A great tasting lavender latte provided the right touch on a windy colder day. Just around the main campus at the University of Michigan. This sweetwater coffee & tea shop will not disappoint. Can’t speak on all that they offer, but the coffee is great. First time coming to this chain store. Much preferred over larger chains.

Nice little coffee/tea shop! There’s a lot of seating to work or read and the service was friendly and fast! I got the matcha latte which was amazing. I could really taste the matcha (which was good quality) so I would definitely recommend. We also got the ice passion fruit tea that was great too. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.

i love the atmosphere in this particular location, it is tiny, but somehow it feels cosy, and they have a pretty wall covered in pothos, it makes it feel more cosy.

Every time I go to this location I leave happy! Love their wide selection of quick, sweet and savory foods for when you're in a rush and need something delicious. Drinks are always lovely. And most especially the staff are always so sweet! They sometimes will even draw a cute pic on your bag or cup! Above and beyond for sure, thank yall for being so delightful!

Was in Ann Arbor for vacation, and felt the need to start my day with a jolt of caffeine. After a bit of looking around, I decided on Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea to kickstart my engine. I ordered myself the Roasted Pistachio Latte, with almond milk to make it vegan. The drink had a really nutty flavor, but softened just enough by the milk to be a lovely, warm sipper to wake up to.

The atmosphere inside felt just as warm and cozy as the drink in my hand, with local art along the walls and comfortable seats to cradle you close. By the time I finished my drink and headed out the door I was more than ready for the day.

Had some time to burn between tutoring a student and meeting my mother who had come down for happy hour on her way to the airport. I’ve been thinking about impulses lately. Nothing salacious. This was at 3:30 pm. It was cold outside, and I’m on a iced-latte kick. You get it: coffee now or sleep at night. Yet, I let that latte urge take over, even though sweetwater’s goes a little light on the milk (see Paige Utah review). One of my wonders is whether this is similar to what happens with the phone in bed. I started leaving my phone out of the bedroom overnight which helped a lot, but I’m back at it. Here’s the thing: when I open up the news page, a wiki article, a single video, I know I’m going to lose at least an hour. It’s an addiction, clearly, right? Caffeine is a drug, clearly, right? Or is impulse control a bigger factor? And here’s where I get in trouble—although this is almost certainly not true, I tell myself that part of it might be my soul rebelling against the notion that there is some correct way I should be spending my time. Or time can spent or that spending should be somehow someway responsible. Some people might call that perspective procrastination veneered. Anyway, it’s true that I like feeling alive. The latte here gave me more of that than most articles and videos (which have the worst aftertaste). Maybe that’s the difference.

Love these guys so much. I go there every day before work. I guess I have become a regular for this one sweet lady cause all I have to do is say I want my usual and she knows what that is.

Asked the barista to surprise me and i had a lovely lavender and vanilla latte! Also their cakes are so good. Good place to study.

A friendly coffee shop near campus, with coffee, sweet drinks, selection of pastries, and food. (I would say the choice is more than Starbucks, I mean they even got mac n cheese wt chicken tender)

If you are looking for a place to chat with friends, this is an excellent place to go. If you want to work or study, you can still come; they got a decent amount of power outlets. But I recommend you to go at night since the wifi connection is stronger.

Fantastic business! They have the best coffee, best staff and awesome pastries and bagels. I recommend the French Vanilla Latte! Alexis is super friendly and makes the best latte art.

Wonderful varieties other chains don't offer. Amazing help. My server, Solange, knew just what to create, when asked "surprise me."

I always enjoy coming in here. Whether I'm in Ann Arbor waiting to meet up with a friend or strolling around downtown, I always enjoy coming in here for a pick me up. Sometimes I don't know what to order and the staff is always willing to help with great recommendations!

The staff is friendly and quick! I never see them not smiling, and they could have five drinks ready in the time Starbucks takes to make one! Furthermore, I have enjoyed their coffee and tea to such a degree that I bought some for home use as well. Do recommend strongly!

My favorite is the imperial milk tea! It has strong tea flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. It reminds me of Hong Kong milk tea! I always order the largest size because I cannot get enough of the tea😁
