Maui Fish'n Chips

Amazing spot in Kihei! After a long bike ride we stopped to get lunch, everything was really tasty.
The poke was made of spicy ahi and rice, perfectly matched. And the mahi fish and fish was crispy and the sour cream brought a lot of flavours.
The service was also exceptional, the owner came by a few times to ask if everything was going well.

My wife and I stopped by this small restaurant for lunch. It’s in a small strip mall with very little parking. You might have to find something along the street or park elsewhere nearby.

The restaurant itself has no seating, but there are picnic tables in an open air environment beside the restaurant, and it’s covered so you can stay out of the sun or rain. I do wish there had been some ceiling fans to help circulate the air since it was warm, although I was grateful to be out of the sun. Other restaurants in the area share the same seating area.

I had the fish n chips with mahi with my wife did the stir fry (“wok”) with ono. I’m not a big fan of fried fish, but this was a lighter batter, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also don’t like tartar sauce, but my wife insisted that I should try theirs because it looked homemade. Let’s just say I dipped nearly every bite into that goodness.

If you’re in the area and can find a spot to park, check this place out.

SO GOOD!! The batter on the fish and shrimp is so crunchy and crispy and delicious. The sauces were all good and even the fries were extra crunchy and good. Also, it seems like the guy that runs it genuinely likes his job. He was super nice and informative and seemed to enjoy talking to customers. The portions for the price was also super good.

Delicious fried fish! It was something to be remembered for sure!

The fish and fries are both fried to perfection and delivered in generous portions. We got the ono and mahi. If you’re unsure about the differences between ono, Mahi, and tuna they have a sign (the model fish on the left wall) that briefly describes the differences. Would definitely come here again!

Bradley was our server when we went in for dinner; he was so kind and welcoming. We tried the Mahi Mahi fish tacos and the fried Mahi Mahi fish and chips, we upgraded to the volcanic fries which were fire 🔥. Both the fried fish and the tacos were awesome. We also really liked the homemade spicy mayonnaise and the tartar sauce.

It says "Best fish n chips in Maui" on their website. They are god damn right! Not only in Maui, I think this was the best fish n chips in my life. The thickness of batter is just right and flavourful, not bland. Fries are how I like, crunchy outside, soft inside. Perfection. Good job guys, keep doing what you do. Mahalo!

Amazing fish and chips! Loved the batter and fries as well. The poke bowl was simple but classic and full of flavour. Very reasonable priced as well. For the fish and chips + tuna bowl and a Coca Cola we paid around $35USD. The staff were also super nice!

I got the poke bowl and it was delicious. I also tried the chicken teriyaki, fish and chips, and fish tacos. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! So good!

Absolutely the best fish on this island. We have looked and tried other places and their fish tacos not the best too much cabbage Don't waste your time and money come to this place and enjoy your time instead.

Stopped here for lunch after a morning on the beach and we were not disappointed! We had the fried mahi, fried shrimp, teriyaki chicken, and the onion rings. All items were delicious and hearty! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Make sure you stop here if you are in the Kihei area!

The fish and ingredients are as fresh as they get. The menu is simple, but hard to match this taste on the mainland.

Tables are outside. It's been hot on Maui, but the breeze here is wonderful. Crisp tasty fish and chips, flaky/fluffy in the middle. Staff and owner are so nice!!!

A little expensive for the amount of fish you get, but amazing taste and generous amount of fries. The tartar sauce also tastes really good.

This was some of the best fish we have had on Maui. They also do family style meals if you have a lot of people to feed. One of my favorites was they have 2 types of coleslaw and one of them has curry in it. Definitely a fun twist to a classic dish. We will absolutely be back again. If you’re nearby and hungry, check them out :-)

best fish n chips in Hawaii, as well as their shrimp/calamari!! You can’t find it better price either. People are lovely and the owners Mark and Jackie are truly wonderful!

The order process was quick and the order taker confirmed the order before finishing. He indicated it would take a few minutes. After 12 minutes it arrived, but UNPROMTED we were offered a free soda because of the delay. The fish and chips were hot and tasted great. Potion for the price was also great. Photo is not accurate. My wife didn't give me enough time to take a picture when she took the food out of the bag. By the time I could find my phone she had already eaten about two thirds of the fish and about half the french fries.

Family ran restaurant and they are so nice. Good food and good portions. I was impressed.
I will come back.

We've been twice, each time we've been very pleased. The service is from the heart, the food is fresh and very pleasant for such prices.

If your craving fresh delicious fish and chips, this is your destination. This the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. The fried shrimp and mushrooms is just as good as the fish. This food touches your soul. Fries and coleslaw was yummy. You can’t go wrong with anything here. Customer service was great.
