Blue Wave Adventures Dolphin Watch Tour

I've never seen dolphins before (we're from NH) so this was a very cool experience. We saw quite a few dolphins and the people giving the tour were very informative and entertaining. They pulled a cannonball jellyfish out of the water for everyone to see/touch also which was pretty cool. I also must say they were extremely kind to wait for us, as we were running late for the tour. So we are very grateful for that!

Captain Jamie and Amy were the best, most unexpected addition to our vacation. We didn't see one or two dolphins. We got to see at least 60. The knowledgeable and friendly crew was just the cherry on top of the whole excursion. Their love and appreciation for dolphins was evident in their actions and words. They care and do things the right way. Thank you so much for the enjoyable morning!! :)

I have done almost all the dolphin cruises in the area and this is by far the best one!! I had a friend in town and this was just a great way to get out on the water and see our community from a different perspective. We did the premium tour and it was fantastic. We got to see dolphins jump out of the water - so thrilling. The captain had so much knowledge of the area and of the animals. They even mentioned Atalaya and Anna and archer which is my favorite place/people of Myrtle beach. I will definitely be bringing my family/friends to do this when they come to town!

One of the absolute coolest experiences we've ever done! Captain Jamie and Amy's knowledge of the area was beyond extensive! They brought us to an area where we easily saw over 75 dolphins throughout our trip! Highly recommend! 10/10 would do again!

Awesome tour. Crew was fun and very informative. Able to navigate us straight to multiple dolphins! I like this is a smaller boat compared to some of the larger cruises. Well worth the money!

I've gone on this tour multiple times over the past few years, and can't talk highly enough about it! I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else in the grand strand. No one else can compare to Mark and Amy, and how much they care about these dolphins! Ticket prices are very reasonable and the tour is enjoyable, even on the off-chance we don't see any dolphins, it's always worth it.

Very clean, new boat with plenty of seating. Captain and crew were knowledgeable and entertaining. We spent just the right amount of time on the water and saw plenty of dolphins! Would definitely recommend!

This was the second year in a row we chose this company. Last year unfortunately we didn’t see any dolphins but like the captain says, it’s not sea world and they arnt waiting for us to arrive. We were not disappointed at all because the ride was great and the captain was very informative and great. We went today and saw quite a few dolphins and again had a great ride. One question though, what are those little white/clear flying bugs out there called? Great tour! Will definitely ride with you guys again!

We couldn’t have had picked a better day for a dolphin tour! The weather was beautiful and the guides were very fortunate to find a pod of dolphins that entertained us for the majority of the hour and a half we were out with them. They are very knowledgeable on the animals and you could tell they Loved doing this! It wasn’t just a job for them. I definitely learned a lot about Dolphins that day and we even got to hold a jelly fish! The kids were pretty impressed and so were we! I highly recommend using this service if you’re in the area! Absolutely worth it!

You can tell the crew is deeply concerned about the health of our oceans. I love how knowledgeable the captain was about the environment and the dolphins themselves. You can tell this isn't just a job, it's a passion. We plan on making this a regular part of our time when we let the kids visit their grandparents out here.

Also, my kids are now picking up trash they see on the beach to "help the ocean". This crew has made an impact on their lives. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing experience. The captain was very knowledgeable not only about the dolphins, but all the wildlife around us including the hammerhead we saw. We had lots of laughs and lots of fun. Definitely recommend!

I enjoyed this tour so much. I would definitely recommend this one over others in the area. We seen a bunch of dolphins and learned so much from the two people on the boat. They were very knowledgeable and made sure they kept a safe distance but enough for everyone to enjoy. There was no bad side of the boat you seen them all over.

We had the best time watching dolphins today!! The crew did an amazing job finding us soooo many dolphins and they were very knowledgeable about every aspect of our adventure. I would give 10 stars if I could!!

This was a magical experience! We took the 8am tour and saw so many dolphins! Captain Jamie was hilarious and very informative! Make sure you bring money to tip and buy an amazing plaque of your picture at the end! We will definitely be back!!

First time doing this , and it was amazing ! Ignore all the people that leave bad reviews just because they don’t see dolphins . Nobody can control Mother Nature and that’s that . Overall great experience and great captain . My girlfriend and myself would do it again !

A fantastic experience! We took the 7:45 dolphin cruise out. The slow ride out of the inlet gave us a chance to see the beauty of the marsh as well as hear information from the knowledgeable and witty Captain Mark! We encountered several pods of dolphins as well as a loggerhead sea turtle, bait balls of fish and numerous birds. The captain gave all sides of the boat plenty of viewing opportunities, with some respectful distance of the mother and calves in the pod. During our observation we were told about the dolphins and encouraged to ask questions as well. We were fortunate enough to have an on-board marine biologist who answered many questions in depth with information I had not heard before. It was great having Lexi aboard! Lastly, I was most impressed with the ethical and environmental standpoint of the tour, which stressed the preservation of these beautiful creatures and of the seas. Blue Wave definitely has my vote as the top dolphin excursion!

Blue Wave is an awesome thing to do for young and old alike. We had Captain Jaime & Owner Amy on our adventure. They were both super entertaining and knowledgeable and you could tell that they were passionate about their jobs and the dolphins. They make sure and explain to you that there’s no guarantee that you will see dolphins but they went out of their way to spot dolphins for us. I was OK if we came up empty handed because the boat ride was awesome on their custom 1000hp boat! On our adventure we spotted several dolphins in different areas and also several turtles. The adventure was not only informative about dolphins, but also the area and history behind it. This adventure was also easy on the wallet, parking was free(confirmation e-mail was very clear about parking details and make sure you have your vehicle license plate number when checking in on site for the free parking code) We would definitely take part of this adventure again! Keep up the great work!

Had so much! Family and I were in town for our annual beach week vacation and wanted to do something a little fun. We heard of dolphin boat tours and booked with Blue Wave. They exceeded our expectations! Our captain made the trip. He was so nice and extremely knowledgeable. Not only did we get to see dolphins, but we learned so much about them as well as ocean conservation which I loved, especially for all the kids! Would highly recommend a tour. We will definitely be coming back our next beach vacation! Thank you Blue Wave!
