Maui Kamaole by Vacasa

This place was in a great spot. Not right in the middle of everything, but close enough to get to anything we needed. The Oceanview from the lanai made it perfect. The only improvement I can think of would be including where the beach chairs and such are located in the binder that is in the unit. Everything you need is there, but we didn't find it until later in the day. I would definitely recommend this unit, and would absolutely stay again!

Individual owners, so you get what you pay for with rooms. This is as close to Wailea as you get in Kihei without paying thousands extra. You can walk to Keawakapu or Kamaole 3 for sunsets.

Absolutely gorgeous property that is situated perfectly close to a beach/park. It's an excellent location for families and most of the rental units have everything you need, including boogie boards, lawn chairs and all the sand toys. The units are completely stocked with all the amenities one could ever need if you like to cook. The sunsets are spectacular. Highly recommended.

Love this place! Awesome complex and would definitely recommend both to families and couples. Super close walking distance from the beach (casual beaches w good snorkeling) and also a short drive to Wailea. I totally recommend coming with a group and staying in different condos, it’s so comfortable and laid back.

We loved our stay at Maui Kamole.

We were first timers in Maui and our Condo was wonderful. It felt like home. The unit D202 was clean, quiet and although we didn’t have an ocean view, the scenery was beautiful.

It’s a short walk to the beach and a few good restaurants. It’s very central and getting around the island was easy from here.

Would highly recommend the complex and we plan on returning next year!

The Mayer’s

So happy that we stayed here. The location is perfect, you can walk to the park and easily drive to good restaurants nearby. The house is spacious and clean. Green everywhere, amazing views. There are grills outside, outdoor seatings/balcony and designated parking space.

Wonderful location near some gorgeous beaches with soft sand, that are wonderful for kids. Also located next to many great places to eat and some lovely little stores. The pool and spa were great. The condo we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. It was equipped with everything we needed.

Spent a week on a nice room near the Melia section, nice views with palm trees, a clean swimming pool and air conditioning. Feels like i wanna live there since i loved Hawaii very much. Will come back to Maui again, but not sure which summer would it be, but loved this condo.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Spacious and clean condo, well kept grounds, 2 beautiful pools, walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Very affordable and surprisingly comfortable. Thank you all for making our dream vacation so wonderful!

Our family had a great time here. The condo units were really nice. I wish we would have been a little closer to the beach, but the quiet atmosphere was really nice. Highly recommended!

Stayed for 9 days at a VRBO in a M section unit. The unit building was close to the beautiful pool. The condo complex was quiet, peaceful and well-maintained. Each section has a reserved parking space for the unit. There are about 4 visitor spaces for each section. I liked the convenient location to drive to Wailea Shops, Kamaole Beach, eateries, food trucks, grocery stores and specialty shops in Khei.

This is a great place to stay that is within walking distance of the beach and various shops along the coastal road. The rooms themselves are on the smaller side, but the appliances and interiors are excellent and look very new. One cool thing of note is that we had fresh bananas growing right on our back patio!

This is a cluster of privately owned condos. It is not an hotel. Some condo owners rent out their condos while some do not. There are owners who live in the complex full time. The pools are great. The complex does have lots of rules to follow especially regarding noise and pool etiquette. There are 4 different sizes of rooms all modeled the same but each owner furnishes their unit in their own way so some units are very nice and some are furnished cheaply. It is located close to beaches (right accross from the Kihei Boat Launch. Very nice complex to stay at.

We stayed in A115 (available on VRBO, Diane's condo) and it was gorgeous! You could see the ocean from the backyard 😍 There's 2 pools in the complex, both with hot tubs, and there are 3 beach parks within easy walking distance across the street. A great place to stay to get a taste of Maui!

Great location on Kihei Road that's close to the beaches, shopping and more! Just a short drive from the airport, and you're in paradise! The grounds are immaculately taken care of and there's ALL the conveniences and comforts of home. Outside grills ads to your convenience of cooking meals on site, but the location is close to tons of places to eat if you want to enjoy a meal out.
We stayed in Mike's unit K206, but toured several other units with a realtor while we were there...All werr top-notch properties.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The condos are very nice. They vary in size but are very spacious. Beach and shops within walking distance. Condos are equipped with full kitchens and there are grocery stores within driving distance. Strong in condo WiFi. Quiet and some units have in views. About 20-30min from the airport.

The “don’t be a nuisance to others” policies are very strong here, as one person noted. Did I have to tell my two young kids that we have weren’t at home and they couldn’t yell and scream? Yes. Maybe a lot. On the other hand, when they were going to bed a 7 PM because of their jet lag, did they have to deal with loud noises that kept them awake? No.
We stayed elsewhere on the island before we stayed here, and the noise levels day and night were quite annoying. We were glad to see the rules when we arrived, even though they are somewhat hard to comply with if your kids are of a certain age.
One thing for sure, if you don’t get compliments from all of your fellow airline passengers on how well behaved your kids are when you fly, then this place is NOT for you. A “let them do whatever as long as no one gets hurt“ approach to parenting will get you fined here. On the other hand, if your kids are great at doing what they are asked to do and you are looking for a non-chaotic place to enjoy Maui, this place is perfect.

We had a great stay in a beautiful unit. Location was perfect for us right across where we met the snorkel trip in the early am.
