The Gin at Nolan Creek

Amazing experience here! Enjoyed the atmosphere within this repurposed and beautiful historic gin near the lovely flowing Nolan Creek! Food was delicious and every bite was savory! Dessert was definitely worth it! Delightful!

Had a lovely dinner here tonight. Was greeted and seated right away. We had a very Friendly and attentive waitress. I had the jalapeño chicken with broccoli. Would def go back and have it again. Very tasty! Broccoli was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My friend enjoyed her sirloin steak and seasoned fries. I forgot to take pics before we dug in, but I'm def looking forward to eating my leftovers. This was my 2nd time here and both have been great.

Wonderful casual dining inside a neat historic building. Great ambiance, right on the river. Nice view. Covered patio dining. Food was delicious, drinks were tasty. Highly recommended!
*One (very minor) thing that would be nice is coasters for patio dining! Drinks would sweat and leave puddles and dripped on everything each time you lifted your glass.

We live in the area and we like a good burger sometimes. I’m not talking about a fastfood burger or some thing mass-produced but some thing homemade without me having to go through the effort of cooking. We also wanted a view. The weather was beautiful today.
So we went to the Gin on Nolan Creek.
We’ve been here before, and had a good burger and we were not disappointed this time either. The service was excellent and the view was good and the burger was exactly what I needed. It was perfectly cooked and had so much flavor. The fries are thick cut and seasoned well. All in all a really nice visit and I’m glad it’s near my house.

The service was very good, the view of the creek is awesome. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. Thee wait staff was knowledgeable & helpful with questions about about allergy substitutions available on items of concern to me. The green beans are some of the best I've had. I wouldn't order the mashed potatoes again though.

Great place, loved the food, and the service is awesome. Will definitely be going there again. I had the ribeye which it was perfectly cooked and great quality, but it needed i bit more salt for my taste. my wife had the Mahi, she had no complaint.

Great atmosphere and food. The restaurant had seating both inside and outside. We came in a Saturday at lunch and there were no waits.

The food was well prepared and really good. The desert recommended by the waitress was great.

Service inside was great but I would improve on the service up front for seating.

Loved the service, the food was so so. Had the cucumber salad as a side. It was old and sour. 🤢.The sirloin steak was tougher than shoe leather. The baked potato was good.

My friend and I had lunch at the Gin this afternoon and loved it!! The food and drinks were delicious and the service was even better! Alexa took great care of us and was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back soon!!

Lovely atmosphere. We sat on the back patio, so my goddaughter's dog could be with us. Exceptional food & exceptional service from Ashia, who was kind & very sweet. A really lovely lunch experience. Thanks!

my family was on vacation and they were happy to had lunch at this restaurant, nicely staff, great quality of food. The decorated is pretty good.

We enjoy the food at the Gin each time we go. My favorite is the fried catfish, and the regular portion is always more than enough for me to eat. They do offer all you can eat catfish on Tuesdays as well if you have a bigger appetite. Their tartar sauce tastes homemade and pairs great with the catfish.

Great dining experience in downtown Belton. We had the Chicken Fried Steak with Sweet Potato Fries and the Sweet Jalapeño Chicken. The CFS was nicely breaded and flavorful. The Sweet Jalapeño Chicken was a nicely sized chicken breast on top of a bed of mashed potatoes with a sweet Jalapeño sauce. Very good! We enjoyed both our meals and will order them again. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will be back. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Gin at Nolan Creek and received top-notch customer service. The atmosphere in the beautiful building only added to the wonderful dining experience. Our waitress provided phenomenal customer service and was just a joy. We dined on the patio, which offered peaceful and beautiful views of the creek.

Our entrees did not disappoint. For starters, we ordered the Cotton Pickin' Sampler, which had a little of everything: cotton balls, fried avocados, fried pickle spears, and homemade onion rings—incredible! We followed that up with the chicken fried steak and chicken fajita tacos—delicious! And I couldn’t leave without ordering The Gin's Chocolate Brownie Explosion—warm, gooey brownie, topped with fudge, caramel, whipped cream, and ice cream. It’s divine. You truly cannot visit The Gin at Nolan Creek without having the brownie explosion.

I highly recommend The Gin at Nolan Creek for your dining experience—mouth watery entrees, divine desserts, an inviting atmosphere, top-notch customer service, and beautiful views. You cannot go wrong!

Salads Burgers and homemade fried chicken all top notch menu items worth the mastication. Don’t forget to order their signature bluebonnet margarita. Yummy! The spinach dip also was very tasty. However, not worth the price for the portion received. The chips are made in-house and are so good that it was a shame they were left on the plate naked with out any more dip to smother them in.
The service at the restaurant exceeded our expectations.

I give this place two enthusiastic thumbs up. I happened across The Gin as I was passing through Belton and stopped at the town square to admire the courthouse building. The Gin was one block off the square and looked interesting. I am very glad I made the stop. The Chicken Fried Steak was excellent, the garlic mashed potatoes were as well. But the seasoned green beans were stand-out fantastic. I highly recommend The Gin when you get the hankerin’ for some down-home southern comfort food.

Great food and fantastic service. Alexa provides great service and genuinely cares for her customers. Veterans discount is greatly appreciated.

The food and service is outstanding. I also love the location right next to the river and it has a great small town 'historical' feel with the way they preserved the actual 'gin' architecture.

The price point is a tad high for the area but very well worth it and I still feel the value is excellent. I would highly recommend this place for both its value/quality of food as well as the skill and sociability of the bartenders.
