I enjoyed everything about this store. Was pleasantly surprised... I've lived in Durham almost my whole life. I've seen this store for many years now and was in the area so I stopped by. I'll be visiting this store again.

Love the low price food meats are pretty good to and cheap. My daughter and I go every month

It doesn't have a great selection but what they have is an amazing price. The have all of the basics and a decent Spanish food selection but it has an American Tex Mex flair. Over all yes shop there and save some money.

Really like the new manager, when I went in this morning he greeted several people. He smiled and and told everyone if they needed any help to ask him. That's the first time in 3yrs anyone from Save a lot that ever did that, don't know where you found him but he needs to be training some the employees that are already there.

GREAT PRICES & STAFF- We go almost everyday for whats needed at a great price. Staff is beyond helpful and very pleasant. Location is convenient for any one especially in the downtown Durham area.** NOTE: PUMPKINS at Save-A-Lot are always lowest priced, and great quality**

My second time perusing this particular food chain and was a very enjoyable experience. I enjoy the small town atmosphere and the very reasonable prices especially with their meat and produce as compared to larger food chains. Highly recommend as an alternative to visit and try its products !

I was one of the original workers at this location. We helped build the shelves and stocked everything for opening day. What a pleasure it was to be a part of that wonderful team and the staff was amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about this store.

This is a cute little store i go here from time to time i am able to get meat produce and many of the other day to day items i need for cooking and cleaning its a real down to earth kind of place not 40 choices of the same thing but 1 or 2 and the prices are great you will be surprised what you can get for under 40 bucks here

Personnel here are very helpful and you find things in this store you can't find in other stores. There is one point I would like to put special emphasis on; THE LADIES ROOM IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS THE CLEANEST LADIES ROOM I HAVE EVER VISITED outside of mine.

Great sales. Red grapes .99 lb. Swaggerty Sausage was sold out and manager retrieved one from the back. Helpful and cheerful staff.

I love that the Staff is always consistant and turn over is low. I can always find what I need at an amazing price. I always feel welcomed and staff is always personable and kind. Hard to find with the bigger grocers.

This is a place that I frequent a lot the associates are awesome Great customer service. The products always on the shelves. Keep up the great work u guys.

Store was clean and well stocked. Cashier was pleasant and friendly. I will shop there again, the prices was reasonable and the meat was fresh looking.

The middle aged dark haired cashier was SOOO kind. Best grocery experience ever!

Good prices, except for the WIC items, they do not have much of a selection for cereals, juices, cheese, etc.

Customer service has always been good here and you can't beat the prices. Especially on meat.

This store always have the best prices on theirs meats. 30.00 go a long way in this store.
