McWha Book Store

My husband is the biggest military history nerd I have ever encountered. We were strolling through the shops a few days ago and James snuck away only for me to find him (surprise, surprise) in a bookstore. And when I tell you I have never seen him more overjoyed to have a whole section full of his favorite genre, I mean he was in there for awhile. We will definitely be back!

Cute little Book shop in the heart of Belton. The staff are very sweet and kind. They have a lot of variety of books and very old school books. You should go check them out! I highly recommend it.

This is a delightful little bookstore! Right in the middle of downtown Belton, across from the courthouse, its shelves are packed with new and used treasures. They even have a prominent display of books by local authors, including yours truly! The owners can help you find or order just about any book or author you're looking for. They also take trade-in credit. If you enjoy reading, definitely check it out!

Great little used book store. I have so many treasures here. Do not be deceived, The store looks small but they have made great use of the space and there are so many books!!!!! They give some books away also, so if you walk in on a good day you get a free book with your purchase.

My wife and I went to check out this bookstore after eating lunch and we ran into a hidden gem in downtown Belton. I love books and especially old used bookstores. They are what I would describe as a mostly Christian and a conservative bookstore but they have every genre of books you can find. I will definitely be coming back. I could have easily spent an hour or two looking at different books. The people complaining and leaving bad reviews just because they are a Christian bookstore or they are"too" conservative are free to leave or take their business elsewhere. It's their own bookstore and business and they can do what they want. Plain and simple. In the meantime they have a lot of customers and they are a huge success. I almost forgot to mention. You get a FREE book along with a purchase.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. First of all, they actually have a ton of books. Sometimes local bookstores don't have a wide variety, but this place totally does. Floor to ceiling bookshelves on every single wall. And they carry all sorts of stuff that mainstream bookstores don't bother with. Did you know there was a genre of cat-themed murder mysteries? Me either, but I do now! I love it. Plus, the owner is super nice, and helpful. And you get coupons and sometimes a free book when you check out. And there are some chairs so you can really take your time looking. I will be back, and I can't wait to bring my husband there too! Bibliophiles delight!

If I had more time and money I would have been there longer. Great selection, great pricing for books. They even offer new books at the front. Don't forget to bring a bag of books in for a fair exchange!

What an amazing little store! If only been twice but I've found some spectacular rare finds. This last time was when I found two books on my white whale list just sitting there, waiting for me.

Lovely little used bookshop, packed to the brim with all sorts of fiction and non-fiction titles. Their paperback romance section alone is worth the visit.
Books are half off the cover price and any books you bring in to donate are worth half off the cover price in credit.
If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by. You never know what gems you'll find in the stacks!

Very cool, old book store. It's narrow and had a bunch of tiny rooms, but every nook and cranny- floor to ceiling- is stacked with books. Oddly enough the scifi section has almost an entire book case for star trek novels and there's also many antique books hanging around. Most paperbacks are priced nice and cheap so it's not near as expensive as other new book stores. I really enjoyed the experience of wandering around an old quiet book store, not knowing what forgotten, out of print, or even new books I might findNa

The selection of books is great! The customer service is exceptional. Local authors get priority display at the front of the store just inside the front door. Bargains galore! Great bookstore!

I always leave with more books than I bring in! The owner has a good variety to browse.

Go for the nostalgic atmosphere alone.
I sell my own books and have done signings there and every customer leaves happier for the visit whether they make a purchase or not.
