Aloha Bars Maui

Kirsty and her team were absolutely delightful to work with for our wedding at Olowalu! I am a cocktail blogger and we both love to regularly entertain for friends at home, so having an amazing bar experience at our wedding was one of our top wedding priorities. Since we were planning a destination wedding fully remote, we were a little nervous about how much we'd be able to feasibly plan and control, but our experience could not be more perfect with the ABM team!

For our drink selection, we had *very* specific (and complex) requests and recipes (down to fractions of ounces). Kristy and her team executed these to perfection and she was so meticulously detail-oriented to ensure the drinks looked exactly as we envisioned (things like the shapes of the orange peel swaths, the colors of the flowers, the shapes of the lemon wedges, cucumber rosettes, the consistency of the cream topping, the serving glassware and straws, and more). It was definitely a lot to ask, and we are so grateful Kirsty and the ABM team not only took on the challenge, but were so excited to work with us to bring our vision to life!

On sourcing the alcohol, she connected us with a local retailer (Wailea Wines) and had great recommendations on volume we needed to purchase. Everything was delivered directly to our venue, and unopened excess bottles could be returned...this made the entire experience super straightforward to plan!

On our wedding day, the team worked amazingly efficiently and we never saw a guest without a drink in hand or a line for drinks. We did not miss out on any drinks, and the team ensured *we* were able to enjoy everything we envisioned even through the hectic-ness of the day. For our guests, drinks were served upon arrival, directly after the ceremony, and the open bar all evening went without a glitch. We even had a post-dinner amaro bar, which the team flawlessly set up and transitioned to during the course of the evening.

We cannot thank the ABM team enough for making our special day truly phenomenal. Every couple has different expectations and priorities for their wedding...trust that the ABM has the expertise for anything you throw at them for your perfect bar experience, and will always put you and your guests first!

We are so happy that our wedding planner referred Aloha Bars to us for our wedding day! They added the aesthetic we were looking for that made our wedding feel classy but also relaxed and welcoming. We had three bartenders/ staff and they were so amazing! They were very attentive, and it seemed as though everyone always had a drink in their hand. They even made sure to keep an eye out for a particular guest we were worried about drinking too much by giving an update to us part way through the reception. They seemed to be very familiar with this predicament which made us feel at ease and like we could relax and not have to worry about it. The drinks were incredible as well! The smoke old fashioned was such a hit and the guava mojitos were so beautiful with the fresh flower and super cute straw! The process of planning leading up to the wedding was so easy with Kirsty, the owner. She has you fill out a questionnaire that covers everything you could think of plus more! Before we hired a bar service, we were so overwhelmed thinking of all the things that we would have to make sure were covered such as greeting guests with drinks, drinks while the bridal party was getting ready, how much alcohol to buy, what the bar would look like, what drinks to choose, etc. All of those overwhelming feelings disappeared once we started working with Kirsty. The pricing is based off of your guest count and is very reasonable. Everything is included in that price which makes it so simple. We loved the idea of not having to worry about choosing a silver, gold, or platinum package because you always feel like you are missing out if you don’t go with the top tiered package. With Aloha Bars you feel like you are getting the top tier no matter what and you don’t have to worry about add-ons. They provide every detail of service you could imagine and you get lots of choices so you can still make it feel unique to fit your wedding and style. Overall, we would highly recommend Aloha Bars if you are planning a wedding or event. If we could do our wedding all over we wish we would’ve just stood by the bar the entire night because it was the main attraction and such a beautiful setup.

We are so thankful that our wedding coordinator recommended using Aloha Bars…no other service could have been better! I have always been very detail-oriented. From the first email exchange with Kirsty, I knew I had met a fellow perfectionist! Kirsty has put a very thorough and fun questionnaire together for couples who aren’t local, so she can get to know you. From this, she and her team create a completely custom experience tailored to your tastes, from signature cocktails and personalized drink menus, to a variety of glassware and garnishes that fit your look, to the style of the bar and lit bar signage.

My husband is all about the booze, and I am all about presentation and aesthetics. We agree that Aloha Bars knocks both of these aspects out of the park. All of our wedding guests were wowed by the quality and beauty of our signature drinks, and thought the service was outstanding. William, the mixologist during our wedding, was so fun, but also on top of it and professional. Kirsty had suffered a leg injury and was in the hospital having a cast put on during the beginning of our wedding. Afterwards, she still came to our wedding to see how everything was and tell us congratulations…that’s dedication!

The first wedding vendor I’d recommend to anyone getting married in Hawaii is Aloha Bars. If we had them on the mainland, I’d be throwing parties all the time!

