The Craftsbury Farmhouse

We enjoyed two nights in the king suite; unfortunately, we were there during a snowstorm and on days when the cafe and restaurant were not open, so we didn’t get to explore the other amenities of the property as much as we would have liked. The property isn’t hard to find but is quiet and feels quite rustic. The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and very tidy, with lots of cozy touches and conveniences that would make a longer stay very comfortable. The owners were very responsive before and during our stay. It is clear that they have put lots of energy and heart into the property and it was a pleasure getting to stay here and explore the Craftsbury corner of the Northeast Kingdom!

My husband and I stayed here last night ! We were on our way back to New York and were so happy with our stay! It is so quaint and we wish we got there before the restaurant on their premise closed! We really wanted to try the craft cocktails and food! We stayed in the "glamping" tent (which is dog friendly!) It was a little cold which is not their fault it was the temperature outside. I wanted to keep the heater on all night but my husband was being weird about the propane heater creating condensation and making everything cold and wet. So his recommendation is to invest in a diesel heater which creates a dry heat and no fumes. But it was a very comfortable bed! Loved the canvas tent! I want to come back again when it's warmer. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and welcoming! Awesome latte in the morning and acai bowl! We love organic ingridients and they had a lot of organic local farm fresh ingredients as well as local small business items in their gift shop! We will definitely be back again in the spring ! Awesome property and location! Keep up the fantastic work!

Perfect location in the beautiful town of craftsbury, stayed in the king suite which was super clean and spacious but still cozy, enough to want to keep you indoors, when outside is where it's at, fresh air, stunning scenery, great people and delicious food.

very idyllic, rustic, and charming. Jessie, one of the owners was very welcoming and accommodating. The area is one of the most beautiful I have been to in the US. The food at the bistro was excellent. One night, I got a sandwich which came with fries. I asked for sweet potato fries but they gave me regular fries. Instead of taking the regular fries away, they gave me sweet potato fries in addition to the regular fries. Wow! The compostable cups that they use at the coffee shop are a nice idea, but the coffee leaks through the cup if you leave it for too long. Sometimes, being environmentally friendly comes with the cost of convenience, but I'm happy to make that sacrifice.
The room was spacious and the bathroom was super nice. Amazing experience

This is a beautiful place to stay. Quiet and peaceful. Very restorative after a long drive. We loved our room and had a delicious dinner at the restaurant on site. Nice walk to the general store down the road. We hope to return next summer.

I had a delightful stay in the two bedroom suite while I was working for a few days in a nearby town. Everything was clean and comfy. I enjoyed the hot tub after work each day. When the bistro was open, I could hear music/talking in the room, but the room description clearly stated that would happen. I had earplugs that I typically sleep with when traveling and it was perfectly fine. The grounds were gorgeous. I would definitely stay again.

You can't beat this beautiful B&B, nestled in the hills of northeast Vermont, with a babbling brook, comfortable outdoor seating and hot tub just steps from the door. The onsite Cafe is NOT to be missed for frothy steaming morning coffee and breakfast bowls, not to mention delicious savory offerings at lunch. Our two-room suite would have easily accommodated another couple, and we enjoyed the extra space as a comfy day room with light 'kitchen' facilities, fridge and kettle for snacking and coffee. What great value for such a high-end experience. We love the Craftsbury community and nearby amenities, conveniences and boutique markets, all located within a short drive. It is rural but close to everything you need. Thank you Craftsbury Farmhouse! :)

Beautiful location. The drive there is stunning, more so than other regions of Vermont. The farmhouse itself is fantastic. Check in was super easy, and the owners are quick to answer emails/questions.
The room was fantastic, one of the most comfortable beds i’ve ever slept in. The restaurant downstairs isnt just convenient, it’s fantastic. Location is super close to other fantastic locationd like Hill Farmstead, Parker Pie, Lake Willoughby, Jasper Hill Farm among many others. Will be returning!

