Independence Park Apartments in Durham, NC

My family and I have lived here for over a year and it has been a great experience. We were moving from Greensboro and the leasing staff offered virtual tours due to distance. They found us the apartment that met all of our needs and were punctual with all communication and paperwork. Maintenance has been quick and reliable when work orders have been submitted. We love that there is a community officer onsite! We are very happy with our home here!

I’ve been living here for the past 2 years and plan to for many more. Tamika and team are fabulous and attentive to any and all of our needs as tenants. If you’re looking for great community 10/10 recommend!

Came in for a tour and applied same day!! Meredith gave us a tour of the 2x2 as well as the renovated 3x2 and a 3x2 in renovation just to make sure of what we wanted. She was amazing and had such a shine about her. Whatever she’s making DOUBLE IT!

I want to give a s/o to the maintenance team here at the residency . Mohammed and Tremaine ( excuse me if I misspelled your names) worked quickly and diligently to fix the issues I put in a request for. They are sure to clean up after themselves and ensure that everything has been handled before they leave the site. I appreciate your hard work and it does not go unnoticed. Keep up the great work! Thank you again.

Management team is so helpful and kind. Spacious apartments no matter what layout. Community events and great neighbors equal enjoyable living!

The community pond host varies types of wildlife to admire including baby ducks, beavers, and lots of turtles.

Independence Park's property management is nothing less than amazing. From the time that my roommate and I were shopping for apartments, until now they have been more than helpful and supportive towards my roommate and I with whatever we're seeking to get accomplished. I, personally, ran into a situation in regards to the renewal of my lease. I was able to walk into the leasing office and speak with one our wonderful property managers without any wait. Within no time, we came up with a solution and had several laughs in the process. Independence Park Apartments is easily 5 stars for their service, living space and everything else that you would be looking for in apartments. I thank you guys again for everything! You guys are wonderful!

Been living here since 2016 and never had any issues. Great community & safe environment. Staff is wonderful and very engaged with community members.

The staff is amazing especially the property manager Tamika and the assistant manager Meredith the previous manager some guy named Brandon he sucked but these two ladies went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of 10/10 would recommend. The new girl at the office was super sweet too. Just met her but this new team seems like a dream.

Meredith was a pleasure. Very informative. Apartments were beautiful unfortunately life happened and will look for future to come back and finish process. Latoya was also very nice. All the girl were great

I walked in to the leasing office without notice and Tamika was able to provide a tour, and assist me through the application process all in the same day! I was so eager and anxious to secure an apartment after having multiple unsuccessful tours for other homes that week. The apartment homes are beautiful but the customer service exceeds all expectations! Thank you Tamika for always being available to answer my questions and taking away some of the stress during this moving process. I was in a complete state of panic and you were reassuring through it all!

Independence apartment has an amazing staff member Meredith! Meredith assisted me with finding my new home in the mist of relocating from another state. Meredith promptly answered my email inquiry, phone calls and went above and beyond to get me into an apartment I wanted. Meredith was patient with me with answering all my questions. She is kind and provided me with all my options. Thank you Meredith for helping me.

I have lived at Independence Park Apartments since June 2015 and my experience has been extremely positive. First, I found a great apartment in a convenient location at a great price. Located near an elementary/ high school and several medical office buildings, it is an ideal location. The demographics of the residents is diverse and everyone seems friendly enough. Jamie and her management team are especially professional, friendly, and helpful. They hold packages in the office if you are not home to sign for them, and most maintenance requests are completed within 24-48 hours. The grounds are well-kept and quiet. The fitness center is modern, spacious, and clean. The theater room is great for having friends over. The car care center is covered and convenient. I live on the first floor, and I can hear my neighbors above me at times, but I don't mind. I do not hear my neighbor beside me at all. Overall, I am very happy with my experience and consider Independence Park to be one of the best kept secrets in Durham.

I moved here a month ago! I met with Jamie, the manager of the community. Everyone here is very professional and seemed to care about their residents. They greet you by name, always smiling. The property is clean, well maintained. LOCATION IS THE BEST!
I have nothing but good things to say about her and her team. Everyone was very welcoming.

My husband and I have been here for one week, and we honestly love it here. The staff have been very communicative, and respond very quickly. The actual apartment is super nice and so much better than what we actually thought it was going to be in the first place! We love our sun room and are really happy to be here. I also love how involved the staff are with their residents, doing pumpkin carving and pizza party for new internet :-) such a great Vibe and atmosphere.

This community is fantastic, from the location to the value, and most certainly beginning with the management and maintenance staff. The manager Jamie is the most kind and understanding sales person you will ever meet. While sales is only a part of her job, she made the walk-through and lease signing process incredibly easy. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Once we moved in, I noticed a few minor issues in our apartment (light fixture needed replaced, repairs to a kitchen cabinet). I simply completed the online form to request repair, and the issues were repaired quickly and with good craftsmanship. We have only lived here for 3 months so far, but would highly recommend this complex. All of my communications with the office have been very professional and extremely efficient.

The staff is very friendly and attentive here. The apartment was clean, painted, and ready to move into. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom we chose is perfectly placed to get a great view of the neighborhood pond and its surrounding trail. The amenities are very generous for the price that we pay here. We get a dog park, playground, pool, wash station, and a very decent community gym. All of these areas are clean and well kept. The neighbors are actually very friendly and the neighborhood is amazingly quiet. It is a great community to live in.

Love living here! Everyone in the office greets me with a smiling face. They do resident breakfasts on the go. The service team always waives and is super friendly. I have an apartment facing the wooded area in the back and it is very private and quiet. The location And walkability is great. I love walking with my dog around the pond and letting him play in the dog park. Live here, you’ll love it!

I could not go through the weekend without praising the independence park staff especially Jamie Turner. She made my move in process super easy and was very responsive on all my questions on materials needed. She was full of energy and not once during this process did I second guess my decision due to friendliness of staff and the beautiful apartments. I can honestly say i almost felt like i known her all my life with the welcoming vibe that she passed to me.
