America's Empanadas Chilean Food

Very clean and cozy establishment. The food was delicious and service was excellent, the owner was very sweet and easy to talk to while giving her recommendations for a first time visit. I got the lentil soup and baked beef empanada, needless to say I'll be going back to try each of their menu items. Glad to see another great spot opening up in Kingsport.

I lived in Chile as a teenager, and I love the food, so I was excited to try America’s Empanadas. The food did not disappoint! The empanadas de pino were just like the one I remember eating years ago, and the flan was delicious. The owners were also a delight to talk to. They asked me about my time in Chile, and we had a great conversation while waiting for our order to be ready. Will definitely go again!

This is by far THE BEST restaurant I have ever been to. Coming from a business woman, who has traveled to Chile, I can share with you that it doesn't get better than this. From the empanadas to the lentils and the delicious hot sauce, not to mention the steak sandwich my husband had. I am very impressed as to what America (the owner) has to offer to the community in the Tri Cities area. This is a must see, I recommend it to anyone who has a desire to explore new cultural food.

WOW my taste buds have never been happier ! This was by far the best chilean restaurant I have ever been too. The food was delicious and so amazing! The place was so clean and cozy I HIGHLY recommend this place. It was so authentic, i felt like I was all the way in Chile. The place is also ran by the sweetest people I have ever met. It really added some culture to Tennessee. Give it a try you’ll love it! I know i sure did and will DEFINITELY be coming back.

This place is AMAZING!! Some of the best authentic Chilean food I have ever tasted! And it’s right here in beautiful Tennessee!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Your taste buds will only crave their secret green sauce and amazing empanadas! They serve their food buffet style, so you better stack up on those empanadas and classic Chilean dishes! The owners are wonderfully nice people!! I will be eating there everyday!

If you have never had Chilean food-this should hands down be the first you try! Even the luckiest of eaters will LOVE her recipes! When she was in Maryland America’s meals were a weekly go to for my family!❤

Recently moved from South Florida and have been seriously missing empanadas. I was so happy when we found America's and the food did not disappoint! The beef and chicken are some of the best empanadas I have ever had. I will be making the hour trip to come back. Definitely give it a try and support a wonderful local business!

The food is amazing and so is the service. The owner is an absolute sweetheart and really makes you feel like you’re family. I’m confused why this place has any negative reviews at all. You’re going to an empanada restaurant and you expect American food? Doesn’t make much sense to me.

This place is sooooo good! The authentic flavors made my taste buds dance. I needed a place that wasn’t just regular boring food. I’m so excited to come back and have delicious empanadas! We are so thankful to have the opportunity to try a little taste from other country in our town. The food is delicious, Chilean empanadas are very tradicional, I tried in different places and no one compared to this place. We’ll definitely come back to this place!!! Highly recommended.

If you are looking for truly authentic Chilean food, look no further. The owner, America, is so sweet and accommodating. (The restaurant is named after her, not the after the USA.)

I went with my sister and the food was incredible. We’ve tried empanadas across the nation in other big cities ( DC, LA, NYC) and at various Latino/Chilean festivals and I’ve never tried empanadas as authentic tasting as these.

Please note that traditional piño empanadas (from Chile) have a specific recipe that call for hard boiled eggs & raisins (Chile are known for their grapes & wine). There are empanadas from all over the world and all are different, but these specifically are Chilean.

Might not be for everyone, but give it a try (especially with some red wine). If you aren’t willing to take a chance on the piño empanadas, the cheese empanadas are bound to please picky eaters.

These are absolutely the best empanadas I’ve ever had! We have been searching for authentic food since we moved to the Tri-Cities and this is it. You can tell the owners put their heart and soul into their food, it’s just so good! Thank you, we will be back for sure.

These empanadas are so AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS. I enjoyed them and could tell how much love is put into them. I actually got to meet the owner and her name is America (hence the name) she is so lovely and warm. I will definitely be back to enjoy more of her delicious empanadas.
Her food is Chilean and does NOT need to be "americanized" - especially not for people who most likely lack taste buds and feel so entitled that they believe foods from other countries need to be changed for them. Please stick to hotpockets if that is the case for you.

This place is great and America is the sweetest! The empanadas are delicious and traditional, and her flan & cocoflan are hard to beat! Such a treat for downtown Kingsport! Branch out and try this tasty little place, you won’t be disappointed!!

I had a very nice lunch at America's today. The Empanada de Pina was delicious and felt very authentic. I also tried the Ham & Cheese, which was excellent comfort food for the cold weather. It is fun to have another unique dining choice in Kingsport. I hope to see America's grow and thrive here!

P.S. Sorry to break it to any confused gringos but "Chilean food" means food from Chile so if you came here expecting anything other than that, I hear McDonald's has an awesome bland hamburger for those of you who lack a palate for flavor.
