I love Maui dental group. I especially like their dentist because I end up saving money because she does not do work that I do not need. Other dentists have taken advantage of me and told me I need treatment that I do not need. Here you’ll get an honest opinion and they will only tell you what you need and give you alternative treatment options that are more conservative and save you a lot of money in the end. And the whole experience is totally pain-free because they are so patient and do everything to make the experience comfortable for me. All of the cleanings and fillings and dental work I have gotten done has been perfect. No pain and no sensitivity. My teeth look beautiful and I love my smile because of Maui Dental Group. They always get me in right away and I don’t have to wait for days to see a dentist. The team is so patient with me and the whole experience from start to finish is wonderful. I am grateful that I found them and I will go here forever. I would give them more than five stars if I could!

This group and staff exceeded my expectations in every way. Who wants a broken tooth on vacation? But if you do break a tooth, this is the place to go. They were prompt in addressing my emergency, and the treatment I received was outstanding. They saw me within an hour (after calling a lot of other places) and took great care of me. The dentist took the time to explain everything and made me feel at ease. It was also awesome that the dentist has worked in the emergency rooms of different hospitals. So my issue was much smaller than the emergencies she has handled. And she was a professor at the dental school in California. I think knowing her strong background and skills helped me feel at ease. Overall, they were a wonderful group of ladies. I loved that it was a small office and a personalized appointment. Their fees are higher than the rest but I think that’s because the dentist and staff are only focused on me without any other patient around. It felt more like a personal concierge doctor than a normal doctor. Great for people who are scared of the dentist. The office even contacted me the same day to check on me. I would go back any time I have an issue

Dr. Sonia was amazing. She really provides a concierge level service with personal touch. She made the whole experience so much easier and comfortable. Highly recommend and would go back.

I am so grateful for the support of Dr. Hannah Lewis during my vacation to Maui. I had a tooth abscess and bad pain. Due to appointment scheduling was quick and easy. We did have to pay for emergency costs, but we have overseas health insurance. Dr. Lewis was very nice and calm. I felt well taken care of. She followed me for days and always wanted to know about the healing process. I was able to contact her at any time. Dr. Lewis consulted with her colleagues and did everything she could to make me feel better. Her dedication was truly outstanding. I felt well taken care of at all times. Thanks to Dr. Lewis' help, we ended up having a great time on Maui. I highly recommend the dental office.

I had an extreme toothache during my vacation but got a fast appointment at Maui Dental Group where Doctor Todorova helped me with a lot of care and compassion. What an amazing Doctor! Highly recommend.

My wife's crown fell out the night before an early morning flight to Maui. There was no time to see her regular dentist and she opted to see a dentist when we arrived on Maui. Before departure, The Maui Dental Group responded immediately to our emergency request, and she had an appointment scheduled upon arrival. They were very clear on cost so there were no surprises for this out of pocket expense. Dr. Gupta was AMAZING! She walked my wife through every step of the procedure, and in less than an hour, her crown was fixed and she could enjoy her vacation. Thank you, Dr. Gupta! You’re a GREAT dentist!

Like others, day one of vacation started with a bad toothache (my first in many years). Dr Sonia Gupta and her assistant Monica were excellent. Sonia is a very good listener and is clearly passionate about her profession and helping others in time of need (as evidenced by photos of her mission work). Not inexpensive, but as usual you get what you pay for, and being seen on such a short notice and with the degree of care saved my holiday, was outstanding and much appreciated :)

While on vacation in Maui, one of my teeth broke off. Maui Dental was able to work me in the next day. The entire experience with them was so positive. They were very professional and helpful. The dentist took care of the problem that day so I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation. It was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. I definitely recommend them.

I cracked a tooth at airport in Texas on our way to Maui. When we landed, we found the information for the Maui Dental Group. They were able to take me as an emergency on a Sunday. Dr. Gupta and her team were extremely professional and went above an beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend them especially if you have a dental emergency while traveling.

Did anyone know you could lose a crown from the pressure of scuba diving!? Well you can, and it's terrible! I'm visiting from the mainland, and had the pleasure (no joke!) of being able to make an emergency visit to Maui Dental Group while here. The staff are phenomenal. Dr. Vargas was very thorough and quick, she did a great job putting me back together and her staff is equally amazing and polite. Thank you so much for turning my day around. 🐠

Broke my veneer while on vacation in Kihei, which could have ruined by entire holiday, but now it's just another story for the trip thanks to Dr. Gupta. Broke the veneer Wednesday night, and I was back smiling at the beach like nothing happened by 10am the next morning. The replacement looks great, and the overall experience was Dr. Gupta was excellent. Seriously one of the best dental experiences I've had.

Going to the dentist may never be as much fun as going to the beach (lol), but Dr. Vargas and her team certainly bring aloha to their craft. Exceptional service, warmth and efficiency all at once - as a patient you definitely get the sense that they genuinely value your well-being! I woke up with severe tooth pain, and this emergency dental office was able to see me right away. The dentist diagnosed the issue accurately and provided effective treatment.

Dr. Kelly Wojcicki was amazing in helping me when I got a chipped front tooth on my first day of vacation. She took the time to explain to exam the tooth and use her expertise in cosmetic bonding to fix me up within the same appointment time. She took the time to explain what she was doing and made me feel comfortable with her treatment plan. Dr. Wokcicki then with great care took time in fixing my bonding to make it look as natural as possible. She also went through future options with me if I was to have additional issues when I went back to the mainland.
I couldn't be more thankful for my outcome leaving Maui Dental Group and not having to schedule an emergency appointment when I got back home.

While visiting Maui I suspected I had an infected tooth. Maui Dental was able to see me within 24 hours. Dr. Vargas and the entire staff were very warm and welcoming. Dr. Vargas explained everything extremely well and was gentle during the exam. Dr. Vargas and her dental assistant are friendly and compassionate. I'm usually very stressed out during my dental visits, not this time, I was very relaxed. I can't thank Maui Dental enough. I will be able to enjoy my last few days in Maui.

The Best Dentist I had ever met.

I was travelling to Hawaii last week. I suddenly had gum inflammations need to have emergency operation. Call them on Friday, they normally don't work on Sat, but because of my appointment they had their reception, assistant and Dr. Vargas back to work on Sat just for me.
They are very patient, lovely lady, painless operation.
Because I don't have local number, Dr. Vargas even wrote an email to follow up the next day to see if I am getting better after the operation.

Highly recommend!

Best Dental Office EVER!
I called many different dentist offices before choosing this one and I am so glad that I did. Not only did they have the lowest self-pay rates in Kihei for a basic exam and cleaning, they also were the friendliest group. They were fast but efficient. They were friendly and sincere. They didn't make me get new x-rays because my old dentist from the mainland was able to send some to them. They had mobiles on the ceiling for me to watch while they worked on examining and cleaning my teeth. They were super considerate of my needs and I really appreciated how gentle they were with my teeth. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends.

We were travelling to Maui for a holiday from the UK, when my partners filling fell out on the plane.
I emailed Maui Dental Group from the plane, and had a response before we landed. We were able to get appointments quickly and the treatment my partner received was excellent.
They really helped keep us calm dealing with this situation of far away from home.
