Fun, hopping place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great energy on Michigan Football eve. Lots of comfort food options. Salad and pizza options are particularly good. I had the margharita pizza which was crunchy and delicious. Great, friendly service. Oh, and of course the beer and cocktail menu is amazing!

This place is a Staple of Ann Arbor. Historic place to be fair.

The ambience is very a unique mixed in between an American brasserie and an English Pub - providing you with two different experience mixed into one unique place.

Nothing is mind blowing or over the top, it just a nice place to chill have a drink and food with friends.

Is it over price? Definitely on the high end $17-20 for a burger but nothing shocking for downtown Ann Arbor.
Is the food amazing? I'd say everything is good and interesting with a few very unique and amazing dishes (hint the Sriracha fried chicken Burger!).

Staff is kind and definitely efficient.

It is a great place, very Ann Arbor.

Loving it.

Great place to go to when visiting Ann Arbor. The outside eating with the steer blocked off made the night relaxing. The food spot on with the South Pacific Pizza and truffle fries. The beer flight allowed for tasting of several good and well balanced beers(Sours).

This place was just incredibly fun and great to go with friends. We went during midnight madness and our waitress was so patient with us despite the chaos. The food is decently priced and there are a lot of options. The pizza is a must try.

They have some of the best in house beer and food I've ever tasted from one location. There are lots of great restaurants in AA and there are some good craft brewers but Jolly pumpkin meshes both excellently. I love the JP burger and every sour beer on the menu, definitely one of my favorite spots to eat downtown. If only they would accept new members for the mug club...

JP is one of our favorite places! You can always find a drink and a delicious snack or meal here! They have gluten free bread for sandwiches, too! If you aren't gf, their pizzas are amazing! The rotating pizza always sounds mouthwatering... Friday's was Mediterranean inspired with feta cheese and kalamata olives. The nachos are always a solid choice, too, if you're not gf.

I always like stopping into any Jolly Pumpkin and the Ann Arbor location is no exception. I love coming here in the winter because the interior is very cozy and moody with lots of dark wood. The food is always good and the fries are a staple here. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it's consistent with typical Ann Arbor pricing. Next time we come on a nice day the back patio area looks really lovely!

Come here with an open mind and try some beers that you won't likely find in many places. They execute the beers very well. Bonus, the food is really really good. The nachos we got were life changing. Fun rooftop area (not sure if it was special occasion or not but the road was closed in front with additional outdoor seating). Great attentive staff. Great vibe.

Great beer and food. The truffle fries are a must! If you are a fan of sour beer, make sure to stop by if your in Ann Arbor. They have a variety and are constantly updating taps. The sours pair well with the menu and if you don’t want sour beer they have plenty of other flavors as well.

Great for a date night if you are catching a show at The Ark across the street as well!

Service was great, very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The food was fantastic, I got the lamb burger and it was very Filling, it was a huge burger with a plate of fries. The beer is delicious too.

Absolutely love this brewery, been to several locations. I think Ann Arbors is one of the most fun. Two story with great décor. Awesome beer of course, but you must try the truffle fries 10/10 and I also tried their truffle pizza amazing 10/10. Good service and fun atmosphere.

Great trendy place in downtown Ann Arbor with good service and excellent food! Two stories of dining space plus outside seating. Their menu has a wide variety of choices (including kids menu)…this their grilled chicken with Brie sandwich which was excellent; their fries are seasoned perfectly.

I got the Gamma3Dux double ipa, but it was really more of a cider it red after great and really packs a subtle punch.
I got the Perfect Fried Chicken Sandwich - and it is one of the best fried chicken sandwiches that I’ve had in a long time (The Eagle on Cincinnati still #1).
The vibe inside is cozy and welcoming. Unique craft beers to try, from pints to flights, pitchers and growlers. DEFINITELY a place to stop by when in Ann Arbor, MI.

A nice trendy restaurant with amazing interiors. Their staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I am a vegetarian and I can tell you that I was spoiled for choices here. They were ready to customize any of their dishes and make it vegetarian for me. The food prices may seem to be on a higher side, but they do make up for it with their excellent quality and above average portion size. In addition to their delicious food, they have quite a good collection of drinks.

Great selection of brews in a great setting. Neighborhood bar feel with great seating that makes you feel cozy even in a crowded bar. I was a big fan of the Cascara Gose with Coffee Fruit and the Passionfruit Wheat. Wish I was in town longer to taste my way down the menu.

Pizza was pretty good, nothing extraordinary. Service was quick and quirky and when one person in our party didn’t get his food on time, they offered a free meal, even without us mentioning anything which was much appreciated.

This place was truly jolly! I had an awesome time here.

- A lot of their beer is sour BUT not all. Great sours if you like sour, but if you don't, some great pilsner and IPA as well. My buddy who really only drinks Coors and Pabst would not shut up about their Pilsner, and he was reluctant to try it.

- Get the truffle fried as an appetizer. Seriously, don't miss out on these....

- The menu can be a little lackluster looking, because it's not like most restaurants with standard entree's but don't let this fool you!!!! The food here is AMAZING and you will be really impressed with the food, the menu does not do it justice.

Great service by the upstairs bartender! It was me and my wife’s first time here but we just got beer and it was quality with many different styles to choose from, defiantly a must if you are in Ann Arbor! Beautiful upstairs outside patio area as well.

Our table of six was great. There wasn’t too many people dining in but it was still a good time. The staff was great and helpful. It was clean inside and cool vibes. The beer and food selection was great and tasty. Easy parking in garage behind building with a short walk down Main Street.

The truffle fries are so good. And the JP burger was great. I really enjoyed the pickled cucumber as well.

One small concern was food and drinks took a long time. Not sure why cause restaurant was quite empty. But either way we were there to hang out and it didn’t bother us.

This was our second time here and we’ll be back!

My salmon had a wonderfully fresh taste and was cooked just right with a moist center. Thinly cut brussel sprouts and red peppers were sauteed but not overcooked and were perfect with the fish and white rice. Others at my table enjoyed their dishes, too. My wife really liked the quinoa salad with almonds and fresh greens. It was more than one person could eat but others at the table enjoyed helping her finish it off. I was glad to have only ordered the smallest "Tasting" sized glass of Bam Biere which was so sour I didn't even finish the few ounces. The sourness overpowered other flavors that I normally expect to taste in a beer.