My Hubby and I booked Aloha Bars for our June 30, 2018 wedding and we could not be happier with the drinks, service, and FUN they brought to our event.
We hired Aloha based on a recommendation from our wedding planner, as well as the company’s amazing reviews, comprehensive website, and competitive pricing. From our first correspondence with Kirsty, the owner, she made us feel taken care of. She was professional, knowledgeable, charming, and enthusiastic about our wedding plans.
These plans included an open bar and two signature cocktails. At first my fiancé and I were overwhelmed with the number of amazing drink choices Aloha had to offer (see website for “Something Old, Something New, Something Muddled, and Something Blue” categories) and could not settle on our Bride/Groom beverages. Kirsty was understanding of our indecisiveness (LOL) and arranged a private tasting once we flew in to Maui. My fiancé and relaxed at Vibe Bar (in Kihei) while Kirsty mixed fresh signature cocktails for us to sample (complete with environment-friendly gold straws, orchids, and rosebuds for aesthetic appeal). Needless to say we were absolutely blown away by the quality and presentation of these beverages and in end we couldn’t just pick two signature cocktails- so we ordered three! I highly recommend The Kula Kiss, Honeysuckle, and the Lava Flow ;)
Aloha Bars was the cornerstone of our wedding. From the second guests stepped onto the property, the staff greeted them with cold strawberry daiquiris and made them feel welcome and relaxed. They worked quickly and tirelessly (there was never a line at the bar!) but made it look so effortless. Also, Kirsty killlllled it with the drink presentation and the guests could not stop talking about the magical BRIDES DRINK (yassss- that dry ice, Kirsty!!!). Ultimately, Aloha Bars did not disappoint. They kept everyone hydrated but pleasantly buzzed and the wedding would not have been the epic party it was without them (sooo much dancing haha).
This review would not be complete without an entire paragraph dedicated to Chanda. Chanda is part of the Aloha Bars waitstaff and she provided EXCEPTIONAL service as reported by my fiancé and my dad (father of the bride- VIP!). They each told me separately that they felt so taken care of by Chanda who was always attentive, asking if they needed anything, bringing fresh rounds of cold cocktails for the groom and groomsmen, making sure my dad’s wineglass was always full, providing water to keep everyone hydrated, and doing it all with charisma and a smile. All the guests knew and loved her so much by the end of the night that they pulled her up on the dancefloor! I now know she is a great dancer, too. You go girl! :-P

Aloha Bars Maui did all of the drinks and bartending for our wedding and we were blown away by their eye for detail and incredibly thoughtful process throughout the planning and day itself. So many of our guests commented on how the staff knew their names. The drinks were delicious! And they created such a great vibe, making sure everyone was taken care of. Thank you thank you for making our day that much better!

We cannot rave more about Aloha Bars Maui! As Wedding Coordinators here on Maui, it is of the utmost importance to us to work with THE BEST of the best, and ABM is definitely that. Fantastic drinks, impeccable service, beautiful glassware, bar selection, and decor ... Kirsty and her highly professional yet warm and friendly crew create the most memorable bar service ever for your event! Aloha Bars Maui offers the widest variety of delicious custom hand-crafted cocktails in addition to anything else you wish to serve, all in the most gorgeous presentation. They also provide incredibly accurate shopping lists you can personally use, or recommend a great local liquor shop for order and delivery at genuinely fair prices. We used both services for our 9/15/18 wedding at Kukahiko Estate, and we will definitely use both again for any event we have during our return visits to Maui. Kirsty, you all honestly rock! I seriously don't even know how to put into words the absolute incredible job Kirsty and her team at Aloha Bars did for our wedding reception in Kihei. All of our wedding guests were blown away at the service and hospitality that they provided. The staff went above and beyond all night to ensure everything went as smooth as possible. They were extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming to all our guests and made everyone feel so special. Many of our guests work in the hospitality and the wedding industry and they could not get over how great Aloha Bars is. I would recommend them to anyone getting married in Maui. Kirsty was amazing to work with and was very responsive. Besides the staff, the drinks and bar were unforgettable! All the drinks were so delicious and fun. All our guests loved it!! If you were looking for a bar service for your event in Maui, definitely use Aloha Bars! Kirsty was a pleasure to work with every step of the way! We had lots of options on how we wanted the bar set up to look and we definitely were not disappointed. Let me tell you a little bit about the crazy week that was my wedding... During our week in Maui we were faced with Hurricane Lane, followed by a fire, followed by a power outage. Dinners and events we had planned for months were canceled as were several of our guests’ flights taking us from a 40 person wedding down to 25. Everything I planned was crumbling before my eyes. On our wedding day though, I arrived at our incredible outdoor wedding venue Olowalu Plantation House and saw our awesome bar set up and couldn’t have been happier! Every single person on the staff was such a pleasure to work with. They were incredibly attentive and on top of their game throughout the whole night. They were really fun to be around and helped to create a party atmosphere that we wanted. All of the drinks came in beautiful glasses and they had all the little extras for the garnishes like flowers and beautiful straws. My family and friends are still talking about how much fun we had with the bartenders. Overall outstanding service!