We stayed in the King Suite for a women's getaway and could not have picked a more perfect place! The room was plenty big enough for 3 people. Beds were so comfortable - even the day/trundle bed. The space was cozy, clean, tasteful with many nice touches. The pictures and description are completely accurate. The price was very reasonable for the amenities.
We had wonderful massages at the wellness center next door, a relaxing soak in the hot tub, and a delicious meal at the Bistro. We would not have changed a thing! Can't wait to come back again. It would be a great place to stay in every season of the year.
The only hint I would add to travelers is to be sure to bring the key code with you when you leave the room. We almost were locked out after our hot tub soak (standing outside in our suits in the winter, without our phones or car keys!) ... when synchronicity struck and the owners' mother happened to walk by right at that moment :)

We LOVED our stay at the Craftsbury Farmhouse! The suite was sparkling clean, adorable, and comfortable. This was one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed. The hot tub was so enjoyable. My husband and I had two of the best burgers we have ever eaten from the bistro downstairs, which was so convenient! I also booked a massage downstairs at the wellness center which was great. The farmhouse is close to the craftsbury outdoor center, where we spent a day skiing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the Queen bedroom suite and had a great experience, really beautifully decorated with lots of little conveniences (coffee, kettle, French press, wine glasses, etc). The adjoining restaurant was very good as well and the owners shared great tips for delicious restaurants in the area. Perfect base if you're heading to Craftsbury for cross country skiing!

I absolutely loved my time at the Craftsbury Farmhouse. I went on a solo retreat and it was just perfect. It was quiet and peaceful and had so many nice touches. I am very impressed and will definitely return for future stays. Having the wellness center on-site was wonderful, as well as the restaurant. I highly recommend!

Great weekend getaway in March 2021 for my wife and I. The Farmhouse was quaint,clean and comfortable. The food from Blackbird Bistro was tasty and convenient. An easy short drive to the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. And the hot tub for our personal use was delightful. The only negative was the music from the downstairs bistro wafting into our space. Overall a very nice relaxing weekend at the Farmhouse.Would stay again for ski weekend.

We had a fantastic time at The Craftsbury Farmhouse. We stayed in the King Suite which was spacious yet super cozy. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. My wife tells me the massage was amazing. Beautiful spot.

The Craftsbury farmhouse has a rare combo of cozy B&B feel AND modern amenities. The room was comfortable spacious, and it was awesome to go relax in the hot-tub set among the wood rafters.

Great place to stay for outdoor activities - the suite is amazing! The farmhouse is a short drive from Craftsbury Outdoor Center and Hardwick Trails, plus it is conveniently next to the bistro and wellness center. The suite was clean, very homey and had most basic needs and then some (dishes, fridge, microwave, coffee, tea, even shampoo!). I would recommend bringing some extra dishes/silverware as there was only one of a few things and the stove took us a little bit of time to figure out - but the hosts were quick to help via text and once we got it figure out the room was very cozy! This is a great place for those looking to stay somewhere nicer than a hotel room without breaking the bank.

Great place to stay when skiing at Craftsbury Outdoor Centre. Perfect for a family as we need the extra room for our teenager. The Bistro was fantastic. Only issue, US IPAS have way higher alcohol content than Canadian :). It was a very fun night, maybe too fun.

A unique experience. We stayed in the glamming tent. I wish I could have gotten a picture of sitting on top the hill at night with the stars all around but it just doesn’t do justice. Such a cool idea with access to a bathroom, shower, hot tub and sauna. The food was great at the restaurant and we met one of the owners while eating. Overall a great stay! Would recommend! This was such a great and unique getaway! We drove in from Brooklyn, NY to this refreshing lace and had a beautiful time. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We loved the bar and Lee and all the staff were was so sweet and inviting. We would love to visit again one day.

Great spot to get away. The hot tub and sauna were refreshing. Area was very clean and well maintained. The bistro was delicious and having massages on site was perfect for a relax and recharge weekend!
