Delicious paella, incredible tapas, a fun and cozy ambience! A lot of money for not so much food, but the quality is very high and the plates are unique.

Came here with a group of 12 to celebrate a birthday and it was a blast and catered to a relaxing and long hangout- however, I have the service a slightly lower rating because from the time of asking for our check and getting out the door it was OVER 1 HOUR. Part of this was because of them trying to split the bill but after the first 1/2 hour we told them to just put it all on one and they proceeded to take another 30 mins to incorrectly split the bill. Otherwise, a flawless experience. Would definitely be willing to go back.

Food is good, but don’t try the vegetarian paella. Our server was new so wasn’t very good. A bit overpriced though.

Get the paella, but be sure to order it early at or takes 30-45min to prepare. Enjoy some tapas while waiting. The bacon wrapped dates are superb. The ginebra pomelo (gin and tonic) is really good.

Very cute Tapas restaurant with excellent service. We ordered 5 plates, as they recommended 4-6 for two people, but found the portion sizes to be very generous and brought leftovers home with. The sangria was great and I really loved the heirloom tomato salad - so refreshing!

I really recommend this restaurant and for sure I’ll come back to try other dishes. I recently moved to Michigan and wanted to eat spanish food so I tried this place and as a Spanish person who I am, I can say that everything was delicious. Not only the food but the service and the atmosphere was great! The flavors of each dish were unique, those ham croquetas with romesco and the cheese croquetas with the jam were the best!! You should try for dessert los churros!

Came here for a birthday dinner. We LOVE the mushrooms, shrimp, and the patatas bravas. We’ll be back to try the paella. The drinks were also delicious. Possibly the best food in Ann Arbor.

The service and food quality was impeccable as always!
The server even went so far as to mark each item on the menu that was safe for me to eat, since I have a gluten allergy!
She had recommendations for substitutions and all the modifications ready to go, it was a great experience.

The synergy of exquisite cuisine and a charming setting at Aventura in downtown Ann Arbor renders it an ideal choice for a special evening. I adore the pintxo de pulpo, which pairs wonderfully with wines. You won't go wrong with any dish at this restaurant.

Great place for a party of 4 or more traveling for work if you want to share and have a large variety of food. One paella is good for 4 or more people. I highly recommend outdoor seating in the courtyard after entering the restaurant. It's nice and cozy there. Outdoor seating on the sidewalk is just ok. Except for the paella, the portions are small. If you are building muscles, you will have to order a lot of dishes to get enough protein.

A phenomenal dining experience - excellent presentation, service, and quality. Of particular note was the pulpo - spectacular grilled octopus.

The perfect place to celebrate a special occasion!

Our Valentine's day meal was exceptional. If you are getting tapas, two or three per person is more than enough. The honey and cheese flatbread was incredible, as were the grilled prawns and the cod croquettes. Our server was attentive, personal, and knowledgeable.

Aventura is an absolutely wonderful tapas restaurant. The menu is fairly extensive, and it can be somewhat daunting to order. The staff were helpful in explaining some of the items. As this is primarily a tapas restaurant, items are meant to be shared. We had several snd all were excellent. We felt there was one misstep. Too many dishes were brought our at once. We would have enjoyed our experience more if items were brought out only one or two at a time. The other disappointment was the sherry selection. As this is a Spanish restaurant, I would have expected a nice selection of sherries. They had a poor selection of relatively mediocre selection of cherries. I would highly recommend this excellent restaurant for anyone who wants to savor wonderful tapas.

This place is amazing for tapas and paella. Our waitress Emma was great at explaining the menu. Our first time here and we will be back. Thanks. There's so much to try.

The tapas was provided in appropriately generous portions, and we particularly loved the gambas, which was fresh and delicious. The burrata was very creamy and complemented well by the tomato and pesto. In addition, we ordered the Paella Valenciana, which was cooked to perfection, with tender and juicy chicken, and the artichokes made it unique and exciting. Our waiter, Zen, was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, making our evening much more special. We will definitely come back again soon.

Update: We came again the following day, as we liked our experience so much the first time. Cate, our server, was very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the delicious mocktails. We ordered the seafood paella (Paella Arros Negre), which was fresh, and they kindly made an alteration to include artichoke. However, on balance, we preferred the Paella Valenciana last time. The sliders (Hamburguesas) were very tasty, tender, and with fluffy soft bread.

A fantastic place to eat. I had my first date here three years ago and the food is just as good now. It's perfect place to share some great food. The service was excellent as well. My personal favorite was either the gambas, patatas bravas or the chorizo. I would pass on the sea bass and the paella is a must order if you are in a larger group.

This is a great restaurant for a small group of friends to gather and share food. We were worried about some dishes we want to try but couldn’t find them on the website menu. Fortunately, the menu in the restaurant has more items than what you see on the website. My favorite is DÁTILES CON CHORIZO. The ARROZ MARISCO is also a must if you have a group to share. And make sure you save some room for the CHURROS. Great service too!

We really enjoyed our food & overall experience at Aventura Saturday afternoon! We tried some different food items & everything was delicious! The presentation was lovely & great waitress too. Sat by the window - nice view.

Best place I have found for legit paella around the Detroit/Ann Arbor area.

I am working my way through trying all 4 versions they serve.

The staff is absolutely impeccable with their service and professionalism.

The bartenders are top notch, as well. If you don't see something on their drink menu, just ask give them an idea, they will come up with something fabulous!

The food was delicious! We went on a Friday night without reservations, so the expected wait time was around 25-30 minutes. We were able to get drinks and appetizers at the bar and the wait wasn't bad. I wish I got pictures of our other dishes, but we were all very pleased with our experience.

This was an experience! Tappas style (definitely a favorite for groups)... from simple to complicated and layered. Aventura's flavors are amazing. Higher end prices but worth the cost, these dishes were prepared at their ceiling! Everything was wonderful starting with the attentive and knowledgeable staff and ending with desert (Churros) and coffee... Highly reccommend, a gem in downtown Ann Arbor!
