My first contact with Anthony Caywood, Broker in Charge at Coastal Key Group, was when I inquired about a property listed by another agent in his office. That property had already been sold, but Anthony spent quite a long time with me on the phone listening to what type of properties my husband and I were interested in, and sharing his vast knowledge of the area. When my husband and I arrived in Myrtle Beach a week or so later, Anthony met with us and spent 4 or 5 hours driving us around to tour the various communities in the area. He was even able to get us into a couple of homes that we were interested in on very short notice. Anthony is a person who makes things happen. He is knowledgeable, engaging, available, communicative and, plain and simple, the most enthusiastic professional I have ever worked with. His observations and input, good and bad, while we viewed various homes was invaluable. There were many things that we hadn't even picked up on. While Anthony was a buyer's agent for us, if he is half as good as a seller's agent, you can absolutely trust that he will work diligently to help you sell your home. I cannot recommend a more capable agent.

It's a bit difficult to describe how awesome an experience we have had with Anthony Caywood. As transplants from Ohio, we were not exactly sure what we were looking for when we came to Georgetown County. Anthony stepped back and let us experience the area, and guided us with his experience and expertise. We contacted Anthony and told him what we were looking for and he got right to work. He sent us many properties to review online and we narrowed the list down to the ones that we really liked. When we arrived to do our walk throughs, he had everything arranged the whole process went very smooth. My wife and I contacted Anthony about 3:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday asking about a home we were interested in. He didn’t know us but listened to our request for a facetime viewing. We gave him the address and he said he would call us back in 20 minutes. In that 20 minutes, he contacted the listing agent to gain access and was actually on site when he called us back. He gave us an incredibly detailed walkthrough, actually identifying issues and pointing them out to us. We asked several questions and he said he would get back to us with the answers. After the facetime session was finished, we thanked him for his immediate assistance and ended the call. 25 minutes later, the answers to all our questions were delivered in a text.
Over the next 2 days, we corresponded with Anthony several times via text messages. Asked if we could get something that gave dimensions? 30 minutes later, a copy of the blueprints sent in an email. Not to mention the little things that Anthony provided without being asked for them. Things like a golf cart ride video through the entire neighborhood so we could see what the neighborhood was like.
We then decided to make an offer, provided Anthony with the pre-approval letter so the seller could see we were actually already qualified for the amount and wanted to close within 30 days. Anthony’s assistance did not stop there. How big is the opening for the refridgerator? He is there to measure it for us. What are the local utility companies we need to contact? A list was provided complete with phone numbers. HOA information? He provided the phone number and address of the individuals we needed to contact. What color are the walls? Sample paint card sent. What are the floors? Picture sent of the box the flooring came in with the part numbers. He took it upon himself to enter the house after the sale to ensure that the gas and water were indeed on and set the thermostat for us.
He even went so far as to come and visit when we were able to see our home for the first time. We purchased our home sight unseen and actually owned it for 3 months before seeing it. He offered to unlock the doors for furniture to be delivered. What kind of a realtor does that? I can tell you from personal experience that Anthony Caywood is an example for all other realtors to follow. He has gone over and beyond time and time again for us. He made the purchase of our home 1000 miles away, virtually stress free. All this work for us and it wasn’t even his company’s listing. He was splitting the fee with the other listing agent.
I don’t know how to sing Anthony’s praises any higher. He is a really nice guy who treats others like he would want to be treated himself. A pleasure to be around and an exceptional realtor.

What an incredible experience! During a pandemic, we bought a beautiful home, with confidence and put all of our trust in Anthony and Mark. We were treated like family. We are from NY and we were looking to purchase a home in Hoory county, and had been working with a different agent. On a three day trip down to look at homes, the previous agent was unable to get us into the houses we really wanted to see. Unhappy with our realtor and worried we made a trip for nothing, we contacted Anthony at 7pm on a Sunday. Anthony answered his phone and looked up the homes we wanted to see and made phone calls to get us into the homes the next day. Because of previous commitments Anthony was unable to take us, so he got us in touch with the selling agent. The next day we found our dream home. Again we called Anthony to get his opinion and he gave us some wonderful advice. During the mortgage process, we ran into issues with our mortgage company. Again we called Anthony and he immediately got us in touch with a local mortgage agent, who was able to get us to close in 2 weeks. We are now sitting in our dream home, and we would not be here if it were not for Anthony and the Coastal Group. We will forever be greatful!

I recently bought a house through Anthony Caywood. Never have I dealt with a more patient, professional, and caring person. It is very apparent Anthony really loves what he does. I would, and do, recommend him and his team to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

We first used Amy when we first moved to Myrtle Beach and she found us the most perfect starter home! Fast forward 5 years and one baby and we knew we needed more space. Luckily we knew the perfect person to not only list our current home but to also find us what our growing family needed within our budget.
