Hayashi Sushi

We were visiting Kelowna for a month and during that time I tried sushi 4 times. To say this place was the best is an understatement. Growing up my dad had several sushi restaurants and as much as I hate to say this.. this is the best Japanese food I’ve ever had, even better than my dads who received the highest rating form the Chicago tribune. (I’m the from the states) every bite was perfect. Its been a long time being to is full and happy!

Hayashi Sushi is my favorite sushi restaurant. The quality and price are unbeatable on the Grand Strand. I really like the size of the rolls too - not too big, but not too small either, and with the price, you can order a variety. The inlet roll and the sweet potato roll are a must order and are my favorites.

Since moving to Murrells Inlet I’ve been searching for a quality sushi place! I tried Hayashi for the first time last night and it will now be my go to place. I ordered the yummy roll, and the fugi mountain roll. Everything is fresh and has wonderful flavor. They do not offer inside dining, but the beach is just a short drive down the road from it.

Very relaxed atmosphere here. Very very very good food. Never thought that rolls and sushi can taste this good! Feels super fresh. And the service is nice, too.

Welcome a new addition to Murrells Inlet. A great little sushi bar with a very nice selection and great prices.

We posted up at the sushi bar and got a lot of stuff. Everything was great. I highly recommend the Nobu roll and the Jalapeño roll.

Absolutely authentic and amazing Sushi. No idea why this place is take out only as the inside is nice with decent seating. Must be a current staffing issue. Absolutely recommend!

Secret of the inlet, best sushi I have had. Service was fantastic, family owned so you know the effort is put in. I suggest the Hidden Dragon and Inlet rolls!

The best sushi. All of it is 10/10 party tray is a great deal for a group of 3-4.

We love to camp at Huntington Beach State Park, and Hayashi is 10 minutes or less away. We tried it for the first recently, and it was FANTASTIC! The service was great, the food looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Everything we had was a treat for the tastebuds. The location and interior are unassuming and simple. AKA, not fancy, but don't let that full you; the food is fancy!

Some of the best sushi I've tasted! Always tastes super fresh, incredibly friendly staff, and quick take-out times. Just wish they had sit-down dining available but regardless, the sushi is delicious!

Top quality takeout sushi. Highly recommend the Yummy Roll, Fantastic Roll, the Tomo Roll, and even the simpler Sweet Potato Roll - every ingredient fresh and flavorful!

Bake Scallops and Tuna Martini with Apple were so delicious. The price is reasonable not expensive at all.

Best sushi in the area by far! We get take out from here once a week and it never disappoints. The rolls are so fresh and the menu is fantastic.

The BEST sushi on the grand strand no doubt! I have been all over the country and this is my favorite place in town! Worth the drive, so fresh and delicious!

Went there for dinner recently and were very pleased. They were very busy but we had reservations and were seated very quickly. Everyone was friendly and professional. This is one of those typical hibachi style place but well above average. Quality of food was very good and most people went home with leftovers. Obviously a very well run place. Compliments to management .... we are locals and will be going back.

Wow What an absolutely wonderful surprise and a much needed sushi retreat in Murrells Inlet. So clean. So fresh. Fantastic owners. It’s a cant miss stop if you’re headed North or South. Right on 17 Business and one of the most laid back, comfortable sushi place with an abundance of choices. Both hot and cold. We tried 6 items and they were all perfect.
Enjoy. We sure did.
