Kinaole Grill Food Truck

I ordered the garlic shrimp and it was delicious! The salad was also great. After I had ordered, a guy walking by told me I needed to try the coconut shrimp…so I went back the next day and got that and he was right. So flavourful and crisp. Also, the staff were so friendly and efficient.

How come food truck food is better than that of restaurants? The coconut shrimp was crispy and fresh and Ahi bomb was a bomb! The chef said she cook her good with ‘aloha’ with high quality ingredients and I got that now!

This truck was such a pleasant surprise, so much so I had to go back for dinner the next night - and I was only in Maui for two nights. The food absolutely blew my mind, even though it’s a simple plate of wild rice, salad with feta and a creamy, sweet dressing, and a fried or grilled entree of your choice. We had coconut shrimp and calamari the first time and the mahi mahi and ahi bombs the second time. Both times were incredible.

My personal favorite was the calamari. There had to be at least eight sticks of squid. The portion sizes for all of them were generous and filling, even for a hungry person. The seafood was all fried to perfection, and paired well with the rice and salad. It’s all mouth wateringly good. Please pay them a visit when staying near this area in Maui.

Excellent food truck, delicious food. We tried the Coconut Shrimp and Crispy Mahi Mahi...both were so good. The salad and rice which comes with it was perfect too. The lady at food truck was very nice and had pleasant customer service! If you are in the area, do give it a try!

A minor note for future patrons: it's preferable to pay with cash, as the truck imposes a 2.75% fee for card transactions. While slightly inconvenient, this detail is easily overshadowed by the overall value and quality of the food and service provided.

Lucked out when I saw this little gem up from the beach on my walk from sunset. Read the great reviews & decided to try the seared ahi & what a treat. Not a fish expert but it was light pink and thick (closer to a steak) and the rice/salad were delicious too. The owner is the only worker and she is super friendly & talkative, so spread the aloha and enjoy the view of the ocean while you wait, it’s worth the time & money. 🤙🏼

One of the highlights of our recent trip to Kihei. The coconut shrimp is THAT good. Grilled ahi and Cajun and Garlic Shrimp excellent as well. Take it to the beach, which is a minute walk, and you won’t be disappointed.

So good we came back for more! We absolutely love their coconut shrimp plate and chicken katsu. The chicken katsu is thin and perfectly fried. The papaya BBQ sauce that it comes with is *chefs kiss* wonderful. The coconut shrimp has tons of flavor. We surprisingly loved the rice that came with both - it’s not brown rice, but is maybe cooked with soy sauce which gives it a brown color and rich flavor. On our second visit, our side salad was unfortunately smothered in dressing to the point where it was inedible (see photos), but we’re overlooking that since everything else was so good. Portion sizes are generous.

This food truck is SO good and such great value for what you get! The people running the truck are lovely and so friendly. The food is also all made fresh, so be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes for your food (it's very worth it!). Highly recommend the ahi bombs and the garlic shrimp! We ate here twice while visiting Maui and were super satisfied both times.

One women making amazing meals! It was all so flavorful. We split the garlic shrimp and the ahi bomb. Better than a 5 star restaurant.

I was nothing but pleased with my meal here. The grilled mahi mahi was exceptional as was the calamari, it was so good we came here twice on our 6 day stay. The lady running this business had exceptional customer service and was very nice. 100% recommend to anyone coming to the island

Overall my favorite meal from my trip to Maui. Closed on Saturdays so keep that in mind, we showed up and they weren't there. The coconut shrimp was the star of the show. An absolute 10/10.
Ahi bombs were also super delicious, the sauce it came with was excellent. Overall I give this place a straight 10/10, amazing dining experience.

Amazing food with pretty big portion! They must use good fresh oil for frying! Worth trying if you are in the neighborhood. I loved the coconut shrimp best.

Was searching before we traveled here today (Its our first time in Maui) and already saw this on Google Maps, and it was highly recommended by our lyft driver Jacqueline. We had Ahi Bombs with Mayo/wasabi sauce, their best seller calamari and Grilled Mahi-Mahi with Mango salsa (all dishes comes with salad and Rice). Two thumbs up👍🏼👍🏼

Loved the food. Calamari, ahi tuna were very good. The rice and salad were an excellent accompaniment. Atmosphere is whatever you make of it. We went to the beach. No seating area by the truck.

We went in July and I’m playing catch up on my reviews! The service was great and made fresh on the spot! The truck was steady with eager visitors excited to get their food! We talked to a super nice lady who was ahead of us raving about her favourites! It was nice to have a bit of a twist with salad and brown rice to go with our Katsu chicken! The portion was huge! We went across the street to KAM I beach and ate at the picnic tables with a beer from ABC! Highly recommend! The Katsu was really good and generous portion makes the price good! It is fantastic to support the community food trucks!

When i say some of the best food on the island, I mean it. Seafood plates. This food is definitely something to write home about. Very friendly staff and excellent service. We drove all the way from Lahaina for It but was well worth it. Prices were good for the quality of good. I had the mahi-mahi with housemade mango salsa and my wife had the coconut shrimp. Both were excellent 👌 the salads alone were fantastic and the rice after it soaked up all the dressing and other sauces 🤌.

I just happened to stop here after watching the sunset at the park across the street. Ordered the Ahi Bombs and was blown away. Truly a gem of a food truck and the service was so friendly. I might go back before my flight home!
