Kukahiko Estate

Kukahiko Estate is simply gorgeous, perfect for an intimate small wedding like ours on 9/15/18. The house itself is exceptional with ample space totally worth serving as a stand-in if it rains, and the back yard is just absolutely breathtaking. Exquisite landscaping spreads across a lush green lawn that runs right up to the smooth rocky edge meeting the ocean. The lava rock outcropping to the right is surprisingly wide and long, offering insanely romantic views or photos… that is a public area, but your photographer can shoot around any unexpected guests (ours happened to be the sweetest locals full of congrats just trying to stay out of our way while enjoying their land - honestly we couldn’t have been happier, either way). Yes, there’s a strictly law-enforced noise ordinance that require everyone, including all vendors with equipment, off the property by 10PM … but the neighbors are incredibly respectful while you’re visiting so you’ll want to return the favor, and 9:45PM won’t seem so early once you’re living on “island time” anyway. Personally, we will forever be grateful we were able to have both our ceremony and reception at Kukahiko and I wouldn’t hesitate to simple elope here in hindsight - If you’re looking for unparalleled beauty and memories in a venue, this place is the best! Most beautiful place for a wedding! Surf comes in and hits the rocks just perfect for a dramatic effect. Sunset will take your breath away!

Gorgeous venue, was there for a friend's wedding. It has amazing views, is right on the ocean and was pretty cool hearing the waves crashing as the couple did their vows. And lots of great spots for excellent photos. And the sunset there was amazing, definitely recommend for a wedding in Maui.

The location is ideal. Right on the ocean where turtles often seen close to shore. The main house has two bedrooms three bathrooms, a large kichen, good size dinning area. There's a large living room with glass sliding doors that open to expand the outdoors. There's a TV room with a sleeper sofa, a library with info about the old Hawaiian family with sliding doors to outside. Separate is a one bedroom ohana. The grounds are nicely landscaped. Driveway can accommodate several vehicles.

One of the most beautiful location in the world with whales and turtles. Building is a perfect gathering place.

We snorkeled in front of this estate and the snorkeling was great. The public access is close by this estate.
