Spectacular! Best wines in Blue Ridge no big box brands here.They have the best boutique brands available. What’s even better is the owner Sarah and her staff are truly first class. Without a doubt my favorite place to visit and people to see when we are in town! From one small business owner to another their customer service is amazing so please support small businesses.. Out of the Blue is a great place to pick up delicious gourmet food- the best baguette in town is there. Sarah helps me find the perfect wine for any occasion. Her wine knowledge is astonishing. I have learned so much about what cheese pairs with which wine, and how different wine regions affect flavor notes. I also love all the beautiful heavily patterned European ceramics and fine linens. It’s a pretty shop, warm and inviting, just like all the fun (and funny) gals that work there. A must visit in Blue Ridge.

My favorite shop in Blue Ridge! I've been coming here for almost 15 years (yikes, I can't believe how time is flying). Everyone who works here is fantastic. A great place for wine and cheese (etc), and to hang out for a bit and talk about what's going on in Blue Ridge.

We were really surprised to find this little Gem in Blue Ridge. Very knowledgeable staff, some great selections. We have already enjoyed two of our finds.

I've been hearing about this place for years on NPR. Out of the Blue has been a supporter of National Public Radio for years, and we had to check this place out. We were NOT dissapointed. We got a chance to meet Sarah the owner. She helped us pick out a couple of bottles of wine and some cheese to pair with the wine. It was a lot of fun pouring over the wines and cheeses that are imported here from all over the world. This visit made our trip to Blue Ridge this weekend well worth the trip.

Terrific wine and gift store. One of the most unique spots I have ever seen and the staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. I will be back here!

You know you are at home when someone can pronounce your southern name! Seriously, you know the wine store that you commit to buy a bottle to be polite? Well, we made a friend today and purchased numerous bottles - a wallet a bit lighter but happy. We will definitely be back. Sarah is delightful and knows her wines! Our stops! We were absolutely blessed! Sarah was amazing! Funny, extremely knowledgeable and made this one of our favorite stops! I don’t know if she always does the food tour but I did hear her say that she does a tasting on Saturdays at noon. (Call and verify this!). You won’t be disappointed! She is beyond gracious! Here is a pic of Sarah’s White Port Cocktail! It is so refreshing! We obviously bought the amazing cheeses that she paired with different wines. I love to cook so I asked her for a good red port for making a port reduction! It was beyond delicious! I wanted to just sip it but first used it for the reduction! Amazing to say the least!! Please treat yourself and go to her shop! You will not be disappointed! Her staff (her friends) could not have been sweeter! I have to go and order more Ramos Pinto White Port… so I need to go and do that! Enjoy! I wish we lived there! Such a beautiful area and the people are so nice! Cheers Everyone!!

Went on vacation for our 35th Anniversary to Blue Ridge. Went into Out Of the Blue to get a bottle of wine to celebrate. She picked out a wine for us that was over the top amazing. We will be back as we are already planning our next trip to Blue Ridge and this place will be our first stop.

The gem of Blue Ridge. We visited this store a couple of times during our recent stay near by Blue Ridge. They have an excellent selection of wines, beers and gourmet food. Sarah has great recommendations and a pleasure to engage with.
