Beach area of Raccoon Creek State Park

First time there and my family loved it! We will be returning that's for sure definitely liked that they keep the beach area nice and clean absolutely loved that there was a few trees in the grassy area for shade! Didn't get to try out the concession stand (we brought our own snacks didn't know there was one) looking forward to doing that next time

I've said it for years now, I LOVE IT. It's so fun coming here on a hot summer day and just floating in the water. The little fish come up and nibble you. Watch for goose poo!!!

Concession lady was nice. Food was good and I can tell they try to keep it clean

Very nice. Be sure to bring your own toys for the beach and floaties for the water. Towels. Snacks. Chairs. Bring lots of towels.

Nice off the beaten path beach beautiful surroundings cheap concession stand and the bathrooms are really outdated but other then that great place to be

Lovely beach for waking. I haven’t been swimming there during the summer, but I have walked it several times in all the other seasons.

This truly was an amazing find and look forward to taking my family back here next time we visit this area!

Its nice. Free beach, decent concession stand. Family likes it a lot.

Nice park close to home. My son's love the beach. They have boat rentals for a fun activity. Food at the beach if your hungry also a picnic area for cooking out. You can fish here as well.

Family friendly clean beach just wished had more picnic tables in beach area but if you get there early you can get one 💘 they have boat rentals

Nice place to have a family picnic! Great swimming! also they have grills to cook but dnt forget bring foil n charcoal.

Grass is a bit high, but hey it keeps it healthy. Lake is calm.

Only really bad thing (maybe secretly good) is there is nearly no cell service.

Love this place. Tons of stuff to keep the kids busy and best of all it's free. Snack bar is way over priced but very convenient.
