The food worth a 5 star! Good quality food with big portion and great price! We really enjoyed the $11.99 calamari, so good! Lots of calamari cooked perfectly, crunchy outside and soft juicy inside!
My grilled fish also tasted delicious! Fish and chips were delicious too, with not much butter outside just the fish! This is a great restaurant to go in Maui for the good quality, nice quantity and beautiful price!

I’ve heard people rave about this place, so decided to come try it for myself, and now I definitely understand what the hype is about - sooo good!
My husband had the fish tacos and I had the chicken, and we both ate every last bite on our plates. There are 2 tacos to an order, but they are so stuffed with goodness it’s almost hard to finish. Such a perfect harmony of flavors - the charred tortilla and the fruity mango salsa and the creamy cabbage slaw for crunch, oh my word!
It’s a counter service restaurant, which is nice when you just want a quick bite to eat. We got there soon after it opened, and by the time we left there was a line out the door. The owner came over to introduce himself and see how we enjoyed our meal, and said the restaurant used old family recipes. He clearly takes pride in the food they serve, understandably so, everything was top notch.

My family had a great time here. Staff was great. They gave us time to organize out giant crew before ordering. They told us time expectation for waiting for drinks and food that where spot on. The food was great. Fish tacos were awesome. Huge too, you can barely fold them to eat it. We tried ever type of fish and chips. Everything was great. The surf board table tops were fun.

We always prefer Coconuts original location in Kihei and find the food and atmosphere better than their second location. I’m not sure if it was the owner that served us but it was the best customer service of our whole trip! She was absolutely amazing! Incredibly friendly and helpful! Suggested the wasabi flavour for my husband’s Ono burger and I had the fish tacos! They were huge, fresh and very tasty! I would have been satisfied with one! (You get two!) we also got the French fries and they were delicious! The staff member and I had a wonderful conversation about a Canadian camper she is going to buy and travelling ! If you read this review, you are a huge asset to Coconuts and really know how to make people feel welcome to a restaurant!

Such a nice place with wonderful people.
The food was amazing, fresh and tasty. We both got rice plate with ahi and chicken. It’s cooked in coconut milk which brings a lot of flavours.
The place is so fancy and well decorated.
Service is super sweet, one of the lady explained how they cooked what we order.

Their Menu is super straight forward, and you aren't going to go wrong with any of their fish choices. We had the coconut shrimp and the Mahimahi on a bun, both were fabulous. Ordering is done when you walk in. Seat yourself with a number and food is then delivered to your table. Pretty simple.

Food is fresh and served up hot. Great tasting and with friendly staff. The only gripe I have is the place is by no means quiet, with many hard surfaces and large groups/families, the place tends to be on the loud side. Definite repeat next time in Kihei.

This was one of the highly recommended places near kihei and it did not disappoint. Their specialty is their fish tacos. They are giant tacos and with juicy fish mix of ono and mahi mahi. Their coleslaw is made of coconut milk. It's taste great on the tacos. Their fish n chips s great as well. There service was very friendly and prompt. It was great that I went there twice.

Love the surfboard tables, with plenty of covered outdoor seating! Food is always delicious. We make sure way here everytime we visit Kihei. My husband loves the coconut shrimp, and I live the deep fried mahi-mahi. Both Delicious with crispy "chips" (french fries).

Delicious and fresh tasting ingredients. It's not inexpensive for the amount of food you get but you can tell quality and thoughtful ingredients are used. Lot's of ventilation so we felt safe being without our masks. Employees are friendly and prompt.

Had some real good fish and chips here for lunch. The food was very tasty. Ordering at the entrance, friendly staff. Can recommend.

They were busy and even when the have a sign reading that they were under staff, the service was fast, they have an inside and outside seating. I enjoy seating outside even when the view is the parking lot and a hotel in front. The v inside was to noisy for me. But b everybody seen to enjoy it. The fish was well cook and I like their brown rice too.

Plenty of parking available, you must order everything at the counter before you can sit down. Limited beer selection, mostly local beer. Plenty of sitting space and surprisingly a clean establishment as well. I love the surf board style tables, nice design. I got the Poke Bowl Spicy, YOU CAN’T GO WRONG. The dish was delish, the beer was cold, the service was great, 5 ⭐ all the way.

Best fish tacos in America... for sure in Maui. So great. Grilled white fish with mango salsa on a perfectly crisped corn tortilla. Amazing. It's worth the trip to that side of the island even if you're staying in Lahina or Kapalua.. cool surfboard tables too.

Loved Coconut’s. Excellent value, good sized portions, yummy food. Loved the Gluten Free Fish tacos. The rest of the family loved the coconut shrimp. We ate there 4 times in two weeks

For being grilled fish tacos they were absolutely delicious rich in flavor.
Tuna on bun is another favorite. Portion, the flavors. Will definitely be back! The cabbage salad is delicious , something I’ve never had

Yep, the fish tacos were as amazing as the other reviews said they would be! The mango slaw was awesome and the fish was super tender. And the BBQ sauce with the Kaluha pork tacos is great too.

We came back a couple days later and tried the coconut shrimp. The meat was very tender, and you can see the coconut in the flaky batter. So good!!

We came at night. We got the volcano fries, Kahlua Pork on rice, Seafood chowder, and Coconut Shrimp. The Coconut Shrimp had pieces of coconut flakes. The Thai Chili Pineapple Sauce was sweet. The fires were crispy and so savory. The pork was tender and had a smokey taste. The Seafood chowder is a pass. The price was a bit high but worth it. The service was good. Definitely worth it
