Hillman State Park

Very peaceful and quite place, l enjoyed the time I was there. They have hiking trails unfortunately I did not hike at the time, but they have a few trails.
I did not see public restrooms, or facilities. One thing that was really interesting they have a remote control airplane zone however I do believe you have to pick up a permit at raccoon State Park per the signs.

I'm not a fan of hiking but Hillman has a Wetland Trail which is easy to walk and passes several nice ponds (see one pond in attached picture).
If hiking's your thing, there's 18 other trails running a total of 34 miles.
The other feature of the park is for a specific hobby of radio-controlled aircraft flying. Participants must meet strict rules to fly.

Absolutely love this park. From mountain bikes to hiking and fishing always a great spot to spend some down time.

Super single track winding and rolling mountain bike trails. Located a few ponds or lakes with fish. Coming back with rod to try out and catch something.
Add in a few miles of gravel and country roads and can easily reach a 50 mile ride.

Quiet little get away for the day. plenty of one day hiking trails

Few people know about this park. Great place to hike, bike, and fly model aircraft. Trails are usually in really good condition and will soon be labeled I believe.

An undeveloped state park with various mountain bike trails for all levels of skills. No restrooms available or any other services. The area has limited cellphone service. A handheld GPS is essential for hiking or biking.

Endless mountain bike trails and big bass fishing in crystal clear lakes.

This is a great park. We really enjoy biking, hiking, and fishing here. The mountain biking trails are fast and flowing. There are quite a few places flat enough for kids to get into biking the trails. It does get flooded with guys in orange during hunting season. I'd recommend avoiding the area for two or three weeks after Thanksgiving. If you're planning on hunting here, just know that this place gets a ton of pressure from guys coming out of Pittsburgh.

Nice trails. Hiked a few different paths, but mostly bikers. The terrain changes frequently, so it should keep hikers interested. Make sure to wear waterproof footwear and the trails were very muddy despite minimal precipitation. Good park!

Great place to hike and fish

Always a nice hike through here, good trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Parking is (as others have mentioned) discreet, which is always a plus.

It's a great park with a lot of short to long walking and biking trails. Lots of picnic areas available throughout the park.
It can get busy in the weekends or holidays but very peaceful during the work day.

Huge park, not too many people and lots of wildlife. Would recommend this to anyone trying to get out of the city

Great place to ride dirt or gravel!

If you like to hike or bike on Trails This Is The Place To Go. Never many people there and it's mainly just stay game lands so there's only trails and woods. One of my favorite places to hike
