Duck River West Trail and Boat Ramp

Such a nice lake.....two different boat launches at this lake.....one is small the other is larger and located at the dam......bike/ hiking trail around lake

The water is down around 8 or 10 feet at this point in early September due to lack or rain. The fishing ramp is still open though. For some reason the Duck River West Trailhead and Boat Ramp location dropped off Google maps during the pandemic. The "East" trailhead is across the lake and is still included. Google maps has not been updated to show the lake over the old county roads in the area before the lake was completed. It helps to have this location to get the most direct route when searching for directions if you want to avoid driving in from the south by the dam. This location has a very good boat ramp and composting toilet facilities

BEAUTIFUL and quiet. Grew up here but there wasn't a lake. My kids enjoy kayaking and the trail.

It's a beautiful area lots of fish no jet ski traffic allowed and just beautiful area

Great place to launch boat in the water. Launch pad nice and wide. Nice dock to load and unload people in the boat. Nice parking area with 2 handicap spots for boat and trailer. Public bathroom that's well mantained. Gravel road but well maintained the times we have visited.
