The Back Porch

So I have been hearing about this "off the beaten path" restaurant for quite a while and decided to take a trip to see what the hype was about! The hype is real!💯 The food is awesome, the service is great, the Lakeview is spectacular! Did I mention how great the food IS!🤦‍♀The prices are reasonable! If you have been wanting to go to the back porch, do not put it off any longer! Go, NO RUN as soon as you can!!🙂

First time here and we were NOT disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was great. We look forward to our next visit.

The food was awesome, fried fish I have ever ate. Everyone was so welcoming and nice and our waiter was the best. I didn't have my glasses to see what was on the menu so he volunteered to read everything on the menu and also suggested what was the best.You can also dine inside or sit out on the balcony that is built around the biggest most beautiful weeping willow I have ever saw. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that loves dining out near the water.

I went with a group of 25 other ladies. The service was great. We had a ball. I will be going back. Not too expensive and the food was great. T hey also offer a wide variety of things to choose from and it's cooked to order.

Very yummy tacos! It’s a very casual atmosphere with tons of tasty sides. We loved the corn nuggets. You can also feed the ducks for free. View is great off the river as well.

This is the perfect lakeside restaurant stop while on a Sunday afternoon drive. We sat outside on the deck overlooking both the water and the ducks. The food was amazing. I had the grilled catfish, he had the hamburger steak. The jalapeño poppers were also amazing. I highly recommend you make this little trip out to a great little hidden gem of a restaurant on Logan Martin lake. The wait time was a little long, but it might have just been because they were really busy. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and still give them five stars for wonderful experience close to home.

Very nice restaurant. The food was terrific. The service was okay but they were extremely busy so I assumed the was why the service wasn't the best. The employees were very nice.

We went today and the food was great. The service was great. It was clean and nice, it's amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you for 4 meals and appetizers that we all enjoyed.

Wonderful spot with quality homemade food. They are very welcoming and accommodating to guests. Nice casual eating area inside and a great outdoor deck on the water for nice weather days. Great seafood choices but they also have burgers, steak, and chicken fingers. Highly recommend stopping here!

Amazing Food and View! That is perfect much the best review of The Back Porch. I had one of the best meals I have had in a while here and was impressed with the size of the portions and that everything is made fresh to order. It takes a while to get your order but when it gets to your table it is fresh and tasty, but honestly it really doesn't matter because it is more time to relax and enjoy the lakefront views! Definitely a place that is off the beaten path that is worth the drive to visit!

Located on the lake, this restaurant does an outstanding job with serving fresh food and outstanding service. The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Great local lakefront eatery! The blackened Catfish sandwich was one of the best I've had.

Great spot in the lake for seafood. Ample outside seating - but they don’t take reservations so, get there early or be prepared to wait if you want to dine with a view.

Extra stars for anything fried at this place. The hush puppies and shrimp are to die for!

First time to eat at this beautiful place. food was awesome!!! Hot and so good. Sat on deck with awesome view. We ordered coconut shrimp ( medium) and seafood platter... delicious 😋

Had the tuna dip, smash burger with sweet potato fries and hush puppies. Everything was delicious!!

First time there. Me and my wife really enjoyed it food was great and our waitress was very on point with the menu 👌. We will return very soon.

Loved the catfish and the coconut shrimp. The shrimp are HUGE so curb your expectations. A small order would be enough to fill me up.

Sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had. For both sides, just get two orders of sweet potato fries. You'll thank me later.

our motorcycle group rides over here from time to time for lunch. the food has always been outstanding, the service great, and the atmosphere is wonderful...
