AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea

We stayed for a few hours, after our Air Canada flight from Maui to Vancouver was cancelled, and Air Canada booked hotel and transportation for us.

We found the room very comfortable and the front desk girl very professional and friendly.

We didn’t have time to explore the property, as we got there at 1.30AM and left around d 6.30AM. Our taxi driver said the location is one of the best for WaIlea, as it’s close to the beach but away from the crowds. We always stay on the west side of Maui, so not sure about staying in Wailea for a couple of days.

All by all, an excellent place (with strong and modern shower, a “must have”, for me).

We stayed here in July 23 and it exceeded our expectations. If you are using Marriott points, it is well worth it. Located in Wailea, you have everything close by - food, beaches, shopping.

The rooms are clean and tasteful. The pool area has a beautiful view and a pool attendant who takes drink/food orders throughout the day. We noticed that the pool can get crowded, but we didn't have too much of an issue finding a chair or spot.

Overall, I'd 100% stay here again.

I'm reading some of these other reviews and I think so people are just not happy in life, how or why would you complain about anything when your in Maui, Hawaii ?? Here's our story and this place is awesome, Chill out people and enjoy life.
We needed to be in Hawaii for my sons wedding, which was awesome. I searched the internet and found your Hotel very appealing and your website very user friendly so, I went next level and decided to call the hotel to see if the deal was real and I spoke with 2 different people and both were very professional and most helpful. I actually made multiple calls with questions , I would like to recognize Cheyenne and LJ, along with the entire staff, everyone we had interaction with, they were Amazing !!!!!! The AC Marriott is a 5 star Hotel in my opinion .

Great value. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated.Easy walk down to beach and main hotel strip. Nice way to enjoy swanky Wailea without breaking the back.

We were staying in Waikiki for a week and decided to fly to Maui for an overnight trip. I'm so glad we stayed here! Everything was perfect! The grounds are beautifully landscaped, the staff was beyond nice, and the Mai Tai's were perfect! Special shout out to Paul and Jan at the pool for being the friendliest bartenders!

Pleasant find in the middle of the Wailea area. If you prefer hotel service, ambiance, atmosphere, and amenities, this is the best choice. Only about 2 years old, it's very straightforward, simple and convenient, well kept and almost like a lodge feel. Check-in was fast and friendly. Every staff member I've encountered was friendly. Rooms, lanais, and views are centered around the pool area as it looks over the West Maui ocean. Very nice find. All you can eat breakfast for @ $30 p/p, although i didn't try it this time. Entertainment on Wednesdays and Saturdays where the entire hotel will hang out outside, take in the scenery and music, and chill with the outdoor fore pit going and the nice ambiance. Just found my new favorite stay. Nice! Change laundry facilities to be free and you'd be perfect. 🤙✌

Tisha did a great job at check-in. She was busy but was quick and courteous to both the couple before me with their 50 pieces of luggage and then myself. Throughout my stay, Jenver was a big help as well. Whenever I passed the front, the server's as well as the front desk staff and even the housekeeping staff in the halls were all so friendly and courteous. Some chief in the hotel lucked out there. I absolutely love the hotel, the convenient location, the simple amenities, the ambiance, and the service. My one and only go to in the Wailea area. I'm headed back in a few. Check out the pics. 😉🤙✌! Oh, and if I had a helpful critique, the only small recommendations are to change the DND signs to possibly a wrist sized wrap around shell Lei on the door. I've seen it at one other hotel on another island. Also, the long chair at the foot of the bed, I'm pretty certain a lot of peeps Hurst their toes, stepping on the long wooden frame that runs across. Would be better if it was four-legged. Just a friendly suggestion. Other than that- Aces!🙂✌

Ererin and Jenver at the reception desk, along with the rest of the staff there are always smiling, welcoming, and quick to help. They rock! Jed from Housekeeping has the memory of an elephant and is always service oriented, friendly, and pleasant to rank to as well as the rest of his team. Again, it's a simple but beautiful property, and ultimately, the employees make it what it is. Happy holidays, and I hope to be back next year! 😉🤙✌

We had the most enchanting stay at the AC Hotel in Maui Wailea in Hawaii! From the moment we walked in, we was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly made us feel at home. The breathtaking ocean view from everywhere at the hotel was nothing short of paradise, and the sunsets were like a dream. No joke.

The staff here specially (Jan, Mark, Darcie, from the bar and LJ, Ederin and Shery from the front desk)went above and beyond to ensure every moment was memorable. The whole experience was impeccably magnificent. We miss them already so much…

What sets this hotel apart is not just its stunning location, but the genuine care and attention to detail that the staff put into making our stay unforgettable. Thank you, AC Hotel, for making our Hawaiian getaway a true piece of heaven on Earth. We can't wait to return!

