Bay Animal Hospital

I have been taking my dogs here for several months now. I waited to give a review because I wanted to see if the office/vet tech staff were really as amazing as they seemed on our first few visits. Well, yes they are! To be consistently friendly and helpful every visit is so appreciated. As far as the doctors go, I am very happy! Both Dr. Ruff and Dr. Howell are fantastic! They are up to date on the latest medications and treatments and always give my dogs the best of care. All of the staff here treat my dogs as if they were their own. It means so much to have a team so dedicated to what they do. Thank you Bay Animal Animal Hospital!

The staff and Dr. Ruff have always been kind, compassionate, and have gone above and beyond with their service. The sent me a sympathy card after my 🐈 soulmate passed and worked with me when my lab tried to ☠ himself by eating his toys. ♥

My 3 dogs have gone to Darren and Jill's for approx. 9 years. I have watched them grow, expand their office, help almost vets do their internship in a caring manner. They keep winning Best of Bay over and over again, and here's the reason. They love animals. They have empathy. They will love your dog like it is their own.

Couldn't ask for a better Doc to take our Babies to!!! So nice and Dr. Ruff truly loves what he does, made our experience more tolerable. He tried everything he could to save our Chevy, it was just his time. He now sees our new baby Hooks and loves him to death! We will never take our fur babies to anyone else in this town but Dr Ruff!!

My 15 Year old Cat Tigger wasn't doing well. The vet tried everything they could, but unfortunately he was beyond aid.

The staff was caring and professional when it was time to put him down and made the process much easier on me. Great service and wonderful people! I'll be taking my other two cats there from now on.

Dr. Howell and her staff are wonderful! They treat their clients like family and each time they've treated my baby, they call to do a well check on her. Compassion at its finest!

Best Vet. in the Panama City area. Dr. Ruff and his team are so good to our fur family and us as well that we drive 50 miles in to see them. We have 9 dogs and they are all excited when they get to visit Dr. Ruff.

I started going to this vet because the other practice I'd been with was overwhelmed, and appointments were weeks or months out. Dr Ruff is gentle, and he connects with animals. He diagnosed my dog's condition without expensive testing. The techs are caring and competent, and the front desk folks are helpful and able to handle many concerns or call back with answers.

We had to put down our dog last week. Bay animal hospital was incredible throughout the entire process. Very caring and understanding. We highly recommend Bay!!

Hands down the BEST veterinarian in Bay County! I love this clinic! The staff is very friendly and caring about their clients and the human family. I can't imagine bringing my pets anywhere else. The hours are great and prices are fair and reasonable.

Love Dr. Ruff. He is the best. He found something that was the problem with my Boston Terrier that nobody else found for some reason. And now, hopefully, I'll have him for a couple extra years. ❤ (I tried to include a picture of my Boston at the vets office but I couldn't find it so here he is after, getting a treat. 😂)

Wow! So pleased with this friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate pet hospital. Luckily they were able to fit in our kitty after a cancellation. We relocated here and did not have a vet established yet. This place came highly recommended and now I see why! My only recommendation to viewers would be to call ahead of your needs bc they are booked and busy 3-4 weeks out. Don’t take this as a frustration point, understand that this wait is because they take a full 30+ minutes with their clients/fur babies to ensure the owner feels empowered to care for their critter and all of the owners questions are answered. We will be back for all of our animal health needs!

After a slightly invasive visit for our kitty I expected him to be under the bed for the rest of the day… here he is calm and comfortable after Sophie and Dr Ruff took such good care of him!!

We love Bay Animal Hospital and Dr. Ruff!! He is the most compassionate veterinarian. He always takes the time to listen and treats our fur babies like they were his own. Fantastic veterinary experience! Dr. Ruff loves and cares about our fur kiddos. Best care we have ever received. I can not recommend enough! They are compassionate and kind, the staff is all amazing. Dr Ruff is the both the best and kindest vet I've had the pleasure of meeting. He takes care of all of our animals, and they all even seem to like him.

Dr Ruff was awesome I took our young cat to another vet months ago said he couldn't be healed. This doctor is awesome we will definitely be back!

Dr. Ruff and his entire staff are so wonderful and friendly. We took our kitty in for a second opinion and Dr. Ruff was so thorough and everyone was gentle and sweet. Even with tough news, it felt like someone cared finally and will provide the best care for our cat, which is has been so hard to find in our area.
