Bodo's Bagels

They unfortunately don't have a drive thru and it seems to be pretty busy majority of the time. We ended up going back at a later time on December 23, 2023 and got blessed with extra bagels! We're definitely coming back for their great service 👏

Awesome!! These bagels are on par with NY bagels. Affordable prices, solid food, fast service even though they’re crowded. What more can you ask for?

Love it!!! They have amazing everything Bagels!!! The roasted turkey was great! I got a bagel with mayo, lettuce, tomato, muenster, roasted turkey, avocado, and bacon. I also had a pickle spear and a pomegranate seltzer water! It was amazing and only $11.80!!! Highly recommend!

You know how restaurants never live up to their memories when you have ben gone a while? I am happy to report that Bodo's is every bit as good as I remember and still the best bagels I have ever eaten. And I have eaten bagels all across the country from NYC to Seattle.

From the smell of baking bread to the friendly service to the divine bagels, it is all amazing. I love the deli egg and the turkey sandwich. If you like sweet and savory, I recommend an everything bagel with blueberry cream cheese. Otherwise, the honey pecan is my favorite.

Bagels aside, the coolest thing about this place is I can't tell if it's retro on purpose, or if they never updated their decor since the 80s. It felt like a trip back in time to childhood. They have bagel doorhandles and a non digital menu. When everywhere else in the world is a sensory overload, Bodo is a haven away from being overstimulated.

I got a whole wheat bagel with double egg. My girlfriend got something similar, but with the jalapeño cream cheese. I made a HUGE mistake by not getting the cream cheese. I went back with my card out ready to get some cream cheese.. the lady working the counter realized my dilemma and she took care of me, no charge. If I lived here, I'd eat here three days a week.

Finally. The coffee is excellent. I drink it black so it's important that the coffee can deliver on its own.

Bottom line - really excellent atmosphere, fast and incredibly friendly service, clean dining area, delicious food and coffee.

First time at Bodo's and it exceeded expectations! Cinnamon rasin bagel with homemade honey pecan cream cheese was excellent! The bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel was fantastic as well!! To top it off, the team members there were very friendly!

Love frequenting this place when I'm in town. Bagels are fresh, soft, and have the right amount of chew. Lots of toppings to choose from + the pickles are always good & crisp. Great customer service. Fast turnaround time. I like that this establishment has remained cost conscious through the years. Excellent value! Thanks for being an affordable option for the community.

Anyone who is a UVA grad have came across this awesome bagel shop. I missed their bagel and wanted to get it before I left. I really loved lox with onion bagel so got it and see if they still had the consistent taste from years ago. Well heck they did and they are still great, efficient, tasty, and high quality bagels. Their orange juice is awesome too. Try them when you are in town! =) drive through is super fast for how many people are in line!

Can not beat Bodo's for the price of a bagel sandwich or just a bagel. Staff is very efficient so when the line is out the door do not worry they have a very good system in place. Eating area could be improved, but I always get it to go anyways

Best bagels south of NYC 🗽. As a New Yorker, I appreciate finding good bagels. And Bodo's makes excellent bagels and their sandwiches are excellent (and affordable).

My kids love the salt bagels... The pictures are everything and sesame also... The bottom is toasted brown chewy on the outside soft on the inside. 😊 (Not too far from Best buy if you're looking for directions)

Is it bad that Bodo's is one of my favorite things about coming home for the holidays? If you haven't been, you'd probably say it is, but once you try it you'll understand. And don't let the line scare you away, it moves super fast!

As always, we had a great bagel breakfast sandwich. Bodo's knows how to do it right. Very efficient operation, even when quite busy.

This is an absolute classic, must-stop, whether you’re hungry or not. Take it home for later. The chicken salad is fresh! The lox spread is flavorful and the warm bagel sandwiches are melt-in-your-mouth!

The day we went, the staff seemed like they lost their best friend. The girl taking order looked bored, the fellow putting bagels in the bag seemed grumpy... We took our order to go.

Bodo's is the best bagel shop in Central Virginia, hands down. Great sandwiches, they make the bagels right, they taste amazing with nothing or a little cream cheese. If you don't stop here, you have not fully experienced Charlottesville. The wait is worth it at any time of day.

Bodo's is extremely quick and affordable. Breakfast for 2 for less than $10. My personal favorite is deli egg on an everything bagel. A cinnamon raisin bagel with honey pecan cream cheese is always a good option as well.

Fresh bagels and fast service. These people are professionals. We ordered eggs and bacon sandwich’s. Delicious. Will visit again. Highly recommend!
