I went here and it was the best experience ever. Super friendly and great atmosphere. The employee Adam is awesome! He took great care of me and explained my situation perfectly. Awesome customer service and a really great spot. Thank you!

Nicest people in town work there. One time my truck would've start cause it needed oil the manager closed up to take me to get some. Great people and easy loans. With no hassel.

I love the CheckSmart in Valley Station, Kentucky! They’re so nice and helpful all the employees help you in every way they possibly can but I would have to say that Crystal is my favorite my far! She always has a smile and kind words for you no matter what the situation she explains everything and dumbs it down to where even a toddler could understand it! Thank you so much Crystal for all your help I’ll definitely be a repeat customer and be referring you to anyone who will listen!!!!

I cash my check at this location every Friday. All the employees are friendly and knowledgeable, 5/5 would recommend.

If you can go to ANY OTHER CHECK SMART. The managers name is Robert he's on a power trip he acts as if the loans are coming out of his $15 an hour pay checks. I've heard him make racist remarks in the store. When anyone whose not WHITE comes in the store he's rude and has an attitude and will make up reasons he won't loan to you. I'm white and have seen him blatantly be racist to customers. The employees here are amazing but the manager goes out of his way to make people feel uneasy and unwelcome in the store. Take the extra time and go down the road to the other check smart the manager ROBERT IS A RACIST AND A NARCISIST WHO IS ON A POWER TRIP BECAUSE HE NEVER WENT ANYWHERE IN LIFE.

I got a call Monday from this location telling me I was late and my money wasn’t paid back. I know it was due on the 9th but if I don’t come in by the 9th they are suppose to deposit it in my account that Friday. Adam is telling me they don’t make deposits until Monday and that’s fine but I’ve had my payment come out of my account on a Friday before so I was just trying to figure out why was it Monday and they still calling me but haven’t deposited yet that’s what you have my bank account for. I told them I didn’t think they knew what they was doing and Adam told me the customer that I didn’t know what I was doing. Adam was rude and unprofessional. I come here all the time and never had any issues before I need to speak with whoever is over Adam. He can’t lie and say I was yelling because I have all this recorded on my phone with him telling me this. I will be making a complaint and contacting your corporate office as well because I would like them to hear Adam telling me this on the recording.

Worst CheckSmart ever!!!!! Don't ever do your taxes with these people. I needed an advance on my taxes so I did my taxes with them. They have no idea what they are doing, they will not help you, they screwed my taxes up and then tried hiding it for 9 days!!! I had to threaten to call the IRS before they would fix it. Then once it was fixed they took my entire state refund for the preparation fees instead of waiting to take it out of my federal like EVERYONE else does. Absolutely the WORST experience I've ever had with my taxes. Angie and Robert are the worst! Make sure if you use this CheckSmart you ask all the questions because they will not tell you anything up front like they should, and then when it's too late they are like "well sorry"

Today I went in and asked if they could cash the check I presented. After asking about every name on the check he (Robert) says he can but would never for me. I own a business and imho professional standards were very far from being met. Still not sure what makes ‘I’ inservible. Quick statistics check tells me it’s my skin colour but it is the 21st century and I refuse to believe that.
