Cook Out

The customer service we experienced was beyond anything we could have expected. The inside was closed, but they saw our group of 6 walking up and actively invited us inside after midnight so we could order and wait for our Uber. I’ve also never seen nicer staff at ANY restaurant after midnight. Wonderful people.

Raven was amazing!! So polite and very helpful with taking my order. I think this is by far the best cookout in Durham!! I will be back. Thank you Raven!

Cook out is cookout. But cookout be slapping. The best milkshake is the cookies and cream cheesecake peanut butter cup. There's no reason you should be getting any other milkshake lmao. And they don't have bad BBQ trays. I mean it ain't The Pit of Smithfield's. But they slap when you get the white cheddar bites. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yeah it's good. This is the best review you gonna see trust me. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmy

The food was pretty decent and the service was really good too. And the price was very reasonable. I would go there again.

This was my first visit to the east coast, I've never been to a Cook Out. I loved it. The food was great and it's a steal. I ordered the 1/4 burger tray with fries and onion rings. You order your burger and tell them what you would like on it from the usual options (mayo, mustard, onions, pickles, ketchup, lettuce) paid 10¢ extra for tomato. They have a special Cook Out sauce for the onion rings that was really good, looks like an orange mustard. Burger was cooked Well done which I actually prefer. My friend ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a side of chili. I tried the chili and it was good. Definitely going back!

Lala was patient and helped us get a large order for 18 people together faster then we expected and did everything with a smile.

This is a really great fast food restaurant! You can get a tray with a burger, a chicken wrap, and fries, and a soda for 7 bucks! Amazing.

The best Coockout in the area. Staff is friendly, service is fast. Great service, got the order right the first time, neat and clean! This place was great which helped to get my lunch in a short time. Drive thru is usually busy but walk up is normally in and out

Great food. Walk-in customers are not a priority. The drive thru is!
The drive-thru needs to have another menu board before the ordering mic/menu board, so the people waiting behind the car ordering can figure out what they want before they get ordering menu.

Just left this Cook Out on Shannon Rd store number 137 and the young man who took my order was very polite and professional. The best drive thru experience I have ever had at any Cook Out. I just want corporate and managers to know how delightful I am from the customer service experience I had this evening. Wish I knew the young man's name. I tried to thank him before I pulled off, but he was very focused on taken care of the customers.

Cookout isn't fine dining, but they still drive a hard bargain and have fast service even at odd hours. For the price, it's faster and better than a lot of chain fast food.

So many milkshake flavors! And the best drive-thru service around. Decent food for the price.

went in at 9:19pm on 8/17, my shake was taking a little longer than usual so I asked the girl behind the counter. she was on it right away - still took quite a while. she came back and gave us the shake + some extra in another cup for the wait! made my whole night. 10/10 i hope she has a great night

We always get good food from here. My husband and I share the hamburger and chicken wrap platter. They have the best milkshakes! Clean bathrooms. Our order wasn't done to order, but they quickly made it correct.

I got a two hot dog tray with cheese bites and fries via the drive thru. Even with a line to the beginning of the parking lot, I got my food at a quick pace. The fries were a little weak compared to normal. Everything else was great.
