AMAZING!!! The location is incredible but the staff are who make it always a pleasure for us. They go above and beyond to make our stays perfect.
Austin at the front desk is the BEST front desk person. He helped me solve a problem (not hotel problem my own with room change) with kindness and patience. Fast, efficient this is our go to place!

Great service, they even got our place clean and let us check in a few hours early. Pool was super nice and of course the beach was as well.

We stayed here as a family after the Lahaina fires. It was an absolutely perfect location. The water was easily accessible where we saw lots of sea life and sea turtles during our snorkels. Not fancy by any means and our kids loved the pool. Wish there was a hot tub and a restaurant but maybe they're working on it? Highly recommend especially for families!

Wish we could of stayed for longer! We stayed for 5 nights in the 2 bedroom Premium Ocean View back in August.

The room was very nice and spacious. The suite we stayed in featured the main room with kitchen as well as a second bedroom with it's own door and shower.

Kitchen had everything we needed. Full fridge, stove, microwave and all of the utensils / pots and pans.

The bed was very close to the lanai access and it was nothing short of incredible. Having the views from the bed and also the sounds of the waves crashing was spectacular. Sleeping was never a problem. The only minor annoyance would be that the lanai's on our side of the building featured dining sets and chairs that made lots of noise when moving around on the tile. You would hear that quite often from neighbors, but no biggie (ours made noise too). Would recommend some felt pads on the furniture.

Beach was very close and just a short walk. When we were there it was pretty crowded, but was easy to stake out a spot if you got out there in the morning. If you're a snorkeler, there is some reefs right there!

Staff was friendly and accommodating. When we go back, we definitely will stay again.

We spent 10 days here in June 2023 in celebration of our wedding anniversary. We paid extra for a guaranteed room assignment, and would do that again. We were in room 801 A and the view from our lanai was truly breathtaking. The beach and grassy area are so delightful, our room was immaculately clean, and well maintained with everything we could possibly need. We had immediate service as needed for small problems for garbage disposal, TV, and ice maker. Staff is great and very attentive. We also used the resort’s concierge and found Tracey extremely helpful. We have no complaints and throughly enjoyed our time here.

Room 801 Ali'ii Ocean View is incredible! Whole resort is quite nice with steps away from private beach, pool. Our unit was recently updated in design and furniture, and it has everything you need. Capped of our honeymoon trip nicely. Less than a mile away from all bars/restaurants. Pool, garden area is maintained well everyday, I think they are opening a restaurant sometime this year. One of the best things to do is watch the sun go down from the garden (pic below), will def recommend and stay here again.

My terminally ill parent wanted to go to a resort. Their staff and location was able to provide that for him. He had an excellent time at the spa, hanging around the beautiful balcony, playing cards in the restaurant, and live music downstairs by the pool. We did leave the resort to go do tourist type activities, but we didn't have to because of the range of what was available to us in the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and patient with him. I am eternally greatful. Thank you. I included pictures from the garden areas.

We loved our stay at Mana Kai Maui! We rented an ocean facing condo and enjoyed every meal we made out on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The Lanai doors are awesome! We were there for a week at the end of February and saw whales multiple times everyday from our balcony. The general store downstairs was very useful. Snorkeling right off the beach was great; we saw tons of fish and multiple turtles. Paddle boards and kayaks are available to rent on site. Would love to come back!

Stay was great, booked a privately owned condo. Grounds were immaculately maintained it looks like a golf course. They are under construction which we knew before booking and were not disturbed by noise or anything. The general store was convenient and the staff there were very friendly. The woman behind the front desk was great and very helpful. The man behind the front desk wasn’t the friendliest and didn’t care how long you waited for service it seemed. However with such a great location I would highly recommend.

The Mana Kai Maui Resort is right by the beach with private lawn chairs, sunbeds, a pool, and entertainment area. The sunsets there are gorgeous. We went in early August '22 and loved it there. The room was very clean, staff were friendly, and the location is great to lie on the beach or go on various adventures (which the hotel concierge is happy to direct you to incl scuba diving, whale watching, hiking up to the volcano Haleakala, among others). We had a really good time there and would definitely come again.

Beautiful lobby and grounds. Great location. We stayed in a privately owned unit, but I just loved this property!

This resort is absolutely beautiful. We went in August 2021 and had an upper level suite that was so spacious with beautiful views of the beach. We returned in August 2022 and had a small studio on the other side of the resort with a partial ocean view. Neither times were we disappointed with this place. The entire resort is well kept and clean, staff are friendly and welcoming, and the beach is a 30 second walk from the lobby. We plan to stay here again every time we visit Maui.
The only thing we were a little disappointed with this time was that the bar at the Resort was gone, which is where my fiance proposed to me the year before. But it looked like they were in the process of putting in another restaurant/bar.
All around amazing and beautiful place that I would hands down recommend to anyone looking to go visit Maui.

I'm always happy to stay at the Mana Kai! We usually vrbo a room here from an owner that we know. The rooms are good quality and the location is fantastic. There are several great restaurants and shops within a short distance, although it's easier to get to them by car vs. walking. There are probably differences between the different rooms based on who owns them, but the one we normally get has a full kitchen with good appliances and is very well-stocked with utensils and dishes. The pool is saline instead of chlorinated, which I prefer. They also have reliable laundry facilities, a convenience store, an activity planner/concierge, and beach and ocean stuff rentals on site. There used to be a good restaurant on the property as well, but it closed and the new one hasn't opened yet at the time of this writing. The beach is amazing and the views are perfect. Plus it's easy to walk to another very nice beach by following the oceanfront walkway to the north. It can be a little windy on this part of the beach but I like that. We have even seen whales out in the bay more than once! I gave four stars instead of five because of you have the large sliding doors open to the lanai, sometimes the wind can make a whistling sound through cracks around the front door. It's not often, but it can happen. It helps to open the front door a little bit and prop it with the doorstop, or to close the sliding doors. Some rooms might not have that issue at all, I'm not sure. I don't consider it a problem, but I could see how someone who is looking for a full luxury experience might get annoyed by it. But otherwise, five stars.

Wonderful resort with unbelievable views! The beach is just steps away and the pool is a wonderful temperature especially if you run cold. It was great to have a kitchen during our stay!

We loved the place and will definitely return. The place has a spectacular view, was very clean, and had a kitchen and all the necessary equipment for us to cook breakfast each morning. Was perfect for our family!

Absolutely the best view on Maui from the rooms at Mana Kai Resort on Maui !! Kewakapu beach is right there and the resort has a beautiful pool with a beach view.

This is exactly what you expect when you book a place to stay in Hawaii--palm trees, beach, views. The staff was so friendly from booking to check out too. Our room was clean and so comfortable. While I don't think I'd come to the Three Palms restaurant just to dine out, it's always a bonus to have a dining option on site. We were able to easily rent kayaks and snorkel gear on site to go out and enjoy the water--yes, we saw whales from the beach and while on the water, as well as lots of colorful fish in the rocks near shore. Assigned parking spots for each room with no extra fees are a plus too. It was hard to say good bye to this oasis.
