I always enjoy viewing the log cabin! The dig room is pretty cool with having the kids interact. Plus so much more.

We definitely enjoyed our visit to the Bell County Museum. We were greeted as soon as we came in and he made us feel welcome. We liked the exhibits very much, especially the one with the early modern era artifacts. It was nice to see that they have interactive activities for the kids in different areas of the museum. They also have a gift store and a library/ research area. Definitely worth a visit when you go to Belton.

This is a great, and free, museum in Belton! There are two floors full of a ton of information, and the one staff member I interacted with was super cool and talkative! I really enjoyed spending some time here.

They also have free parking for visitors behind the building.

Amazing local museum! Many of the exhibits have interactive components. The exhibit festured now featuring quilts is beautiful and features local pieces.

I enjoyed the museum. Our tour was self guided. The rotating exhibit is currently the postcard collection.
The interior is rather small, you could study everything in it thoroughly and be finished in a couple hours.

Really enjoyed our visit to the Bell County Museum. We had about an hour to kill in Belton before needing to leave and saw the museum on Maps and stopped on by. The museum is free to enter and contains a number of artifacts and exhibits that tell the history of the area. Part of the museum is inside of the old Carnegie library which has a neat history of its own. If you have the time, the Bell County Museum is definitely worth your stop!

My kid else my aunt and I stopped by here for spring break. It was a very informative and clean museum that we all enjoyed and learned a lot from. They had extra activities for the children on the second floor, which we enjoyed. The curator of the museum was very informative and funny. Thanks for an enjoyable time.

Beautifull exhibits!
Pristine facility. Warm welcome, and accommodating for special needs. Also, Thankyou Steve, for your help and information. So glad we made the trip (and will enjoy that huge book on our trip back home to Kansas City)

It is wonderful to have this in our small town. They do a great job educating the kids and adults about the area. From pre-history to modern, they have done a fantastic job preserving these artifacts and lessons. Thank you!

What a surprisingly great experience! All galleries are free and it's a great way to learn some Central Texas history and archeology.

The gift shop is worth visiting by itself. They have curated a selection of affordable gifts and their gem and geode prices are half what you'll find elsewhere. Not only do they have a good selection, you can experience breaking open a geode yourself in store. An amazingly fun experience for less than $5.

As a teacher, I would totally bring kids here. Some nice hands on interactive exhibits for kids (and adults too). Very nice to learn about the local history of Bell county, and curators are very friendly. Plus it is free!

Free museum? Need I say more? It is small but has great displays of local history. It was also on mysteries at the museum! They always have kid activities too.

I'm new to the area and this was my first visit. Can't wait to see how the renovations turn out. My 6 year old and I loved the museum. Tons of interactives for her and lots of interesting stories for me. We go to a lot of museums and this impressed me. I can't wait to support this museum in the years to come and watch it continue to grow.

The museum also has lots of great events coming up that they told us about. The staff were great and supper friendly. We will be comming back for years to come.
