Valley Trail - Raccoon Park Rd Trailhead

I absolutely love the Valley Trail. The forest is diverse and beautiful here, and some of the trees are a bit more mature than other areas of the park. The trail itself is situated up along a hill, where you can see the creek down below. It's quite skinny, but passing people coming from the opposite direction has never been an issue. I highly recommend hiking this trail when visiting Raccoon Creek State Park.

A favorite winter out and back hike for many. Follows traverse creek. From the beach to the park office on route 18 or start at the office.

Good trail. Well marked and easy to follow. Intersects with many other trails for miles of exploratory fun. For sure worth the weekend to explore.
