What a great steakhouse! We celebrated some family members here and had fantastic service, delicious food and a great time. When we’re back in the area, this is a spot we’ll be returning to. Fantastic selection of steaks and seafood. There are vegan options here as well.
Be aware there is a dress code here. Expect to need a reservation.

The service is just phenomenal. The food is delicious, and the little pound cake they give you when you’re celebrating a special occasion is such a sweet touch. The acoustics could be a little better, it can be difficult to hear the people at your table when everyone around you are also speaking.

This place is a hidden gem, full of history and great food! The staff is amazing! Our party was welcomed with open arms, assisted us with preparing a surprise party, and they truly felt like party planners. The restaurant is very clean as well as the bathrooms, and the kitchen staff are as friendly and welcoming as the wait staff as well. I will DEFINITELY return for more!!

One of the most unique dining experiences we've ever had! Food was very very good, wine selection is large and included some of my favorite wines.
But what took my breath away was decor!
Chocolate cheesecake is a must have.

We love the Turkey lounge. It's more intimate than the restaurant and we feel we can enjoy an evening without being rushed. Service is always very good, attentive but not rushed. Appetizers of Oysters Rockefeller and crab dip were both plentiful and well prepared. We shared a half order of dip and it was more than enough for 2. We also split a salad which was really plentiful. The steak is why we come here. The bone in ribeye was soooooo good, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Be sure to get the garlic butter, it's ridiculously good. The loaded potatoes, blue cheese mashed potatoes and french fries are all very good. Drinks are all spot on. There a large menu of spirits including many high end tequilas, scotches, and bourbon. I also like the wine menu, it's large and diverse. They allow a 3 or 6 flights of any wine, champagne or dessert wine on the menu. We enjoyed that so we could taste 6 wines. Dessert here is fire with our favorite being the key lime that is served frozen. This place is too much, in a great way!

Hey, this one was really special for my wife and me! We actually made this reservation a whopping 3 months ago, all because we were planning this awesome trip to North Carolina for our pre-Valentine's celebration. And guess what? We're finally here! The big day has arrived. Let me tell you, when we got to the place, the ambiance, the decoration, even the weather, it was all just perfect. And let me not forget to mention the service we received upon arrival. It was absolutely amazing! The hostess was so incredibly attentive. Once we were seated, our waiter Lee was on fire with the presentation of all the mouthwatering options on the menu. Now, I went for their famous meat dish, and let me tell you, it was like cutting through butter with just a fork! The flavors were absolutely incredible. As for my wife, she went for the combo of sirloin and lobster, and let me tell you, she was over the moon with happiness. I genuinely recommend this place if you happen to be around. This parts Seriously, you've got to try Angus Barn, Now, I think we need a little walk to digest all that deliciousness. Haha, just kidding!

Went back for the first time in a while on my birthday (which luckily falls during the time they go all out with holiday decorations!) It. Was. Gorgeous. Per usual they outdid themselves in every way imaginable. Atmosphere was fantastic and there were some awesomely friendly people working who helped ensure we still got a table even though we were running a little behind for the reservation/late in general. Obviously the food was delicious! Oysters were fresh and I had what I'm pretty sure was the best steak sandwich of my life. Please don't ever take that off the menu! Server was really nice and knowledgeable; she even made it a point to bring a cute little birthday dessert over. Thanks for always going above and beyond to ensure a one-of-a-kind experience. It was magical, even more so after learning about the history behind the resturant and the decor. Can't wait to return, will definitely be back there a lot more this year.

Went to the Angus Barn for our Anniversary and it was amazing. Our waitress was the sweetest and so awesome. It was our first time going and we've always wanted to go, they did not disappoint. I will definitely be going back in the future.

2023 was the first time my family experienced the magical Christmas at the Angus Barn! The atmosphere was top notch inside and out! Staff waiting to offer to take a family photo. Once seated you are brought two heaping scoops of two different cheeses along with crackers and an assortment of marinade olives and peppers . I ordered a steak and my two teenagers ordered a burger off the child's menu and they could not finish it. We all had more than enough food. The Hubs and I shared a cheese cake that is equally excellent. On the way out the door to my surprise we were each handed soft gingerbread cookie and shocker it was amazing

Excellent food , beautiful place… elegantly decorated with Christmas. Our waiters was very friendly and polite.. super nice !! His customer service was excellent. Next time we will enjoy the tomahawk for two. Definitely I highly recommend this restaurant

First time here with my daughter, and we really enjoyed it. The decor was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and our waitress(Rebecca?) was fantastic. Can't wait to come back.

