Guggisberg Cheese

This place was an interesting place to visit. The Cheese and the cuckoo clocks had my head spinning!
The samples were nice, the employees were knowledgeable and helpful. Going there again, once we eat all that we purchased the first time.
If you like Butter, yes I said Butter! They have a Cheese for you, Amish Butter cheese. I absolutely loved it!! Just melts in your mouth! We also got a Baby Swiss Cheese Roll. We will have to go back for the Sharp, Swiss next time, Hubby won't stop talking about it and now the kids want to try it.

I don't even like Swiss Cheese but I like their baby Swiss. Definitely worth stopping by and picking up some cheese. You can see the production area from inside the store which is interesting. They have a good selection of cheese.

Going to the Amish country and not visiting Guggisberg Cheese is unthinkable! Unless you have a genuine reason not to do so.

The cheese factory is about two miles off the main road between Millersberg and Berlin. The store has a fabulous collection of goodies - cheeses, meats (not for me though as a vegetarian), hot sauces, jams and jellies, soft drinks .. I could pick up only as much as my helmet would hold - 4/5 types of cheese and some hot sauce bottles. Found the smaller pieces of buttery cheese really appetizing and at $2.95 a small box, I should have probably picked up some more. Very little salt, and a hint of being sweet, in fact .. simply wow! The horseradish flavored cheese was simply outstanding. I was indeed happy to have taken the small detour and fill my bag with the goodies. Next time I am here, I am going to have a larger bag with me!

We had an enjoyable quick visit here. We were able to sample and purchase some cheese. It was very busy, so we want to go back another time when it's less busy so we can look around more.
Upon check out our kids were given a coloring book, sticker, a hat and a fan shaped like a cow. They really enjoyed that and of course so did we.
We're looking forward to visiting again.

Had a great visit to Guggisberg Cheese factory. They gave me samples and they were all good. The baby Swiss is really good but the cheese called Ziller was my favorite. I bought some hot chocolate powder as well.

Great place. Very nice local people. Good selection of cheese and other amish type food. Highly recommended. As the ohio population changes its really nice to have these little pockets of Americana left.

Great place to visit and get some of the best cheese and snacks in the area. Staff there is fantastic!

This is a cute and popular store. We got some old favorites and picked up a container of "tidbits" which held a number of different bites of cheeses to try! No disappointments yet! Worth a stop with the kids for some photo ops in warm weather!

Beautiful area, been coming here since I was a kid. Small cheese shop not a lot of choices but nice, Friendly staff. Besides cheese, we always pick up the Vandalia Mustard excellent ! A place that is always one of our stops just whish the restaurant across the road Chalet in the Valley would reopen, sad it's closed since covid !

We visited here with family and we had a nice time looking around. It is cool to visit a place that has won awards for having the best cheese. Lots of many different things to look at. Their cheese is very good . Thank you.

This is such s fun visit. The baby Swiss cheese is really, really good. I recommend the Mediterranean style cheese!
The folks who work here are so kind and engaging to our children who wanted to learn about the cheese making process.

This is a small but unique store in Amish country. They have a wide variety of cheese, a very nice building, and a small garden. During weekdays you can watch them make cheese.

Delicious cheese, a variety of options. The garden out back is adorable. Plus, the drive there is beautiful. Well worth the trip.

Guggisberg Cheese is a nice place to visit if you're in Ohio's Amish country. The cheese is made on site (and if you're there at The right time you can watch the process) and most of the food they sell are made in the immediate vicinity. If you like cheese, it's a nice little side trip if you're in the area. Note the little details on the clock tower when you go, it's quite interesting.

Charming in every way, but these cheeses are for serious cheese lovers! There are plenty of various flavors to choose from. Read on the glass case above samples! We got a shock with cheddar-habenero. They are competition winners with their Swiss cheeses, delicious.

Best cheese that I have tasted! A very nice selection of different cheeses! The spreadable cheeses are nice to have around for unexpected guests!

Very good little shop. I tasted some cheeses and am getting some before we leave tomorrow to make an adult Mac n cheese when I get home. Definitely worth stopping.

Awesome cheese, love filling up my cooler up each time I visit.
