Up North Canoe and Kayak Rentals

Extremely convenient process and at an amazing price that includes paddles and vests as well, Up North is hard to beat!Called early in the morning about a tandem kayak rental, and they were able to get it delivered to the Green River Reservoir in under 30 minutes.

Next time I'm in need of a rental, I will definitely be using Up North.

I agree with one of the other reviewer‘s who said using Up North is a “no-brainer.“ Derek was super friendly & helpful, we wanted to check out the kayaks before we went to make sure we would be comfortable as we are somewhat inexperienced. We went by his place and chose our preferred boats. They were dropped off at Green River Reservoir and waiting for us when we arrived. We just left them where we found them when we were done. Couldn’t have been easier. Great service, great prices, and even though not one thing went wrong, we were comforted to know if we needed to change out a boat, a paddle, or anything, they are just up the road from Green River State Park so would’ve been able to accommodate any issues. Also we booked last minute both times and they were able to accommodate. Green river reservoir state park is absolutely beautiful and we highly recommend Up North to get you paddling there or any place else!

I've used these folks at least once in each of the past three years. They are reliable, have good stuff, and make the whole process super easy! Just so great to walk to the water access point, climb in the canoe, and go. I wish everyone I dealt with was as competent and professional as Up North.

Needed kayaks last minute for a multiday trip on the Androscoggin.
They were very friendly and able to help us out with all the gear we needed. Pick up and drop off was super easy too!

This place is an absolute no-brainer. They dropped off a canoe, PFDs, paddles at green river reservoir, all waiting for us when we got there. Had an awesome paddle, put the canoe back where we found it and texted them when we were done. So impressed with how easy they make it. Really friendly and easy. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a last minute canoe rental while visiting family in Vermont. These folks were able to accommodate us, deliver the canoe and pick it up. It was reasonably priced, convenient, and we had a wonderful time on Green River Reservoir. Highly recommend this company.

We needed a canoe, paddles, PFDs and dry bags for a camping trip at Green River Reservoir. Up North was affordable, flexible, gave helpful advice and was conveniently close to our put in. It just took a phone call to reserve our equipment and the pick up/drop off was super quick. I'd use them again!

This is the second time we have used Up North and were super impressed both times. Very easy to book online, they get back to you quickly via text and/or email and have everything set up on the spot for you. If you want to talk to someone in person, you can do that too. Price is also good, especially in comparison with some of the other outfits around. Highly recommend....

Excellent outfitters and reasonably priced. I rented two canoes for a weekend on the Green River Reservoir - both were waiting at the put-in in excellent condition, with paddles and pfds. Definitely would recommend!
