Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park

We frequent this park multiple times a week and love every minute of it. We love bringing our pup to run around in the field on a long lead and the beauty of the fields and different walking paths there is to choose from. We don't go to the dog park much any more but we love that it is so wooded and have had good experiences here.

I went to this park on 5th July for fireworks event. Surprisingly it’s good. Plenty of space for such big events. It was beautiful evening and memorable. Very close view to see fireworks display.

I love this place! I bring my dogs here often for walks and to enjoy the dog park. It’s such a beautiful area and the perfect place for events!

Imo the best place to watch fireworks! but get there early because traffic is slammed around 730-830pm. Also, the food truck lines omgoodness! they get packed and you can easily wait an hour. On the bright side there is a live band to enjoy while you wait and I love that they acknowledge the veterans before they start fireworks. And… the fireworks are amazing!You can literally lay down if you want and it looks like they’re right above your head.

Was a joy attending the Suggly Sweater 5k Run here. Was a great event for an awesome cause. Looking forward to make this an annual event we attend. Our company Cary Dental Rejuvenation was a sponsor and we were honored to be a part of this event.

Great place to have a small family picnic or bring your dog to the dog park. Also great place for town events.

Excellent team work for July 4th ,Love the traffic system and fireworks.

Definitely will be going back next year live music food trucks open field and the best firework show around 5 Star

I am a hair and makeup artist and we had a photoshoot there for a quinceañera. It is a beautiful place with lovely sunset.

A peaceful hidden gem! I am so thankful for this place and visit often, it is a big open space with trails and a dog park, perfect for a picnic or just a moment of peace.

Hay ride was about 10 min. Short and sweet but fun. Probably somewhat scary for kids under 10, relaxing for us adults. The haunted houses were fun with lots of jump scares. Busy but not too crowded. There were 4 outhouses.

Host to monster 4th of July celebration. I love it best when it is officially closed, but still open to winter trail use.

Nice, Peaceful, and Quiet Park to Relax

Sugg farm is home to many different people. Cross Country teams, archery enthusiasts, remote controlled aircraft, and so much more. With a direct path leading to Bass Lake, the trails are beautiful and seemingly never ending. Sugg farm has to be one of the best, if not THE best firework spot in Holly Springs. The open fields, countless vendors, and open sky on 4th of July make for the perfect scene. Recent construction has brought bathrooms and water fountains as well which are conveniently located in the middle of the park. Perfect for picnics, running, passing a football, playing with your dog, or watching fireworks, Sugg Farm has so much to offer.

Drive in movie was great plus there was a full moon visible coming up in the horizon. It was a well organized event

If you got a puppy this is the place. Great dog park!

Visited for the Halloween Haunted Trail. Obviously well thought out, planned and nicely executed. The organizers may want to consider arranging the visual elements in well transitioned themes accompanied with applicable theme appropriate music. That would kick this up from 'Very Good' to 'Friggin Awesome' 👍

To say this is just a park would be an understatement. Sugg farm is a pillar of Holly springs. Holly fest is held there every year as well as 4th July fireworks, almost every weekend there is some event on the large field. There's a well maintained dog park and some walking trails that connect to Bass lake, not to mention the rc flying field which is good for a show and friendly company on Saturday morning.

Wonderful amazing 4th of July celebration there with about 10 yummy food trucks. No shade in this open Park so make sure you sit all the way down by end of food trucks where there's growing shade from high trees that border parking lot. Plan on taking close to hour to get out of parking lot on this busy holiday. Amazing firework show - best!

I am going to have to look up the way this property became part of Holly Springs history, because I think it’s a pretty cool story. Only the basics have been done here since it was previously a horse farm, but it provides so much for local residents. For hikers and runners and dog walkers and mountain bikers, there are more trails then you realize. Little sections here in there that do all connect if you explore. There are open fields for just running or playing, fantastic places for family photos, beauty in its natural state. It’s a great place for community events, and for the high school cross country team to do their thing. I also see a group of model airplane enthusiasts there frequently. It makes me happy just pulling through that super cool gate into the property. And my dogs are pretty happy as well.
