Marriott Raleigh Durham Research Triangle Park

Everyone here was so nice and accommodating. Our group was here for the weekend and everyday the workers at the front desk said hi and asked how we were doing. Especially Cassandra, she was nice our entire stay, helping out with our check out, our luggage, and helping us find a ride to the airport. The whole crew was the best! We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

One of their staff member Mr. Mark who takes care the check in & shuttle service was outstanding!! His hospitality really made our day even from 4:30 AM in East Coast time which was super early for us living in West Coast. Thank you Mark!!

Words cannot express my appreciation for the staff (and cleanliness) of this property. It looks dated on the outside, but once you step foot in the front door, the renovations will lead you to believe this is a new hotel.

I was in town for less than ideal reasons and the staff here made certain I was comfortable and had everything I needed (including when I had to extend my stay at the last minute).

The staff also went above and beyond by making sure I received a package to my home that was supposed to be delivered to the hotel during my stay.

Cherry at the front desk was AMAZING - simply her personality and being. This hotel is lucky to have her.

In regards to the hotel, it was clean, updated, and way better than I expected - honestly! Bar had great drinks. I didn't eat there. Carolina football team there Friday night.

Wish I had brought my swim suit. Indoor pool and hot tub looked great.

The Marriott Raleigh Durham Research Triangle Park located at 4700 Guardian Dr
Durham, NC 27703 has been beautifully redecorated/modernized, and is a quality place to stay. Staff are helpful and friendly, the location is great, and there is a parking lot outside. Parking costs $10 daily. The TV in the room is gigantic, almost too big for the room, however the channels change very, very slowly - but it’s still great.
There was an annoying hum that was pretty loud, but that’s what the A/C / Heat does when on.
There IS A SOLUTION to the annoying hum in the rooms - put a rubber mat underneath the refrigerator, or take it out of the cabinet as it greatly echoes the sound of the motor. It’s extremely annoying as it’s loud!!! Is silent on the carpeted floor.
Bed is comfortable!

I just checked in at Marriott Research Triangle. Tyra at the front desk was very patient, courteous, and polite . She took care of my needs in a timely manner. I always chose this Marriott when I work in this area because of the great service they provide. Tyra, thank you for taking care of me today, although it wasn’t easy.

Nice location, good decor. Nice upgrade to a suite. Breakfast could've been better. Staff was great

Overall, I give my whole experience 5 stars and I don’t usually say that (not a huge fan of hotels). BUT, their food was amazing, my server was very attentive and fantastic. Her name was Brenna and she made sure I had a great time, that my food was to my satisfaction. I’ve never quite had that great of a server. I would 10/10 recommend.

Booked a 2 queen room for 3 people and it was beyond tiny! Beds seemed smaller than full, but we are used to sleeping on Cal King so… However, staff made it right, giving us a great deal on another room. Across the board, the staff made the experience amazing! Housekeeping routinely asked if we needed anything and said they aimed to please. Bar/restaurant staff were kind, even if we just wanted ice water filled. Location was great, convenient to airport and interstates.

Only negative, other than room sizes, is that the concierge lounge is only open weekdays.

I was not expecting such good food and drink for a Marriott! Easily the best bartenders and amazing mixologists! The food was fantastic, and even the buffet that was served during our stay was great. This is really the single best hotel food and beverage experience I have had at a Marriott (or any other chain).

This is the second memorable stay I’ve had at this property. After consecutive incomparable service, I had to shine some light into my stay. First, I checked in extremely late (around 10:30 pm) and the front desk was very understanding. We stayed to celebrate my daughter’s 6th birthday, as she wanted to go swimming. I brought my 3 children and their bags in and, Quention, escorted us up to our room while helping with my bags! He then helped me roll the trolly back downstairs and gave us complimentary breakfast for the next morning! No hotel has ever done this for me, not even the “overly priced” properties. As I stated, we checked in very late but my daughter still wanted to go swimming (the pool at this location closes at 11 pm and we got to the pool around 10:55 pm) The person I am assuming was the manager (I did not get to look at her name tag, but she is a ROCKSTAR!) told us we could utilize the pool until 11:30. I excitedly thanked her as I saw it as an inconvenience. About 10 minutes later this angel comes back to the pool to tell us we could stay until midnight AND brought us fresh towels to our table. The kids really enjoyed swimming. Lastly, as we prepared for bed I realized I forgot to bring milk for my son’s bottle. I went down stairs to locate some but there was none available for sale. I went to the bar to see if they had some, and the bar was closed. A man sitting at the bar, obviously off of work for the night (I didn’t get his name either) asked me did I need help. I asked if he worked here and he said yes, but he was done for the day but never too busy to help out! He went to the back and went on a 15 minute hunt for milk for my child! I have never been to a hotel where not one, or two of the employees were excellent it was the entire staff! I could not check out without letting you know how awesome they were to us and we cannot wait to come back! 11/10 would recommend!

Just got done with a 4 night stay, have to say this is one of my most favorite marriott stays in a while...purely because of the staff!!! Wow! Checked in aug30...whoever is running this place, please pass on a huge thanks to the front desk lady and the manager that night...BOTHwere amazing. All smiles and so helpful. The room was clean and slept comfortably. Breakfast was solid and those working breakfast were also friendly. Gym was small, but more than adequate to keep in the routine while away from home. If you're staying by rdu for a night or a few, stay here!

This hotel provided excellent service, friendly helpful employees, and a great experience! Every employee went out of their way to serve the guests. The lobby, restaurant, and room were all very clean and updated. Sounds could not be heard through the room walls (though we could hear people in the hallway). Highly recommend this hotel when you are in the area!

I’m solely writing this review because of Cassandra’s exceptional service. I travel everywhere for work, have stayed in hundreds of hotels and it’s people like Cassandra who make you come back. It’s almost like she anticipated my needs as soon as I walked in the door - she went over and beyond!

Customer service was amazing. Had booked another Marriott and when we arrived said they were full. Came to this hotel spoke to the manager told her what happened, and she got me in a room. Thank you so much for help. Will not stay anywhere else!

Was a little hesitant with the star rating but glad we booked. The young lady that greeted us was so friendly. We got there after 8 so we called to let them know we would be late. I was glad to meet her when we checked in. She was pleasant on the phone and also in person. Didn't get a chance to get her name.The lounge area was clean and the customers appeared satisfied with other staff members that were helping. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable and great for an overnight stay. No complaints at all.
