KAPA Bar & Grill

(June 2023) Lunch or dinner, the food is amazing. We dined twice here and kept talking about the lilikoi dipping sauce that comes with the fruit plate.

The bar is in front of the pool so the kids can go take a dip. The only requirement is that they dry off (wrap them in a towel) before they walk into the restaurant to avoid dripping water everywhere.

The restaurant has views of the ocean and sunset.

Food is great, but specially the steak tacos and burgers.

We had a great experience here. The waiters were extremely attentive, and came very often to refill drinks. The food was fine for the price point. I thought it was pretty creative how the restaurant stretches around the pool. I came twice and had a great experience both times.

We went here almost every day of our stay and we were really impressed by the ahi sandwich, ahi bowl and more. We didn't try everything on the menu. Also they have different menus for lunch and dinner. The lunch shrimp tacos is to die for. As we you can eat in the restaurant or enjoy their meals at the pool.

KAPA Bar & grill is amazing. We ate here a few times during our stay and every dish we tried was a hit(even with our kids). Hendrix, our waiter, truly shared the Aloha Spirit with us and made our dining experience so wonderful. Not to mention, you can’t beat the stunning ocean views!

Had a fabulous dinner at KAPA Bar & Grill. We loved the Poke Lettuce Cups appetizer (we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion). I had the A’lil Mushroom Galbi (a vegetarian dish), but high was fabulous. It had an umami, almost lobster-like, flavor profile from the mushrooms. I loved it so much that I might go back just for that. Our waitress was absolutely lovely, giving us an outdoor table which had a lovely atmosphere in the evening.

The food was flavorful and delicious. I had the fresh catch sandwich. The garlic aioli tasted great with the fresh fish in the sandwich. My eldest daughter had the tomato bisque and grilled cheese. She said it was the best grilled cheese she ever had. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the views beyond beautiful. It's a great place to sit and have dinner with the family.

A great pool-side restaurant and pub. The Mai Tai drinks are delicious. I had the catch of the day burger, and the blackened swordfish did not disappoint. The service was excellent.

Mariko the bartender is amazing. She imparts knowledge with the booze with a smile. She was the best part of my trip to Maui. Cody was okay too cause he likes soccer

Amazing food with beautiful views. Parking is validated. Great way to spend your evening exploring Marriott and enjoying the food and the sunset!

5 star bar food!! Everything here ya been amazing! I had the tacos, soup with grilled cheese and burger. Amazing! I bit pricey for a poolside bar but I can see why. Love it!

The food was delicious! We had the burger, coconut shrimp, and Kahlua pork nachos during our stay and were very satisfied every time we ordered. Everything was packed with flavor and cooked just right. We used the pool side service- Noah and Chase were awesome!

Food is great. Environment is excellent. There is live music every night by the restaurant. Also the sunset view is priceless.

Our server is amazing! She was warm and super friendly with children. The fresh catch of the day we had was mahi mahi and it was flavorful.

We were just around the area for our last full day on the island. Looking around for a nice place to eat we discovered Kapa, there was availability, a seemingly good menu and a nice vibe, based on images and other reviews. It was a wonderful evening made by the folks here. There was live local music and hustling, friendly bartenders as well. Of course working for your tip, but when you're paying for the ambiance or atmosphere the service needs to match as well, and it did. All the staff were pleasant and respectful, even fun at times. We chose both the fish sandwich and wagyu burger, excellently cooked and tasted delicious. I think the highlight for me was the Boursin Cheese Aioli on them both, no wonder it's on a bunch of items, it's pretty well crafted. Obviously the sun shifts with the seasons but the view from the bar, an intimate and luxurious space, can't really be beat, especially when you factor in a sunset view while drinking a margarita in Maui.

We went to the serenity pool bar near Kapa grill.The drink called Haleakala Heat was fabulous! The chicken wings were also great. Our bartender Bea took great care of us and the servers that surrounded her were full of life and good humor. We walked over 2 miles to get there and loved it so much we walked there again the next day. Oh, and a view is breathtaking.

The best fish tacos and "beyond meat burger I've had! Very tasty, cooked to perfection. Also, can't go wrong with ocean views. I had one of their mocktails, not pictured which was a great addition to the dinner. It is a bit pricey but worth it imo. Afterwards, we walked around the resort and enjoyed the beautiful property.
