Womble Park Athletic Fields

Beautiful new turf soccer fields, four baseball fields, running trails, tennis courts, and a large playground. A second set of bathrooms added by the playground a few years ago.

This place is huge. We took our kids just for a few minutes because we were in the area. Its spacious and the play area is quite nice. So many types of activities for kids to do. There is also a little pond where you can sit and relax. Im sure the neighbors around the park really enjoy it.

Nice park for all ages.. there are tennis courts and soccer playgrounds. Also, there are picnic tables.

Great park and athletic fields. Soccer fields are well laid out so it’s not too crowded even on a busy day. Concessions are convenient and the bathrooms are well maintained. Went for the kids soccer playoffs and despite being pretty crowded, parking wasn’t too bad, and we had plenty of room for chairs. Just get there early if you want a good spot for your chair, but that’s any field. Coaches are across from the spectators, so no backseat coaching going on.

Always a great park to come to. The soccer fields are gorgeous with plenty of room. The baseball fields are great as well and they do have batting cages. The playground has been recently upgraded and is a great place for your little ones to burn off some energy. Great place to hang out!!

We love it here, the surface to the kids play area was just replace to meet ADA requirements. There are bathrooms, numerous soccer fields, a paved loop and a pond. In the immediate area there is a trail leading to Bass lake via Sugg Farm as well as a new dog park. So nice, check it out!

Nice and peaceful park. Nice breeze, lake, and geese! There's a soccer field and a cute kids playground. Kids loved it! We went in the summer around 2pm and there wasn't a large crowd but there were a small number of teenagers there chatting about relationships 😆😅 But, I wasn't listening 🐸☕😆

Great park with lots of paved trails. A great playground with a really soft surface for the little ones. Usually pretty busy on the weekends when they have games going on as well.

Nice fields, all artificial turf. No bleachers, bring your own chair. Sun orientation is harsh on some fields so bring your sunglasses, hat and sunscreen. Please, no umbrellas on first row. It blocks second row view.

Fantastic park! Huge! Lots of free parking with a nice pavilion.

Simply marvelous and full of fun, fun, fun for everyone ❤❤ GO SEE FOR YOURSELF AND HAVE A BLAST. Don't forget your tennis racquets, horseshoes, and volley ball. Fishing pole as well if you just want to relax. ❤🙏

Great field, beautiful grounds.

Very hot day, but not bad under the shade of big trees. There was a decent breeze, so it was tolerable. Lots of little kids with parents at midday. Very nice equipment. Our four year old had a good time. A flock of geese nearby added to the atmosphere. I think this is a good place to come and let your kids burn off some energy.

It's pretty big and you can walk your dogs and everything! Also, from the last time I've been there.. They have changed their older part of the kids' playground Monkey bars. They are a lot lower now, and they have added a few new stuff along with it, too! Definitely would go check them out if you haven't already.

Been going here for a while with my kids playing soccer. 2 nice full sized turf fields. They also have a concession stand and bathrooms on site. There are baseball fields but I haven't been to them. There is also a picnic shelter for large groups

This is a community park and is kept in tip top shape, with a tennis court, 2 pickleball courts, several fields, a great playground and picnic pavilion and walking paths. I can't find any reason not to like this place. There are even bathrooms and a snack bar that is occasionally open.

Great place for families! Big playground and plenty of open space for a picnic.
