Very nice restaurant, prices weren't terrible, the sweet tea was delicious, beef and vegetable soup was very good. I ordered the jumbo pork tenderloin and it was good, but I did find the breading to be a bit bland so I could only give 4 stars for my food unfortunately. Everything else was up to par however. Will definitely stop again when in town. Also, the bathroom was very impressive.

My wife and I are enjoying a little piece of Route 66 and discovered this restaurant on our trip. The food is amazing, service is very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. Got the biscuits and gravy and french toast, personally I prefer my gravy to have a little more pepper but still not complaining. Definitely making this a frequent stop whenever we're in the area again.

Delicious food and good atmosphere. Was here a few years ago and noticed it’s been recently renovated although I do miss the openness of the old place, this new theme is more quaint. The service was friendly and fast. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area it’s definitely worth the drive. We were here in Christmas time and it was wonderfully decorated. Nice place and a must try!

We pulled off on a whim specifically for this restaurant when we saw it advertised on the highway. We were not disappointed. The diner is super cute! Awesome decor. The staff is amazing. The food was GREAT! So much of it we couldn't finish! Across the intersection is an old preserved Route 66 Tourist gas station. Definitely worth the stop!

Stopped by for a bit of respite on a road trip, and it's already a highlight. Great food, generous proportions, and it's CLEAN. This all goes with impeccable service - both efficient and polite. It looks unassuming from the outside, but don't miss it! The interior and the restaurant are perfect.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. I spotted this place driving by and just from the exterior I couldn't wait to come for breakfast the next morning. The interior is way more than I even expected, with tons of cool Route 66 memorabilia and a really neat old restaurant feel with oldies music playing throughout. The menu is large and has a ton of wonderful options and I definitely recommend one of the Route 66 skillets. The toast with breakfast is not your typical diner toast, it was this amazing marble rye bread. The staff were all amazing and we found out through conversation that they were all related and actually the owners of the restaurant. I would love to come back here again and will definitely make this a stop on my next visit.

Time for lunch on our trip down Route 66!
We found this location in one of the many booklets we picked up along the way. The food was Great! and our server was very friendly and right on top of her job. I ordered a Route 66 cheeseburger and my wife got the Pork Tenderloin. Both were well prepared and a very generous portion. We grabbed a few items from the gift shop before heading out and got some great pictures while we were there.
Great stop for lunch or dinner if passing through!

Driving from Peoria to Chicago, needed to make a stop for quick lunch. I was somewhat hoping for an old, rustic watering hole, but instead, this place turned out to be newer, clean, with great service. Despite the disappointment, it was a great place to stop for a quick bite. Recommended when driving along Route 55.

Great food, great environment! We were a bit sketchy as it was a few miles off the highway down a very empty road, but this place did NOT disappoint. Friendly staff, very clean, and delicious food. You can order breakfast or dinner at anytime.

Omg!!!! Not only was the service excellent! But the food was so delicious!!!! The kids got pancakes and I would eat them without syrup that's how good those are. The Philly Chz Steak was cooked perfect and the green peppers were cooked to perfection they weren't machine and they had just the right crunch. We also ordered the rib-eye steak sandwich that had so much flavor!! And the atmosphere very welcoming very family-orientated. It takes a team and a family to run a business and this place is doing it. I'll definitely be returning and bringing more people with me next time I come.

Drove out to Pontiac to view some houses to potentially buy, got lost and ended up at this establishment. Definitely was the only thing good about the horrible day we had. Food was delicious and our waitress was very polite.

Fun atmosphere at this restaurant! Needed a place to meet parents who are from Central Illinois and this fit the bill perfectly! Food was good and our server was nicely accommodating. My mom has trouble walking so they gave us a table close to the front door! If you are driving I55, check it out!

I travel all over the country for work Monday through Thursday. The fortunate part of my job is trying all of the great restaurants along the way. I stopped at the Old Route 66 Family restaurant on my way from Chicago to Springfield. The service was great, the fresh ham and bean soup was a treat. I ordered the ham steak (which was HUGE) that also came with two side, and to my surprise, a dessert as well. I chose the peach pie which was reminiscent of my grandmother’s homemade peach pie from Pennsylvania. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent find on the road on Memorial Day holiday. Wife and I were out and about on the motorcycle and decided it was time for dinner. Very inviting on the outside and super cool on the inside. We were fortunate to have Erika as our waitress who recommended the fried chicken. That was good enough for me so I went with that while my wife had chicken salad. She said hers was good while I can personally attest that the fried chicken was delicious. Erika forewarned me that ordering friend chicken takes a while as the chicken is cooked to order. It took about 1/2 hr for the meals to come out but we were warned!!!delicious chicken ( no shiny fingers after eating it). All the food that was supposed to be hit came out piping hit. French fries were large cut and plentiful and very hot. Cole slaw was plentiful and delicious ( home made on site)
Service was top notch/ambiance was in a league of its own and the food was both tasty and valued priced. Would recommend this place for a stop if you are driving down the road and anywhere near Dwight Il
