Crescendo Espresso Bar

This is my go-to coffee shop to do any work that I have to get done. As a law student, I have so much work to do and very little energy to do it. Crescendo has amazing drinks and food, the staff is so friendly and kind, and it has a fantastic atmosphere that I can spend hours in. I often will visit to sit and work for hours, and the staff has no problem. I LOVE this place!

Crescendo is fantastic. Their Monroe location was one of my favorite coffee shops in town and I miss the warmth and coziness of that space, but it’s nice to be able to still get their espresso and drinks, even in the mall area. It can get busy on the weekends and hard to find a space to sit, but there is plenty or room in the outdoor courtyard at the mall to take things to go in the warmer months.

I enjoy the contemporary look of Crescendo Espresso Bar. It is a nice place to study, and it can get lively depending on what time you go on the day.

The staff is also incredibly nice! I happened to purchase an iced chai tea latte which I spilled outside when I had to take a call (silly me...). However, the staff was nice to make another chai as I had just bought it a couple of minutes before it spilled. Thank you :)

The best in Madison: always and forever. The coffee is delicious and thoughtfully made. The owners are some of the most creative and generous business owners in our community!

Highly recommended the Nitro Cold Brew — smooth, creamy, and a perfect medium roast.

Crescendo makes a tasty iced mocha, it was a 10/10 for me. The treehugger sandwich was delicious and so filling. Loved the flavors of aged cheddar, basil pesto, and tomatoes!! It’s a cute spot to enjoy good coffee and good food.

The place has a warm inviting atmosphere and friendly employees. Great place to study or work offsite for a few hours. Check it out TODAY!

Best espresso in town, and the have vegan pastries! There's always nice workers too l. Basic P (pumpkin spice latte) is awesome.

Really enjoyed this place. The coffee was excellent and the prices are very fair and reasonable. They use Square so after the visit I received a $1 coupon to use on the next visit. Nice, as I'm not a regular and this was my first visit.

Today I went to Crescendo with my daughter and we loved it! I got cappuccino and my daughter got an iced tea. She loved it there, everything was delicious and I recommend you to go there!

Crescendo passes all the vibe checks. If you are looking for outlandishly great coffee, your journey will end here. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. I love that they support local artists by displaying their work on the walls. The employees are polite, professional, and very efficient for how busy they can get! Highly recommend you try the matcha- Crescendo is the first place I ever tried a matcha latte and loved it. While you’re at it, try the chorizo burrito, too! 5/5 Crescendo is a ✨vibe✨

This is a great cafe. Good coffee, friendly employees and a consistently chill atmosphere. It's got a modern design, very minimalist. They do a great job of keeping the place clean. I enjoy coming here a lot. Easily my favorite Cafe. I'm addicted to their scones.

My wife and I love Crescendo’s coffee. We haven’t had a single experience when their coffee has been bitter. We often come in and buy cups of coffee and also bags of their espresso to make at home. Every time it’s top quality at such a reasonable price.

When we decided on a coffee themed baby shower, we knew we needed to incorporate their coffee into the event. Our dream of having a barista prepare coffee was unfortunately not realized because they had an event, but they were still able to accommodate drip coffee. Cait was great at setting this up for us, and making it stress free. Our guests were blown away by the quality of the coffee, they said it was one of the best coffee they’ve had in a long time. When we had an issue with one of the containers, Justin at the store was super responsive and communicated with Cait to rectify the issue way beyond our expectations.

We will certainly continue to enjoy this amazing coffee shop and encourage anyone in the area to try it. It’s one of the best around.

Sweet little spot for working and sipping coffee drinks. Enjoyed the atmosphere and menu. Spacious for a meeting or just few hours of work off site.

We hired Crescendo to cater our wedding reception in Milwaukee and I cannot express enough how happy I am that we did! It added a whole new level for our guests. We were able to customize our menu and include “his and hers” drinks for our guests to try. The drinks were delicious and the service was amazing! Highly recommend if you are a coffee lover like my husband and I are :)

Always a lovely experience here! Most recently, I was feeling a latte but wanted to stay away from my usual and the barista recommended one of their seasonal winter lattes which turned out to be 10/10, so good that I got it two days in a row.

Right in the middle of Hilldale mall, one of my favorite coffee shops offering seasonal drinks in addition to some stellar coffee. Definitely a good spot to take a shopping break.

Some of the best coffee and espresso in Madison. The seasonal lavender cortado was incredible they always have a good matcha and I've never been disappointed by their food.

I am so glad we finally have a proper coffee shop in Hilldale. This place is great for both a quick coffee on the way to work, and hanging out for a while. There is a gorgeous fireplace to warm up beside. There is plenty of seating, and good power outlet locations. The employees are always so nice, even early in the morning. I stick to the lattes and they are delightful. Avocado toast is also a personal favorite. It may seem expensive to pay $5 for a single piece of avocado toast, but it is massive and hearty enough to fill me up. I also love that when you order for here, everything comes in a real mug or dish, no single use items if you don't need them. And they are happy to fill a cup if you bring your own. They also have real silverware. I'm looking forward to seeing how the walk up window works once the weather warms up.
