Zingerman's Next Door Café

This is such a great business! While looking for an authentic deli in Ann Arbor, MI, we came across Zingerman's. Close to downtown and the college campus, this deli draws an eclectic crowd that matches the buildings in which it sits! Comprised of brick buildings and neighborhood houses, Zingerman's has built a business that rivals a NY Delicatessen, bakery, and coffee shop all in one! This isn't a place you just visit! You EXPERIENCE Zingerman's!

After you eat a sandwich you can get a coffee next door. They have a great coffee and pastry selection. They also have WiFi so you could study here if you want. Plenty of downstairs/upstairs seating and clean bathrooms.

I'm glad I don't live closer. My wallet would be skinnier, and my waist would be much rounder. The cheese is amazing, and the gluten-free items are outstanding. I will be back!

Oh, so many memories of hanging out at Zingerman's during the grad school days, great coffee choices (sometimes with a free espresso shot, thank you) and love the multigrain bran muffin paired with Mayan spice coffee.

We wanted an after lunch pick me up after the food coma inducing sandwiches at Zingermans. Zingermans Next Door Cafe has desserts, pastries and coffee as well as pre-packaged goodies. They have indoor seating and share outdoor seating space with the Deli. Definitely has that indie coffee house vibe which is a good thing. Very diverse clientele which is to be expected in a huge college town. Service was friendly and quick. Our coffees did the trick. I'm wired. Very tasty cold brew with heavy whipping cream and SF vanilla syrup.

Great cup of coffee. Their house blend is a medium roast that is good quality. Nice dining area indoors and out. Only gripe, for a place with a lot of atmosphere and $3 for a small cup of coffee, it would be nice to have a real cup.

Legendary upscale deli with the best of everything from wherever they have to get it from around the world. Obama and the New York Times can't be wrong and neither can you go wrong here. Believe me, it's been my favorite place to eat in Ann Arbor since it was just the iconic brick building ❤😊❤. Btw, their cheesecake is great, but it's graham cracker crust isn't the real NYC version 😆

I can't say enough good things about Zingerman's. It's rare to interact with a business where I deeply connect with their core values. Oh yeah and the foods amazing. I enjoyed arugula, a cold brew, coffee, and a ham and prosciutto croissant.

Redone interiors, gelato counter swapped for designer chocolates, but the cakes and coffees are perennial A2 favorites 😍

Tried the La Vida Dolce Mocha this time around. A bit excess spice at first taste, but you get used to it.

Great place to bring kids! They have an outdoor area for playing and they are very hospitable to parents. Our toddler was having a tantrum in the stairwell and a barista brought us a coffee, it was really nice. Thank you!

I got the chicken salad sandwich, Mary's commute, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I would share a picture but I ate it too fast, also, the potato salad is amazing!

A bit pricey, but the sandwiches are good. Coffee and pastries are also very over priced. Food and everything is good. Would come back and the plain bagel with butter is so good dipped in black coffee. Signature blend plus salvador or holiday blend is good. Good service etc.
Love the lemon Couscous salad and free soda water from the deli. Overall: GOOD!!

This should be called Desserts Kingdom. As a sweet toother, I loved the Chocolate varieties. I couldn't try the food, but the coffee was good.

The best Reuben you'll ever have. A true foodies paradise. The staff's attention to every detail and incredible quality make this a incredible experience.

Love next door, so many wonderful things. But prepare yourself. Things here are not cheap

If you get one coffee in Ann Arbor please come here and get Dirty Sheed. It is my favorite drink and I think about it all the time. You can never go wrong with anything Zingerman’s!

I wanna give this 5 starts so bad. I come here at least once a week. The bread is unreal. The coffee is next level. Service is kind and speedy. But serving bagels untoasted with just one 4-slice toaster makes the experience slightly tinted. I find myself waiting in another line for an additional 5-10 minutes. Just buy a new toaster one more spice and watch business / customer satisfaction soar!