Had a nice visit. Didn't put a ton of time into booking. Hotel has a nice pool area and good staff. We were set up in a handicap room and access for older people was well thought out including a threshold out to the lanai. Aaron and Mark kept us hydrated and had a great time. Rest of staff was great too just didn't catch all their names. Good breakfast variety and some cook to order options included in the buffet. Lunch and dinner options were fairly light for the price but tasty. Thanks AC crew, for a nice experience. So nice that the adjacent golf course looked like a lot of work each day!

Very different from other Marriott properties/resorts we’ve stayed at in the past. This one was much smaller and felt a lot more intimate and private. Lovely bar on the pool/hot tub area. We were upgraded to a walkout suite and loved the mornings overlooking the ocean.

A bit of a walk to the beach but the shopping area/restaurants are an easy 7-10 min walk.

AC hotel, you've done a fantastic job! Your property is a delightful addition to the Marriott brand on Maui. During my stay in April, I had a very enjoyable experience. Accessing the parking lot was easy with the room card. As an elite member, I received $10 breakfast credit per person, up to 2 guests ($20 total). The rooms were adequately spacious and well-maintained, with a high level of cleanliness.

Newly built in 2021. Great and small private hotel by Marriott. We stayed on the top floor so you wouldn’t hear anyone stomping on the floor above you. The parking was $30 daily. Check out is at noon which is nice.

Breakfast isn’t free but unlimited for $25 and man they were delicious and photo-worthy.

Bar by the pool was expensive. We ordered two lava flows for almost $40.

Sherri helped us check in and she was so quick and efficient but soooo kind! The management team left us a welcome letter and gift basket and went the extra mile to make sure me and my family were comfortable. This hotel opened in 2021 and is so beautiful with a great pool and gym. The outdoor bar and fireplace are great places to have a drink or grab a bite to eat and then sit and relax. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Has boutique hotel vibe in a nice location, the hotel is new so everything is clean, bar tenders were friendly, food was reasonably priced

A great location close to the The Shops at Wailea and public beach. The hotel itself is great with a very good Infinity pool which was regularly cleaned, I was here for 6 nights and the pool was cleaned at least every other day. The rooms were clean and had balconies facing the ocean and the West Maui mountain or the tree line street on the other side. Parking is an additional fee as I presume parking in this area is difficult, breakfast buffet is also an additional fee but there are quite a few choices within the "The Shops at Wailea" which is a 5 - 10 minute walk. The lobby was normally open air with a nice sea breeze going through and the reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bar staff was great as well.

Loved the experience. Beautiful location, modern rooms, very courteous staff, good food selection at reasonable price.

We had to find a last minute hotel due to our flight being canceled. The reservation line went above and beyond to find us a place and at a great price. We were only there for the night so didn't get experience the whole resort but what we did see was simply gorgeous facility!! Super clean, comfortable rooms (a little small but bed was comfy), large gym and the grounds were stunning!! We got in late and the bartender on 8/19 was so sweet and was even able to get us a food order even at 10pm. He stayed late so we could finish our food and drinks. Top service from everyone we came in contact with.

Great rooms! Excellent service! My wife and I stayed here with her company while attending a meal packing event for Maui families in need. Great place to stay. The pool and hot tub are both awesome. Beautiful place with lots of great amenities. Excellent breakfast for a great price too!!!!

Birthday vacation at a new resort with a great location walking distance to The Shops At Wailea and beaches. Welcoming open air lobby with cool ocean breeze. Check in was quick and easy with Jenver. Lots of parking stalls in a gated parking area. Room was spacious and modern. Bed was very comfortable and relaxing as well as the sofa. Beautiful ocean view from my private balcony. The poolside bar was very inviting as bartenders Jan, Mark and Darcie took care of all our alcoholic and non-alcoholic needs and would carry great conversations about their background and how they became a bartender at the AC Marriott. The Hawaiian magarita was my go to beverage of choice. Food orders came out quick for the amount of guests there were ordering poolside. Hanna and Melissa brought our food right to where we were seated, always with a warm and friendly attitude and smile. I recommend the pot stickers, chicken wings and furikake french fries. The infinity pool was clean and cool with a lovely sunset view. The fire pit was a great place to enjoy drinks and make new friends after sunset. The gym was empty at night and was well equipped. All in all, I would say it was a great vacation with a great experience at a great resort. I will definitely be a returning guest.

Don’t normally do reviews but this hotel was great. Breakfast is relatively cheap and all you can eat, the quality of the food is outstanding for the price. Late checkout til 4 if you have the titanium status. It wasn’t very crowded when I was here, the facilities are very new and modern, the pool is phenomenal. The happy hour is as good as a hotel in Wailea can be. I will most certainly stay here again.

I went to Maui for the first time and I fell in love! Beautiful place. I'm so glad that I stayed at this great hotel! The view from the pool is gorgeous!! Very peaceful.