We are so happy our wedding planner recommended Aloha Bars for our wedding day. From the very beginning Kristy and her team were organized, personable, and attentive. Upon arrival at the wedding venue the team came into the bridal suite to introduce themselves and to make sure we were taken care of drink wise. Once our guests arrived they were greeted with a tropical mimosa to enjoy while waiting for the ceremony to begin. Right after the ceremony they had cocktails and waters waiting for my husband and I and there was even a server who stood by to hold our drinks while we took photos. Our guests always had a cold drink in their hand, there was never a long wait at the bar, and they also provided drink service to our tables during dinner and the reception. The drinks were delicious, the presentation and attention to detail was amazing, and the service was incredible. I highly recommend Aloha Bars for your Maui event!

We hired Kirsty and her team from Aloha Bars Maui for our wedding at Olowalu Plantation House in January. Aloha Bars Maui was amazing and was a huge reason why our wedding day was perfect! The team was professional, engaging, experienced, and fun. The cocktails were delicious and well crafted. We had a guestlist of ~90 people and Aloha Bars made the party a blast. From start to finish, the Aloha Bar experience was a 10 out of 10!!! Kristy blew us away on our first meeting. She was kind, had great energy, happily answered all of questions, and came prepared with great suggestions for our wedding day! She communicated very well throughout the process and was always available via email,

The best drinks and the best service. We used Aloha Bars Maui for our wedding on 7.7.17 and we were so glad we went with them. They have beautiful glasses and cups that they use. Every drink came with a flower and every drink was delicious! Our wedding highlight was definitely our bar. They made the evening and everyone had a blast and complimented the bartenders. I highly recommend them!

Aloha Bars was amazing start to finish. Kirsty was very responsive and helpful during the entire process. It's not always easy planning a wedding from thousands of miles away, but she was great. They have so many options to make your wedding that much more special. We loved the special drinks we chose and my favorite was how pretty everything was decorated and the glassware/flowers in each drink were gorgeous! Our lead bartender was fantastic! Very friendly and attentive. Great experience!!

Kirsty and the team at Aloha Bars were just perfect, from the planning stage to the on-the-day setup and service. The questionnaire that Kirsty shared was very detailed and informative, and ultimately helped us understand how much alcohol to buy. They also had some AMAZING signature cocktail options! Once our shopping list was shared, it helped to know we could buy from Costco to reduce costs, but also return anything that we didn't use. On the day itself, the signature cocktails were not only delicious, but they were able to incorporate our dog into the wedding by creating rice paper photo prints that were added to the cocktails. Every time we went up for a drink, they were ready, efficient, and kept the party going until the very end! Thank you Aloha Bars!

Excellent, personalized service. Everyone at our wedding loved the bartenders and drinks. I personally don't drink alcohol and they made sure to have some iced tea options for me that were delicious!

We were very happy with Aloha Bars who worked with us for our wedding. They were great from the beginning, walking us through how to think about our options and possible cocktails to choose. When it came time to buy the alcohol they gave us a very detailed list that we were able to take to Costco and buy at reasonable rates. Their glassware and extra little touches made our wedding feel that much more special. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering them for their wedding or event.

We hired Aloha Bars for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. We were able to pick up our alcohol at Costco based off their recommendations. They mixed the most fabulous signature cocktails (highly recommend the mai tai with honey foam and the crimson heart). The bar set up was beautiful and so well organized and efficient. For 70 people, we had 2 bartenders and never needed to wait in line for a drink for more than a minute or two. Chanda(spelling?) was an absolute hit at the wedding and knows how to get a party going. Both of the bartenders (so sorry but can’t remember their names) were absolutely wonderful too. I could not recommend them more! It made all the difference at our wedding.

We hired Aloha Bars to do our wedding in Maui in May 2018. They came highly recommended by our planners and our venue and they did NOT disappoint! The bar and drinks were beautiful, but above all the service was **IMPECCABLE**! The bride and groom were very well taken care of by the entire staff, but most importantly the guests were served with such care and so quickly that we had people coming up to us all night praising us on our choice. Kirsty was incredible in helping us come up with creative drinks, creating an alcohol shopping list, and quickly and clearly answering the million questions we had for her every step of the process. Cannot recommend them enough! PS - Shonda, a server, was the BEST!
