaint... The bagging. Having worked at grocery stores before and being a shopper I detest my chemicals to be bagged with food and those little plastic bags don't hold as much as some try to cram in them. The boxed foods are bad to cut the bags so that is something to watch for. You need to look at each customer and ask yourself if they can really carry a 10 pound bag. Double bagging some things is also great for the heavier bags. The worst pain ever is to get out to the parking lot or to get home and a bag of cans fall out and crash down on your foot😫 I do try to bag my own stuff but at these store where the bags are on the wheel it makes it hard. I also bring in my own bag but sometimes I get more than I meant to. Oh, and never out meat in with other groceries. Especially baby items. I line my stuff up in the belt to try to help but sometimes in All the hurry meat is bagged with some crazy things. I am seriously not trying to nit pick but i guess from having so many bags burst, milk jugs burst, and toes cracked that is really a huge deal to me. I also always tried to imagine that parent in line who has to go home and possibly unload all of that alone. That or any elderly person. I had surgery and had to go back and bag things different a few months ago. I just always bagged things how i would want then bagged.
I know the groceries don't seem like much to us after standing there lifting them day after day but they become quite heavy as a load.
This isn't just here. Really, I guess I am just giving some much unwanted advice probably.
This store is great though. Everyone is great. It is clean, they have great sales, and they really try to help their customers save money any way that they can.

Shop almost daily at Berlin location and like selection but unhappy with the fact that popular items not restocked in a timely manner. It takes several weeks or months to restock and very frustrating.

Great store awesome staff alway fast and very friendly some of the other Dollar generals need to send thier staff to this store to learn their jobs

I love this location. The employees are always kind and the merchandise is always up to date and stocked. And as always the prices and variety are a pleasure to browse

They have a wider assortment than the other local DG stores. Always clean, isles clear and we'll staffed.