I come to RTP often for work, and never realized this hidden gem was in the area all along! What made me go to them to dine were the many reviews that said they they had a separate gluten free menu. What I did not expect is how beautiful the location and the restaurant itself was! I was lucky to visit it close to the holidays where the place looked like Christmas originated from there!! Every inch of the restaurant was magnificently decorated and was a visual treat.

The food was excellent and they did indeed have a completely separate gluten free menu. Server was knowledgeable and got me a gluten free cheese and crackers plate too. My beef ribs with the red wine jus was heavenly. Although pricey, the restaurant is a must visit for whoever visits RTP. Highly recommend.

If you love steak and Christmas, then this place is for you. We went on a Sunday without reservations and waited maybe 15 min to be sat at the bar in the Wild Turkey Lounge. The food was great and I highly recommend the chocolate chess pie warmed up a bit. Of course, it’s a bit pricey, so save this place for a special occasion. Would definitely return!

Updated review: I have now been to Angus Barn three times and the food has been consistently so good!! The stuffed potato is the way to go for the potato side, and make sure you asked for the bread and butter. I had to update my review to add pictures of the INCREDIBLE holiday decorations - seriously, now I understand why they book out for the holidays by the spring. The lights and other decorations are unbelievably beautiful and if you can score a reservation for next year sometime during November or December I highly recommend it.

We came for my boyfriend’s birthday last night and had the best time. All of the food was incredible, and the Caesar salad was the best we’ve ever had. We also really enjoyed the relish tray of pickled vegetables and the bread with honey butter. The service was excellent as well- Stephanie was so great and definitely made our visit special. She even brought out a cake for my boyfriend’s birthday (with candles!) and it was such a thoughtful end to the meal. Definitely looking for an excuse to come back ASAP

Great evening with family at Angus Barn. Reminded me of a good lodge atmosphere. The food is fantastic, a little bit too crowded with people, the server could come to check on us more often, than it was. Too many walking around workers, but you can't get any attention. The wine glass had a huge stain inside and we waited for the glass replacement (with already poured wine) for a good 15 minutes.
House wine was great. Overall, we need more upscale places around the area, to keep the service level on the toes.

We come a few times a year but our January visits are best when we come for the decorations. Angus Barn is unmatched and our 2 little kids love it. Husband and I shared a Chateaubriand for Two which was a lot of food and quite a deal for Center Cut Tenderloin with 2 soup/salad, and 2 sides each for like $103 I believe or around there. Kids had Alfredo Ravoli and ate it up. We always get cheese and crackers to take home because it's definitely the best thing there. We will see you soon!!

Hands down, Best Steak in Raleigh!!! The Angus Barn is beautifully decorated for Christmas and the holiday season. They have Elves available to take your picture. A cute little country store, a lounge to wait in. The staff are super friendly and happy to answer any questions. Our server was Paige, she was excellent! I highly suggest requesting her. This was our first time, and she walked us through the entire experience, from the history of the venue, the special offerings, the highlights of the menu, and how things are prepared. The food is excellent, well proportioned and delicious. Paige went above and beyond with suggestions and service all around. They have an extensive wine list and draft beer selection, and the deserts are amazing with a huge selection. Our family will deffinetly be back, and if you are looking for a great family treat during the holidays that sets the mood for the season, add them to your list, and you won't be disappointed!!!

Winter lights are beautiful outside! But the moment you walk in, outside lights are nothing compared to the decoration they did inside. Food is great, service is awesome.

The Angus Barn never disappoints, and it's extra special when decorated for the holidays! Every inch of the venue/restaurant, both outside and inside is impeccable. The food and service was fabulous as well. I recommend getting the filet mignon and half rack ribs combo, loaded mashed potatoes and salad. We were surprised by an Angus Barn pound cake for our anniversary. The chocolate chess pie is mouth watering good - buy a pie from their country store for $25 to take home and enjoy heated a la mode. Yummy!

This is hands down the best thing to do around Christmas! Nothing can possibly beat this! So fun. We did a 9:30 reservation and got there at 8, we walked around, got drinks, checked out the cigars and decor. So fun! Food was great, huge portions, tons of leftovers!
